Just dry burned my davide head to clean it and decided to put cotton over the silica wickwd coil to see what happened. I am blowing out clouds! !!!! I never expected a cotton ball to be the answer. Much more flavor too. I may take the silica out later and put in another cotton strand. Thanks for all the info rixter.

After over a month I will never go back to analogs again. The smell makes me sick. I dont know how I ever dealt with that. I gueas the toxins from my system arw gone because im not coughing anymore. I also do not have that craving I had from analogs. If I cant vape for a few hours no worries. I dont get nic fits as I would say. I have converted to a healthier vaper and will be for a long time. As long as medic keeps making juice I will be a loyal customer.

As per medic's questions. I have a spool of 32g Kanthan A-1 Annealed round resistance wire. I have been trying to make a sort of micro coil. When i would make them before in my nova i got the same result so i just bought more coils. I only wrapped it about 4-5 times. I think this time around i am going to try about 8-9 wraps really tight and hold it together with tweezers while I torch it. After that I will throw it in my coil head and power it up. the way I measure my ohm's is with my multi meter. I put one end in the bottom hole and touch the threads with the other. Just touching the contacts together gives me a .3 ohm so i just subtract that from my reading. I usually get about 2 even. I purchased a bag of organic cotton balls from wally world and have them in a pot boiling now and will dry later. Making my own coils is a new thing to me. Maybe this time I will take some pictures of how I am doing it and post them on here to see if I am doing something wrong. I am really good with electronics, but am struggling with this. I guess its because i dont normally inhale smoke that comes off a circuit board. That would be bad and unhealthy.

I did do that to make sure that my coil was not shorting. I tried with 8 wraps. Im going to go to wal mart and get some cotton balls instead of the embroidery string. Ill fill up my pencil torch to burn up the coil while compressed. I know its not the juice in any sort. I just need practice amd some patience. I have 2 650 knockoff ego batteries. Maybe that is affecting it somehow.

I have been using the original that came with it. I have the means to rebuild it with cotton wick and 32g kanthal. Maybe ill give it a go and see what happens. I have rebuilt the heads on my nova and mt3, should not be too hard. The top of the battery did get wet from juice from a leaking tank, but i cleaned it out. Well i figured out the reason why I try not to rebuild heads. I did what I normally do and did a heating with a lighter to remove the oxidization on the wire. I wrapped it 4 times around a micro screwdriver to create the coil. After getting it to 1.9 ohm I thread thru cotton wick. After putting it all together I let it sit in the juice for about 5 minutes to get the wick soaked. Every hit tastes like metal now. This is so frustrating.

I have my new davide tank and after a while of vaping the vapor goes down. Iys not the juice because I used another tank and its fine. I clean the wicks and dry burn and it still does not help. Im thinking maybe my batteries need replacing over just a month of use. I believe my batteries are knockoffs because they lack the logos Other question is if im looking for another battery should I go with a spinner or all out for an e vic?

Just to edit this. I cannot wait to get my medic juice and try it in this. I am going to be in vaping heaven. Now to see later on today if it is affected by being in the hot tub vaping while im on a weekend getaway.

Just got my Davide Glassomizer and Oh My God!!! Where has this thing been for the last month. I have been using cheap 6 dollar tanks. This thing creates clouds with my 50/50 mix i never got out of those. the flavor I am getting is by far the best I have ever tasted. Most of the time my mt3 tank causes my juice to get darker near the bottom of the tank and I have to empty it about 3/4 of the way thru. This new tank is a beast on a standard ego battery, but i don't care. this thing is awesome.

Im vaping an accident. Had 12mg wild cherry 50/50 and added 6mg mountain dew 80/20 while in a hurry to get to work. It was only 1ml of each but surprisingly it does not taste bad.

Just ordered myself some medic juice. I got taramisu and cinnamon roll. Also waiting on my brand new Davide glassomizer from vaping extreme. Hope ill be vaping by saturday with new gear. These tanks i bought for 6 bucks a piece are starting to not work the way I wanted. Time to buy a quality piece of kit. Just to edit this real quick, i hope i did not screw myself. I checked out the glassomizer again and saw that it is not ego threading. I have an ego manual battery. I hope the small threads on the top are the ones it connects to and it has a ring adapter. Does anyone know?

Quick question. I was sent a bottle of juice I didnt even order from govista. The mix is 80/20. Its worthless on vapor but tastes halfway decent. Its only at 6mg. I would like to put in some vg to up the vapor output on it. I cant find a calculator to see how much to add to it. I know it will drop the levels but I just want to experiment and make like 10ml.

What is the best wick material to use? I have cotton and made the mistake of trying a dry burn.

I found 99.5 glycerine at walmart. Is that right?

This is starting to get out of control with the government. Im sure that as soon as the online stores are set to close (if it even passes) that big tobacco companies will start selling their own for sure. Every huge business has their hand in someone elses pocket anymore. I for one know that this stuff lasts about 2 years on the shelf. I will be stocking up on enough supplies to make at least a years worth of diy juice. they cannot ban the sale of flavorings and ingredients due to the nature of them. I can see the nic being taxed and banned from online sales. I do not believe you can ban the sale of batteries online nor a pv. If anything you can label them as medicinal use only and still be able to sell it. Just some thoughts that I had.

I wanted to play mr wizard and try to mix my own juice. I purchased some flavoring and pg based nic. I know there are a ton of calculators out there, but im confused on one thing. The vg in the juice is what? I have seen people use 100% food grade glycerin from baking shops to the stuff on walmart shelves. the bad thing is that I cant find it online either. Im really confused. Maybe someone can help me get this straightened out. Thanks. forgot to add this but im looking for the most vapor I can out of it. I just love making thick clouds for some reason lol.

Well after reading and viewing this I successfully rebuilt the coil in my vivi nova 10 and my mt3. This can save me so much money by just rebuilding. Now to figure out why the tank on my nova is leaking and i will be set. Thanks again

I figured I would add this question to your thread about the same coil. I I have the MT3 and loved it at first. Now im coming to find the draw is getting really tight, almost like trying to drink a thick milkshake. I let it soak in vodka over night and then dry burned it to see if anything was wrong. I still get the bad draw. I looked into the base and noticed that the holes are at the very top of the threads and probably are mostly covered up by the battery because they are so small. Has anyone tried to drill the holes out on these to make it better? I just got in my kanthal wire to be able to build my own heads so toying around is nothing new to me. Thanks

Thanks for the great tutorial. I have the v10 that i just tried to dry burn and the coil popped. I have the string and just ordered 100ft of the a1-32 kanthal wire. This one is the longer tube type so i hope it works.

I recently had a lan party rent out the hall at my fire department. I had put on the invite sheets that there is no smoking allowed in the hall due to fire dept and boro rules. 3/4 of the people there were chain vaping because they could not smoke. I felt it was great and kinda wished they would stick to that instead of analogs. I wish I would have hung a humidity sensor in the room to see if it changed from 30 or more chain vapers going at once. See what the change in atmosphere is in a large room.

My battery is blank on the bottom, so i guess that means i was sold a fake. I have been using my new MT3 and it is great. The only problem i am noticing is that even though I drink water like a fiend (8+ bottles daily) I still lose the flavor halfway thru my day.

I was doing some digging on the net and I think that my battery is a knockoff. Do the genuine ego type batteries have any telltale logos on them? Mine is completely blank. It also has the light on the button when it is on the charger and comes off already turned on.

I just started a new job yesterday and everyone in the training smokes. The room were in literally makes me want to vomit from the odor. They looked at me a little odd when I pulled out my pv and started asking questions about it. I explained it in short and they all fluffed it off and said it will never catch on. They were amazed when the trainer came in with one in his hand. We were both at the table vaping while the smokers were twitching watching us.

I just got in my MT3 and gave it a shot with a sample of gummyocalypse from vape naked. I got the mt3 from the vaportalk store. Compare this tank to the vivi nova and there is no comparison. The amount of vapor that comes out of this is amazing.

I just went back to the cherry flavor and forgot it was 12mg instead of the 6 i am used to right now. It slapped me right in the face and now im nauseous and stuff. I only took 2 draws from it too. I don't think this cherry was to make it my way. I guess i ordered it for nothing. Then again maybe im just a little dehydrated, who knows.

Well i decided to try the sour berry that i bought samples of and it was disgusting. I dont know if it was due to a little bit of a used coil, but it tastes like rancid sour patch kids. Never will I do that again.
