  1. Bite me, Jeff, I haven't read ECF other than for a few things where I needed LOTS of info since I started here. Tam, it's easier to deal with, IMO. Easy to fill, etc. Some people have found, including some that work at some of the local B&M's, carto/tanks not to their liking - one punch too dry, two punches two wet, whatever. Get to know what you like first, then expand. Frankly, I would LOVE to try cartos, even though I have probably $100 invested in KPT2s right now, but my issue would be finding ones that I can fill and change out the carto part when I'm having trouble with my hands (was gonna make a thread on that this week, actually).
  2. Vape Dudes, even though it is made to order, I have never had to steep.
  3. I never said you did. In fact, truthfully, the ONLY thing I have seen produce clouds of smoke is a cigar, not, well, the first thing that popped in my mind, unless you are smoking ANYTHING with the windows rolled up so smoke, or vapor, can't escape. Maybe it is because my SO does not vape as much when I am in the car, though I don't know why, but he admitted as much.
  4. What, exactly, is the barrel. For reference, I'm still using the Boge 2 ohm models I started out with.
  5. Essentially, a built in Gennie?
  6. I am NOT saying do something covertly, but frankly, in the car, crack a damn window or something, and don't make it LOOK like something illegal. My SO has a couple sub ohms, and while, yeah, he gets plenty of vapor, it's never looked like THAT.
  7. Do you know if it needs to steep and for how long?
  8. For me, it was to quit smoking, and it IS cheaper, excepting the equipment. I have NEVER gone more than three days without a cigarette. No matter what method I tried. Now, it has become sort of a hobby as well. The minors who admit to trying e cigs probably do so because their parents no longer have analogs around, they have vaping equipment around, as the analog use among minors has gone down. Only problem is, where a parent wouldn't notice a cigarette missing here or there, they sure as hell would notice a stick battery or device missing.
  9. Tonight I'm using my starter eGo because my Winder has too quick of a cut off timer and I can't adjust voltage in the dark, and my MVP is charging. Can't wait until that VTR gets here Thursday.
  10. Look, long before there were public health laws about smoking, you could't smoke in stores. Just consider it one of those things
  11. Especially since Stevia, while derived from a plant, has chemicals added. If you have not used it heated up before, I would try the Stevia itself raw, and then heated. Then again, the Stevia could have the aftertaste, like other sweeteners.
  12. You could have squished the base o ring. Or, in the alternative, if you rinsed/washed the tank, you could have lost the base o ring.
  13. In a rut, need a change, possibly sooner than Fadora can get up and running. Maybe it's just this sinus crap. I'll make a post on it.
  14. Maybe just don't blow such big clouds in the car in the future. Won't look suspicious.
  15. Um, shouldn't be leaking from the coils. You may have lost on o-ring, or you may not have the coil screwed all the way in? If you are using an evod, those are the only two reasons I can think of for it to be leaking out of the bottom, but it's a problem if you aren't noticing the leaking BEFORE it gets to the point that it shuts your battery down, which means it's had time to sit there and pool for a bit before leaking down. Are you not getting gurgling?
  16. Why did you get the 510 to 510 connector?
  17. It should be, at least, the malic acid - ethyl maltos is used as a sweetener in vaping - it might have actually been cheaper to get a little bit of that and add a few drops?
  18. Not true. I've seen PLENTY of studies that show that e-cigs are safe, that nicotine is not as harmful as once thought, etc. It's pretty hard to come up with a study that makes ANYTHING look worse than analogs with 4000+ chemicals and 40+ known carcinogens, some that only become carcinogenic when they are, you guessed it, lit on fire, as in an analog.
  19. Okay, first things first. Whatever 510 tank you were already using is fine. As you are new to vaping, I would recommend a Kanger Pro Tank 2 before heading into cartomizer territory, although some people like the Pro Tanks better than cartomizers, or DEFINITELY before heading into a rebuildable territory. I don't know a lot about the 134 other than it's variable wattage with no voltage option on there, which is rare. But it's from a company that has a VERY good track record (I currently have an MVP and I have a VTR that's due to ship today). Just make sure you have good batteries (NEVER buy batteries off of EBay), a good charger, and you vape safely.
  20. First, it's not a conservative or liberal thing, it's a lack of knowledge, HOWEVER, it's keeping the policy in line with the smoking policy - again, I find it's from lack of knowledge as much as anything else. Conservative cities are doing it as well, as it's being lumped with smoking. I just take it for granted that I can't vape where I can't smoke, although there is no law against it (it's up to the business owner here, bars and restaurants), except for all the bars in the area allow it, and some other businesses specifically state they are vape friendly.
  21. Is it just me, or is "SuchFriendsAreDangerous" purposely idiotic? Nicotine is NOT a carcinogen. Many of the carcinogens in cigarettes aren't actually carcinogenic until they are combusted. And how the hell did he get a "list of ingredients" of certain brands of cigarettes? Anyway, he's blowing bs smoke.
  22. Well, they told you it was held up at the HK post office, and that was when they were switching from mailing through HK to a different route . Holiday doesn't start 'til next Friday. But yeah, either don't order until the holiday is over, or well, you can order it now, just expect it to be delayed by more than a week more than normal because of the Chinese New Year.
  23. Okay, so if you don't like a strong anise flavor, why Pluid? Sorry, just had to ask.
  24. This was my guess, too, but he said Amazon. You said you haven't tried a different tank with it - I would do that first and foremost, see if you can get SUSTAINED vaping off a different tank. That would point to something between the tank and the unit being the issue. I've had tanks that have worked with one device and not with another, so the problem would lie with the device it doesn't work with, or with user error. Again, checking to see if batteries are fully charged (don't know what type of charger you are using, but even 18650 batteries it doesn't take me seven hours to charge), making sure the device is consistently ACTUALLY firing when you press the fire button, etc. and so forth.
  25. Wow, what tanks are you buying that cost $50 +? RDAs?
