Bump when you get something in vape mail.
spydre replied to Tam's topic in General Vaping Discussion
From the VT Store: Grandma's Original Caramel Crumble Cream Purple Mini Pro Tank From Vapor Beast: 2 15 ml bottles of Kick Ash, because they were out of 30 ml bottles. Now, of course, I'm waiting only on the first package of my four to be mailed, of course it would be the last to get here. And of course, it would be the one with my coils in it. EDIT: Of course. I just checked the tracking on it. AGAIN. For two days it wasn't updated. Seems for some reason it went to Dallas, and is now at the sorting center in Coppell, TX, so I may see it, day after tomorrow? -
I don't know about the clone, but as a rule, I do like vape 101.

You can actually still order, since it's automated, and even when you are looking at something, it will just tell you in the window "will ship x date because of Chinese New Year."

Bump Everytime You Buy Something New
spydre replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
You ordered more of the dna 30s? How many are you planning on building? Hey, do computer parts count? If so, I got a new GPU yesterday (or was it Saturday?). Fan was dying very quickly on this one (it got VERY loud, my SO pulled the GPU out and sent graphics to the on board graphics chip that came on the mobo. Anyway, since my GPU was 2 1/2 years old, and I THINK the boys had even managed to save up enough money to replace their GPUs with something better than mine (and mine was better to begin with), and I game at times, SO decided that a new GPU was the way to go rather than just replacing the fan. And the effects of smoking in my computer? I guess from smoke and tar buildup, the clear case around the fan blades were so yellowed you could no longer see through it. Hitting a vape shop with my sis today, if she's still feeling up to it after a full day at work (hopefully), even the easy stuff. I MIGHT buy a juice or two there, I'm not sure. -
best place for buying an electronic cigarette in Hawaii?
spydre replied to Albert001's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Truthfully, I'm not sure I would order anything I knew was coming from Hawaii. With Fast Tech it's a bit different, because they are somehow able to make it free shipping, although you "pay" for it with the wait to get it. But shipping from Hawaii, I'm sure, is, well, expensive, to say the least. -
That's great news!

Ended up settling on Irish Cream for a good chunk of the day yesterday (considering I got up at 11, about 1/2 the day) and then I guess right before dinner, after I changed the coil out on my Honey Wood, I switched over to that. Currently starting my morning off with Honey Wood again - last night after I refilled my tank, oh, I guess 10 pm or so, it tasted different, or maybe I was picking up on a flavor I'd not picked up on before in there. Anyway, it may be another honey wood/Irish Cream day.....which means I need to evaluate that Irish Cream sample from EC Blends SOON and figure out if I'm going to be ordering from Irish Cream from them, and speed steeping it, or if I'm going to order from Alt Cig again.

What a freaking IDIOT! I'm sorry, I know she's your friend, but you obviously feel the same way. I don't think a little six year old body can HANDLE nicotine, whether it be a ml or a hit. I know some people let their kids have a sip of wine or something, but NOT at six years old, setting up a thought pattern of "oh, that's yummy, I want more, let me get mommy's thing." I'm just......sorry.

Yesterday was purely a 555 day. Right now, I'm vaping AltCig's Irish Cream until my taste buds wake up. Yesterday, I made the mistake of adding 618 to my Honey Wood. It's a mistake I'd evidently made before, but this time, it was too much. Tastes much more 618 than honey wood, and I'm sort of off the 618 for the most part right now. So I'll fix the Honey wood, see if my taste buds want to switch over. Other wise it's Irish Cream or Turkish Honey Tobacco until my taste buds tell me what they want. I'm having another "meh" trend on flavors, so I very well may be switching on and off all day.

Bump when you get something in vape mail.
spydre replied to Tam's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Got one of my three current orders in the mail today. Don't know why the postal service is being so slow on the other two. Today was 8 30 ml glass bottles with eye droppers. -
Awww, Medic, you should have arranged them in size order in the pics! Not taking a picture of my stuff. Probably because there is no surface with enough clear space to both get my stuff on and not have a bunch of stuff in the background (dining room table has become a second desk for my SO, ALWAYS stuff on the kitchen table, and we won't even talk about my desk. But I have: 2 starter eGos that I'm passing on to my sister Monday 1 Smoke Tech Winder 1 iTaste MVP 2.0 1 VTR (my daily driver) And somewhere over 10 tanks - that's not counting the iClear 30s that came with my MVP and my VTR, which I really don't plan on using. And I'll be ordering, likely, a Kayfun Lite/Russian 91% clone after I do some more digging. It's all the juice that would take up all the space in the picture - well, that, and all the tanks. I have a TON of them, including samples I haven't gotten around to dealing with yet (either vaping the remainder or pitching them).

Carter, my nephew works in the garage at the local Ford dealership. He says almost every one of the guys that he works with vapes, and they are allowed to vape in the garage, and he says it smells soooo good in there. Not that he would considering vaping, since he never smoked to begin with.
-
Does that mean I should look for a Kayfun lite clone rather than a russian 91 clone?
-
Wow, Carter, what an ***. Sheesh. Manning, not you.

Kinda new guy, seeking wisdom for pg/vg, nic.

Just wondering, but did you let the juice steep long enough? Also, too much nicotine in a short time can be responsible for headaches, nausea, and heartburn/reflux. -
Wait - so on order, you paid almost $5 for shipping, and yet they paid less than 1/2 of that (probably knowing that actual shipping charge would be more) to ship a package THAT BIG? Was it priority, or just first class? I mean, if it's priority, it's based on the size of the priority package it's in, if it's first class it's based on weight. And THEN you had to cough up an addition sum to get it out of hock at the post office because not only were the additional funds you paid for shipping not applied to the package, but there was still postage due AFTER that amount? Heck, I'm not even sure businesses are ALLOWED to mail out postage due, so my first step would be to contact the Better Business Bureau. I wasn't impressed by the looks of the carrying case anyway, especially for $40. These were my first thoughts of VH when I looked through their site when someone was getting an AR mod from there (evidently they are the only place that carries TAC USA Made - or some brand like that - which leads me to wonder why again. But looking around, there are typos ALL over their site, which, okay, being a professional website, representing a business, is my number one fault for any vendor web page. If you can't proof read it before you up load it, what else are you missing? That's just a, I guess, tic that I have. Holdover from my legal secretary background.

Wizard, are you saying you are using that, or are you talking about your monster SVD?

The stats on minors picking up analogs are going down. But with that, is a rise in vaping. They are stealing what they can out of their parents' stash (how many minors started out smoking). While I've only seen one I've suspected as being a minor in a vape shop once, even though you have to be 18 to enter, they generally don't card people on entry. When she started talking to a guy and wanted to try some flavors (she was with someone else, someone old enough to be her mother, I think so I think she was 18+), he asked to see her ID, and she didn't have it with her, since she didn't bring her purse with her. No ID, she couldn't even taste. Why would minors pick up a full flavored (eg, full nicotine level) cigarette? Depending on their age, they vape what is available to them. I look at vaping in minors from two perspectives. Firstly, I WAS someone who started smoking when I was 15. And I knew which stores would sell to me, and, after I started driving, I had been known to walk a mile to the closest gas station that would sell without carding. I was one of them that when I didn't have a way I could get cigarettes, like when I didn't have a license, I'd steal my dad's smokes - that is, until he came back home one day about three minutes after leaving to catch me smoking. Those early days, yeah, I only smoked when I could get my hands on them. Best way was spending the night at my friend's house, the little walk in store a block away from her house (which was ironically a package liquor store, so you'd think they'd be better about carding) would sell us cigarettes without even blinking - which is when Holly had money, Holly ALWAYS had smokes. But then I look at it from a parental perspective. My kids are 17 and 19 now, and both of them are so demonically opposed to smoking, I know they won't pick the habit up, then again....I mean, how many kids in high school start smoking just because the others in their "group" are smoking and they want to fit in? I know that's how a lot of kids start doing drugs in high school - fitting in with their friends. I doubt I would started if my friends weren't smoking. So they vape, because other people are, and it probably never occurred to them to get 0 nic - those of them that can have other people get it for them.

Haven't tried boiling them....and I know one site recommended sitting it the coffee carafe (I think) and maybe running water through a brew cycle to soak it in really hot water for a while, but I know my SO would NOT be happy with me commandeering the coffee maker for a couple of hours unless it was on one of his FULL days at school (9 - 5).

The good thing is, she smokes Kools, and the shop I'm taking her to tomorrow HAS a "Kewl" flavor. How close it is to the actual analog taste, I don't know - the menthol seemed stronger to me. And truthfully, I can't remember how much of a menthol selection they actually have, so I'm also going to recommend she look at other types of flavors as well for a second bottle, in addition to the tobacco flavor she's bound to get.

For those of you with, um, penile length issues, here's something BIG to show off! Vapor, 3000 mah doesn't necessarily mean all day - I regularly drain two 2000 mah batteries on my VTR (and previously on my Zmax). The only difference was my MVP, which lasted more than 24 hours (but not 48) - that SUPPOSEDLY had a 2600 mah battery built in, but it ran much longer, I had a store owner tell me it must have been secretly a larger mah than what they said.

By the way, Sherman isn't a defensive back, he's a cornerback.
-
Was that before or after Sherman gave the interview to Erin Andrews, or any of the others that he interviewed with? Because he continued saying the same thing in every interview, just not as......LOUD or over the top as he did to Andrews. Word could have easily gotten back to Crabtree what was said, if the interview was prior. If I was Crabtree, and someone told me what he had just said in interviews, I would have slapped him, too.

I think this COULD be because some flavors may not be able to take the temperatures that sub ohming at 3.7 volts puts out. At least, I know my 555 has problems on a 2.5 coil going much above 3.7 volts - it just doesn't like to get that warm, and tastes burned. Has ever since I started vaping the 555 from this supplier.

I know, right? We have such a family history of cardiovascular issues, even without the smoking. And smoking directly contributed to the initial artery blockages in my mom's legs, and probably her aorta as well. Well, there were a lot of factors - which is why I didn't include her carotid blockages a couple of years before that - but that was a direct contributor. We were dealt crappy cardiovascular genes on both sides of the family, and the smoking just increased that. We went from from all five of us smoking in 2000 to me, my mother, and my brother all quit now, and my sister is quitting - hoping that the vaping will work -, so the lone holdout is my dad, who is STILL exceptionally stubborn and if someone asks him, begs of him, recommends to him that he do something regarding smoking, he'll do the opposite just to spite them, lol.
