  1. Wow, Comp, didn't realize on the signature flavors you were going to allow personalizing to the 5's. Everyone else just does in 10's.
  2. LOL to all of you men! And Joshua, my mother in law was the same way with closet space. I mean, they live in a 100 year old house, so except for the addition, the closets are pretty small (and the "original" bathroom was originally a bedroom, so it's HUGE, it was converted when indoor plumbing for toilets and tubs became commonplace, and rather than dividing the room in half, the owners at that time left it as a whole room - it was bigger than my SO's bedroom, come to think of it, before he got the addition bedroom). Anyway, frankly, at one point, I have no CLUE where my father in law hung his clothes. By the time SO and I got married, (and she's one that, erm, adjusts sizes as well, and they can't really store clothes in the basement because it's only 1/2 dug out and leaks badly), this was three years after the last day she worked, maybe two years, she had her closet, the closet of the room that used to be my brother in law's room, and the closet in my SO's original bedroom. She kept giving me her clothes that didn't fit, her professional clothes that she no longer needed as she was officially disabled - okay, so she didn't start giving me her clothes until.....we had been married a year and half, when I started needing professional clothes. I THINK she's finally whittled down her clothes some, I hope. She's had to. I KNOW she made a Goodwill dump at least once, when she had to get rid of her deceased mother's clothes. Be grateful you guys aren't female. You would have mothers, or mothers in law, trying to give you clothes, and there's no way to diplomatically tell them, "No, it's ugly." I tried, "No, thank you, it's not my type of style," and she came back and said "You can't afford new clothes, free is your style." Erm, okay. Wow, that was long buried.
  3. Oh, you DO have an ohm meter, other than your APV, right?
  4. I wouldn't be thrilled about a handwritten label from someone you mail order from, either.
  5. I THINK the VTR will go down as far a 1 ohm, which as far as I know, is the lowest any APV will go, right? I was sort of not quite sure about the VTR just based on weight and size, compared to the MPV, but I wish I had gone with the VTR first, before my MVP. Now, I have the VTR - it's easier to use, IMO than the SVD, and I was already used to the box mod from three months + with an MVP. After my surgery on my right thumb, I seriously set my recovery back by using it to trigger the MVP, and that stiff trigger button, but the VTR not only feels better in my hand, the position of the trigger is more natural to me than the SVD (I directly compared them) AND the MVP, and the force required to trigger it is about equivalent to all other APVs I've tried, other than the MVP - which requires about two pounds of pressure to activate, which killed my post surgery thumb the whole majority of the time I would mess up and use my right hand to vape instead of my left.
  6. Oh, Alien Visions, the makers of fine Boba's Bounty, MOST of their juices are completely PG free, the only ones with PG in them have PG in the name, and when it does, it's not a very large ratio, like, I think somewhere around 30 PG/70 VG at the highest of the PG end. Totally forgot about Alien. The only thing is, you can't customize. It's either all VG, or the amount of PG they have formulated. Some vendors are like that.
  7. Okay, I don't know if I'm going to get one now, and see if one of the B&Ms will build a cotton wick coil for me, or if I'm going to wait until my SO feels he is "comfortable enough" building coils to get one so he can build the coil. I'm not looking for sub ohming or anything like that - just an RBA that I could use every day/most of day possibly, and not having problems with leakage (SO says sometimes on some of them if they aren't upright they could leak through the airholes?), to basically at least get ONE of my main vapes away from disposable coils, as I'm tired of switching coils out on those tanks every week - so still normal resistance. Maybe, with time, start replacing my bigger tanks with RBAs, but I just want to start out with one, so I was looking for feedback/ideas, on what a good first one would be (has to be affordable) that meets the "take anywhere" criteria. I sort of looked at the RSST, and the pyrex one linked in the other thread said something about ss mesh or silica wick, but I was thinking more about cotton, although silica/eco wool may be more convenient for the simple fact that it doesn't burn, and if my thinking is right, lasts longer, but the cotton is easier to change out, and it doesn't make a difference in the flavor, right? Any help ya'll can give me would be appreciated.
  8. If she did that, and realized you don't have clothes in there, she'd insist you clean it out so she can put her clothes in there! (sorry, since my sizes *ahem* bounce, I have way more clothes than hubby.....so he's accused me of wanting his dresser space)
  9. http://www.venerablevaping.com/Smoktech-Pyrex-RSST-Replacement-Tanks_p_324.html That's the tank glass itself. Started thinking of an RBA, and this has me thinking about the RSST. I'm making a thread to get people's thoughts.
  10. Ah yes, in the thread didn't you say money wasn't an issue? Last night, ordered my first order order from the VT store! Got crumble cake and caramel, as well as purple pro tank mini.
  11. A lot of the MAJOR ones do, EC Blends being the first that comes to mind, other than my B&M where they mix it up fresh for me. The other sites I've ordered from in the last few weeks were set percentages, so I really don't remember the others that I order from that let you choose your combination. Fadora Vapors, when they open on the 30th, I believe, will have that option as well, at least, I THINK so, but don't quote me.
  12. Like Troy said, I'm surprised you had an issue, and, as with most major vendors, your order goes straight into their system, as in, no one has retype anything, or transfer any information over to the confirmation system or anything. But EC Blends has one of the best reputations out there.
  13. Yeah, I've got a nice tackle box I got from wal mart that holds almost all my stuff vaping related, except for my tanks with my juices. I kept forgetting to put the tanks away, so the the case logic case that SO had given me for when we are going to be out a long time and I want to take more than three juices with me has become my de facto tank storage. It usually held MOST of my tanks anyway, because with my taste issues, I would just pack a whole bunch of tanks into to take upstairs with me when we're watching tv before bed, or when I'm waking him up on the weekend. The rest sit on my desk on a towel. I was SUPPOSED to clean my desk this weekend so I had more room, but I felt so much like crap that I didn't get around to it. Wasn't sleeping, was in a lot of pain (ha! 17 year old tried to argue with me when I told him I had 2 hours of sleep in 36 hours....by that time last night, I wasn't in the mood to hear it, so I yelled at him, and when he stomped out of the kitchen, he told my SO what happened, and my SO was like, "No, she REALLY hasn't been getting any sleep."). Patricia, I really have absolutely no idea what to say on your system, other than if it works for you, stick to it. I would go crazy with it, falling in love with a flavor, and then not vaping it again until I finished the 100 sample bottles I have sitting around. Then again, I've had samples that I couldn't bear to finish, and some samples that I MIGHT finish, but they are still sitting in my cabinet, even though I have free tanks now.
  14. But less resistance also means more battery usage. But resistance is usually personal preference. I prefer a higher resistance. As far as cotton for the wicks, I don't know about how much you used, I would guess if it's not enough, you would get flooding and leaking. Just make sure the wick is plenty wet before you start vaping, and as long as it's wet (which, in a bottom coil it will be), it won't singe, as far as I know.
  15. Hmmm, that's good to know about the burning taste in well used coil. Thanks!
  16. I'm not sure what you mean by hot extracted or cold extracted. As for juice darkening in a tank over the course of a day, yes, I've had that happen. Depending on the voltage/wattage you are vaping at, and how much you use that tank during the day. I THINK, but I'm not positive, that the quality of the juice may make a difference as well, but I can't really say if my local B&M juice is higher quality than the juices I order.
  17. Hi! Congratulations on your trip! I don't know how much you pay in London, and if you've visited the States before, but just be forewarned, prices are higher in Hawaii and Alaska than the rest of the states because of shipping. I mean, in Hawaii, there's no choice for goods to be shipped there by air or by sea, and that's reflected in the price to the consumer. In Alaska, while some parts can be reached by road, you can't drive all the way across the state, so air shipping to parts of Alaska (or boat) is required as well.
  18. Bebop, does that happen with silica wicks as well?
  19. I ALWAYS recommend if you are using stick batteries to have two. Since you can't be positive the battery won't die before you go to bed, so that it can charge overnight, it's better to be safe than sorry, IMO. Plus, well, people go through batteries at different rates.
  20. WTF? They are asking the County Health Department to investigate them? Isn't it enough that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is investigating them? And the County Health Department has neither the time or money to properly "investigate" vaping.
  21. As having been the victim of demonic tank possession before, I agree with Rixter.
  22. I WOULD recommend only using genuine Kanger coils, though. The knock off coils quality is, well, bad.
  23. I am DEFINITELY among the school of you can never have too many back up batteries, or too many tanks. When I first bought all my KPT2s, I was going to relegate my Evods to "sample testers". Nope, just meant there were more tanks that I could fill up. NOT COUNTING the iClear 30s that came with my MVPs and my VTR (which I don't, and probably won't, use), and the Aspires that I bought to try out that I'm not too fond of, I currently have 19 tanks - a mix of Evods, a Davide, KPT2s, and mini pro tanks - both models. This is AFTER my SO dumped about 5, I think, tanks on me - no, it ended up being 4, because he took the black evod back, and I can't even remember why. I keep trying to give him the KPT2 and the iClear 30 that he dumped on me back to him, but he won't take them back......and heck, after all the effort I spent getting the stupid pluid smell out of that KPT2, Darn right I'm gonna keep that bad boy, now. I'll be having a flavor coming in soon that will go in it nicely. Do I have something in all 19 tanks? No. Four are currently empty as I'm whittling away at my stockpile, with two or three more Evods nearing the point of becoming empty. But I'm also in the process of ordering some more flavors for consideration and testing, and I still have some sample bottles sitting that I never bothered to tank up that I could use them on.
