Yeah, our son had one of those after his marching band trip to the Chick Fil A Bowl in Atlanta his junior year (I have the 30 seconds of the half time show that they actually showed on TV, and they got him on camera for about 5 seconds; it's saved on the DVR), but we always put the money on it, and he didn't get a bank account until this summer after he graduated. Band took up too much for him to get a job, for most of the year. Marching band, pep band, every other band except for jazz band.

This reminds me. Friday, I was in a local B&M where I got to play with the VTR and the SVD, when the clerk was talking to me about the Aspire tanks, she told me the only time she'd heard of one cracking is one of their customers brought it in, it had been attached to his MVP, he had dropped the whole thing without knowing it, evidently, and ran over it with his truck. Cracked the Aspire, MVP was fine. Truthfully, at this point in time, I don't know which I like better, the VTR, which I've had a total of maybe seven hours, or my old Sigelei Zmax. Worst comes to worst, the VTR can be used as an awesome blunt force head trauma weapon.

First time I got carded for cigarettes was when I was 22, carrying a baby/toddler in one arm, and carrying a baby carrier with another baby in the other arm. I had literally pulled out of my wallet just enough cash to pay for the cigarettes and gas in the car so I didn't have to put the kids down (mind you, wedding band on my hand as well, dressed for work as a legal secretary). And he carded me. So I set my 2 year old down on the gas station counter while I dug in my purse for my ID. And this was at a gas station that not only sold me analogs at 16 without batting an eye, but the assistant manager would flirt with me while he did so. And I would go in while wearing my high school show choir outfit, lol! But no, six years, two kids, a wedding, etc., and I don't look old enough to buy cigarettes. That's the only time they ever carded me again.

Exactly. Geeze, at 15/16, I knew exactly which gas stations/c-stores in town would sell me cigarettes and which would ask for ID. They are doing SPOT checks on tobacco sales now like they've been doing on alcohol sales, but still not enough to get every clerk at every store/station carding. Especially when you have some of those little walk in c-stores or markets as problematic for other reasons, they aren't going to bat an eye at selling smokes to a kid who's underage.

Yeah, Mean means that the setting will actually go up and down only average out or "mean" what you set it at, which is generally not what we are after as vapers - we like specificity. At least I do. I don't want my voltage or power going up or down based on a pulse width modulation or whatever determines it.

I started vaping July 17th, and we smoked analogs to finish our current supply out - that ran until July 27th. I've only picked up a cigarette on two days since then, the last time was August 14th.

Secondly - um, well, have you started looking up information on HOW to rebuild, what you need - especially an ohmmeter - to do it safely, to do it at all, etc. We need a starting point to start the advice.

Is it possible you washed your tank out before hand and didn't get all the soap rinsed off? Of course, Bebop put it better than I did. Yes, of course, it's POSSIBLE to get leaks that way, but if all things are working as they should, you shouldn't (such as the o ring we both mentioned) get leaks from the coil area. Once upon a time, I had an o ring in the wrong place in a tank, and didn't realize it, and a few times, when I would leave my tank on it's side overnight (a mini pro tank 2, it was the upper o ring), I would come down in the morning to an empty tank. Had no clue where the juice was going because it was sitting on a dark towel overnight, and the towel appeared dry. Finally figured out what was going on when I figured out I had the o ring in the wrong spot.

I wouldn't really say that. Granted, I didn't have a CC (but I popped Davides, Pro Tanks, etc. on there as tanks), but I had/have a 900 mah eGo and the battery itself is just over the length of the palm of my hand. When I FIRST started vaping, my 900 mah would last me about 18 clocked hours - not 18 hours of actual puffing time, but from the first time I picked it up after it charged, to the time the battery died, was about 18 hours - until my vaping increased. With the 650 mah, if he increases the rate he vapes, there's no wiggle room, and if he actually vapes more than he thinks, than even two 650's may not be enough for a full day. I would say what size he needs would be dependent on about how many ppd the OP smokes. Casual to one person may be heavy to another.

They MAY however, use their money and power to influence lawmakers and the FDA to make it - well, let's say mail order benefits the non-cigalike side, and of course, a variety of juices, whereas no internet sales, especially of juices, would benefit them, because there IS limited shelf space, and limited knowledgeable staff to help people out if you are say, running into a gas station or regular smoke shop.

Um, did you order from Alien Visions or Alien Vapors. Alien Vapors is the knock of Boba's (a key clue would be that the juice has PG in it), and Maple Rum isn't one of Alien Visions' flavors, although they do have a maple flavor, just not rum.

My VTR and THREE glass bottles with droppers came via USPS today (not our regular postman, and as he left the package at the door he made a crack about the dog barking, so that ticked me off). It's immediately solved one of my problems that I was having - with the MVP, for whatever reason, with this one KTP2 (but not when I had it in an ego fitting tank), my RY4 was vaping very cool - I mean coming out cool, despite the power setting, even when it tasted burned. Now, the temperature of the vape has actually changed and it's not getting on my nerves to vape it! Hell, I haven't even played with it yet, since I didn't sleep last night and I'm sick-ish. But before I did the dishes or looked at any other posts today, I wanted to brag on that. :P My longer drip tips haven't come in yet, so I'm using the extender until they do. EDIT: Lemme change that. Even with my longer drip tip (I don't know how long it is), it still puts the box practically RIGHT in my face, so at least when I'm in the house, I'll be using the extender thing.

Well, other than using outdated information (the 2009 thing), which contains information that is no longer true, and calling nicotine highly addictive, I'm playing Devil's Advocate here - probably because Durbin is my Senator, but also because I sort of came of age in a time where they transitioned from showing people smoking on TV to almost no one smoking on TV. And those characters that ARE shown smoking on TV now (other than cigars, it seems), generally seem to be evil, or conniving, or *******, or some negative light. The powers that be, while they aren't happy that smoking is shown on TV, are more than happy to have it shown (cigarettes, that is) in the light that it is, in a negative light, and only "negative characters" smoke. Again, this was butting up against legislation that isn't there - you can't smoke in hotels, so they didn't have to worry about it before (and it was held in a hotel ballroom). No such law preventing vaping, so people were doing it.

Very cool. So better than their normal two to three week turnaround time. Maybe part of THAT problem was the HK post office. But I think another part of the problem is they are a huge supplier - think Chinese Amazon (they sell damn near everything) - but I don't think they have the kind of system in place as Amazon (where it's mostly robotics retrieving the order, and humans just running the parcels from one place to another or some such). I know Amazon is mostly robotic assembly line. Maybe Fast Tech is mostly human - and doesn't expect INHUMAN speed from their humans (I've heard horror stories about workers in Amazon's warehouses). Or maybe getting from Singapore to LA does take that long, and I'm way out of the ballpark on the other. Who knows.

Okay, it's 5:30 am and I'm still up, but I've been meaning to post this since midnight, I just got busy, if you can call chatting busy. I'm in a serious rut, juice wise. Maybe it's this sinus crap I have going on the last few days, but I can't really get into any of my flavors. Even my normal majority of the time vape, unless I make an effort to limit myself, I'm feeling blah about - maybe because it's so heat sensitive. I know power SHOULDN'T make a difference when you adjust settings, but I can't even get this juice to 7 volts on a FRESH Kanger coil without it tasting burned. Generally, I don't try to set volts on it, unless I have to use my Winder, which I only use when my MVP is charging, and after Thursday, I won't have to use anymore, because I'll have my VTR, and I'll have three 18650 batteries that I can rotate. So I'm in some sort of rut. Hopefully, Comp will get payment issues ironed out with Fadora so I can get Apple Cider soon, but I can't vape that and only that. So I'm looking for juice suggestions. I was thinking I need to get away from Better Vapes juices, as my main juices come from Better Vapes, although they do have a Pina Colada that's promising, but it's one of those I'm not sure I would be an every day vape. Maybe I need to get away from tobacco flavors, because that's the majority of what I've been vaping most of the time, but the non-tobacco flavors I have (french vanilla, chocolate banana, apple fritter - which pales in comparison to Fadora's Apple Cider - the last of no bake cake, and Irish Cream) are again either meh, or at times, downright irritating. I should note that the Apple Fritter and French Vanilla came from Better Vapes, as well, I guess. I was going to order the Five Pawns sample pack, just to give me something hopefully yummy to vape in the mean time, but a) it's only 4 ml per flavor, which, if I like the flavor, will last me a day, day and a half; and I don't want to start liking a flavor that's already priced out of the ballpark for me. I can get some extras right now, but I can't vape Five Pawns regularly, or even semi regularly. So here I am wondering what to do, juice wise. And I'm asking for opinions. Like I said, this could be from my sinus issues going on - it's not an infection, I don't think, just the nasty symptoms you get when your head feels like it's going to explode and all that which has been going on for days - but this....malaise, I think predates the sinus crap, maybe. Well, I was excited to get a large supply of my 555 and was hitting that pretty hard for a day or two, and was excited to get my Kick Ash tobacco and hit on that pretty solidly for about a day, but that's been about it. For the most part, I just can't get into my juices, so I'm looking for recommendations. If it's something that requires weeks worth of steeping, I would probably have to hyper steep it, because I don't want to have to wait a month before I can vape it. Anyway, and input is appreciated.

The scary thing is, in Great Britain, they did a survey, and 40% of the doctors there believed nicotine was a carcinogen. No medical literature to back it up, they were just evidently taught that, or formed that opinion on their own because of all the other carcinogens in analogs. I hope the people that ran the survey set them straight, but after this long, I have doubts they would be believed. There needs to be a scientific study about all the effects of nicotine alone, without the tobacco, since nicotine is contained in other plants as well. There's already been a small study that's given pretty conclusive evidence that nicotine from vaping without analogs does NOT contribute to lessened elasticity in the coronary arteries, whereas when subjects' coronary artery elasticity was measured (I don't know how) after smoking analogs, there was something like a 15% reduction from previous elasticity.

Okay, so they are, slightly longer, the long barrels? I noticed on the custom, you can customize for type of juice - VG/PG, VG only, or PG only. So what happens when you normally do a mix, but you end up getting one that's all one or the other due to vendor specs, like Boba's, do you have to get another atty, or can you get by with what you have?
