Once upon a time, I was on an e-mail listserve for people with bipolar. One woman on there, her wife didn't want to mess up her shirt when she was cleaning the oven. Their son was at school, so she stripped her top off while she was spraying oven cleaner in the oven. Yup, you guessed it, she ended up with chemical burns on her chest. If she had thought maybe to throw on maybe some crap shirt, she would have been protected, but it hit her skin instead.

Laws about stores making there own flavors?
spydre replied to nicole8524's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Like the others said, it sounds like it's a load of hooey, unless it's a local law. FDA hasn't said anything about it, and 4 out of 5 stores here "brew their own" now, but one's been brewing for two and a half years, before they even opened their storefront. Or is it three out of five? I lost track. -
Ooooh, thanks. If that indeed fits, I owe you one! Okay, there's actually TWO o-ring items I need, other than drip tip o-rings which I already have. The one you linked me to is the o-ring on the base, around where the coil screws in. This link: is for the o-rings in the top and bottom caps of the KPT2. http://www.sun-vapers.com/buy/kanger-protank-glass-o-rings/ So I figure I'll get a couple of sets to keep at least one set handy if this happens again. This is the first time I've had the o-rings foul up like this, but I'm not the one that had a tank of Pluid just sitting for months, not even being vaped. Okay, for right now, until we can get all the o rings replaced, the tank is sitting in my box. There is still a Pluid smell even on the glass (which has no rubber pieces touching it) from about six inches away. My SO didn't want me to take the o rings out prior to soaking them so I don't get confused as to what goes to where, so those parts smell stronger. So, this is after scrubbing before the vodka, soaking in vodka, and scrubbing after vodka. As a matter of fact, even over the alcohol smell of the vodka, the vodka I soaked in it smelled like Pluid. No more vodka until next year. But what would my next step be? Boil it in water a la baby bottles (yes, I did plenty of that in my time, the nipples, too)?

Bump when you get something in vape mail.

Ah, okay, I'll sit on my hands, and instead of liking Medic's posts, I'll just quote them with a big THUMBS UP!!!!! -

Well, we asked if we could like BOTH your posts AND medic's posts.....and they gave YOU the like button and not Medic. -

Waaaaaiiiiiit. Jeffb, Chris, you made it so we can like Comp's posts but not Medic's posts! So Medic, here's a great big for you! -
I tried ONE menthol flavor. That's because of the two times I slipped up and got an analog off someone, I smoked about three of my sister's Kools, and you'd think a month after setting the analogs down, I wouldn't be able to hack it, but I did. So I tried a Kool inspired vape, and about gagged.

Yeah, Fast Tech HAS been known to go through middle men. If they advertise it as genuine, it's real.

Just saying, don't always trust what you get off e-Bay.

Spiced Apple (Signature Flavor) 12 mg This flavor was absolutely on par with the Apple Cider. Truthfully, if I had to choose (and I do, I can't get them BOTH), I would choose the Apple Cider, but the Spiced Apple was wonderful, too. Same presentation in the bottle, and the taste lingers in your mouth a bit, and for me, at least, the taste made my mouth water, and made me hungry.

I KNOW this Bebop. However, I believe what was hitting him hard was the resistance/voltage/wattage combination, which makes a difference in EVERY tank.

Please explain how LR drains a battery faster?
spydre replied to spydre's topic in General Vaping Discussion
But his didn't answer the wattage question. I pretty much used the same words that Phil used, while showing the math on slides. -
Yes.

I don't know, my SO's new RDA (holds enough to vape from it without dripping, actually) hits pretty hard, according to him. Of course, it came with a .8 ohm coil, so 4.2 volts on a fresh charge, he was vaping at 22 watts, IIRC, I did the calculations for him last night.

Okay, so um, that green thing next to your magneto? That's, um much bigger than what the link says the IGO-L shows, and well, looks like a really TALL pack of analogs. Is that the box the thing comes in? -
Look, if I thought you meant rapper, that would have been one thing. And from the way you spell, it was conceivable, which is why I asked. It was you thinking it was funny (while allowing the assumption that you meant RAPE) that pissed me off even more. You even mentioned in one of your posts IN THIS THREAD "rapping", spelled correctly, so why don't you just correct the misspelling in your user name? It's under user tools. BTW, as far as spelling, unless you are exclusively mobile, every word you type is spell checked. It's that line underneath the word.

Please explain how LR drains a battery faster?
spydre replied to spydre's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Well, in a roundabout, shortened way, after my SO (see Jeff, I'm not saying hubby) failed to explain it adequately, it seems to all break down to the amps or current. LR requires more amps (current) to achieve the same voltage or wattage, thus draining the battery faster, than midrange resistance or high resistance. http://www.tasteyourjuice.com/wordpress/2013/01/02/beginners-guide-to-e-cigs-and-e-cig-tech/ -
Not the only place I've found/heard the advice, but didn't feel like looking them up. One place was ECF - which reiterated the size differences between the particles.

What creates a less pull 2.5 ohm coils or 1.8 ohm coils?
spydre replied to Patricia's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Well, like I said, that came from my SO. He had no problem performing the maneuver on one of my evods. I don't know if we ever figured out what the problem was on that particular tank, but it worked after I changed the coil. But he is fond of saying something to the effect that if you reboot your PC after a BSOD yeah, it works again, but it hasn't fixed the problem. Although in this case, I'm pretty sure it was the coil. -
Yup. So, in a word, inappropriate.

spydre replied to Patricia's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Goof, my problems were fixed. The only thing we can think is it was a series of bad coils, including new ones, because once I got the 2.5 coils, I missed my 2.5 resistance, plus I was still tired of fighting to draw off it, and the problem fixed it. As far as me mentioning the holes, someone else said that before me. The center post thing, I'm repeating what was told to me by my SO, last time I had a KPT2 problem - he looked at it and said there was no way to shimmy it down, or whatever, and that was the coil, but he did try to screw it so it would come down, and it didn't work. EDIT: I need to get my own tweezers so I don't have to keep asking him to use the tweezers on his Swiss Army Knife. -
That's what was recommended to me by TWO local shops.

Does buying my SO an RDA (I think he said Helios clone, or something like that) count? -
Um, no. Inappropriate?

You know what? Just shut up arguing about it. One of the reasons I want to know is because I'm a Watts kind of gal, true, HOWEVER, I have remembered there is a tasteyourjuice.com video that goes into it in detail.
