Totally Wicked sells the Tornado/eGo/Riva in red: http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/tornado-e-ni-accessories/regular-products.html I linked the 650MAH version but they are available as 1000Mah as well.

I have young kids and as nobody really knows, I make a point to go to another room and not vape in front of them. Because they are young children (3yrs and 7 months) I also am discreet about it as they are impressionable. However, safety and security first, I just go into another room, it sure beats going outside. I don't think it would be very much but I don't know so I prefer to do it safely.

I really love mine as well, I have one of these portable USB power sources and I can use it anywhere and reduce the wear on my batteries. This model is discontinued but I am sure there are others. these are great for traveling and will provide 5V power to anything that takes a USB connection. http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=UPB10

I do vape in my office, openly. Many have asked about it and some have converted to e-cigs as well by talking with me about it. In one case, a person was up for a promotion but apparently had to stop taking smoke breaks to be considered. The Director told him to come see me to get one of those "electronic things" to control his withdrawals. I too am pleasantly surprised by the tolerance, particularly in a corporate environment but if you ever visit our office, don't be surprised to see plumes of vapor coming out from some of the cubicles. It cracks me up every time.

I have never had one "die" per se so I am sure the cartos could have kept going along. As a rule of thumb, after 15-20ML of juice (at 4.35 Volts), I replace them. For me, that translates roughly into a week. So, a 5 pack of cartomizers last me a over a month. A 5 pack of cartos is similar to 1 atomizer in price. I rarely get more than 1 month use out of an atomizer, when used regularly. From my personal experience, cartomizers are more efficient than atomizers. If I were to keep cleaning/massaging the cartos until death, I suspect they would be far more efficient. I haven't had much success cleaning cartomizers and for about $1.60 ea, it doesn't bother me to just retire them after 20MLs consumed. I use cartomizers when at work/driving/traveling and still prefer atomizers when at home. I use both and think they compliment each other quite well depending on situation.

I did have a similar experience with the LR cartos, they didnt last very long until they became hard to draw on and production diminished. They are a lot more convenient than dripping on LR atties when traveling but that is the only time I can justify using them. When the 10 I bought are gone, I will not reorder, I was not very impressed with them.

Poll: What Will You Do If They Ban Ecigs?
Burn replied to Jkimbo's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
My plan is #1. It would be disingenuous of me not to mention that as far as I am concerned, the ban is already in effect, for all intents and purposes. I have supplies for the next 24 months. Other than a few "luxury" buys, here and there, I don't think i will make many, if any, more purchases. I do plan on getting one more specialized PV that is in development but even if that never comes to market, I have enough backups to make it for a couple years. I use pretty light strength juice 6-12 ml and once the supply is gone, I will be done with nicotine altogether. -
Same experience here, TW has been AWESOME and consistent, I have placed 14 orders since I started vaping in April. Now, I did receive some shipping notices recently (last 3 weeks) that the USPS didnt update AT ALL until it arrived to me. The tracking said that it was received electronically and that was all. Then it arrived a few days later. I am not sure if this is the issue or not but you may want to consider USPS being behind on their processes.

LOL If your not the type of control freak that HAS TO KNOW, as I am, simply turning it to get to where you like it works very well.

IF you dont have a multimeter, you can buy a DVM from VaprLife. I have both and the DVM is just as accurate as the multimeter and is more convenient. a full turn (360 degrees) = roughly .2 V, although this does change slightly depending on where the voltage is currently at. http://vaprlife.com/jokerdvm.html

LMAO, I had the same anticipation. The mailbox is about 100 ft from my house, I stopped when I was driving through, busted open the package, inserted batteries and added atomizer and then drove the final 100 ft in regulated voltage bliss.

How Often Do You Fill Your Cartomizer?
Burn replied to Christopher's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I tilt mine so that it runs down the side of the drip tip, similar to pouring a beer, this way it goes into the filler and not the main post. I rarely, if ever, have leaks. -

Interesting to see the responses, I am identical with Brian, 10 drops every 45 minutes or so at HV. -
The guest or the e-cig?

I have owned both and have been running variable/regulated voltage exclusively since June, I won't go back. I don't think you can go wrong with either the Buzz or the Joker, I prefer the Joker purely on size and aesthetic reasons and have not had any issues with either of the 2 Jokers I own. My Buzz was a fine device and I didn't have any problems with it either. I think as long as you go variable, you will have the most flexible and consistent experience available. (fist pack isnt variable, it uses 4 pre sets, the turbo has a real shallow battery capacity. The SaberTouch is apparantly going to be av but it looks like it is made from garden equipment.

Info on PEG: http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/eliquid-mixing-accessories/polyethylene-glycol-peg-400-product.html I first picked up some back in May. Not bad but I dont use it at 100% in juices, I use it as an additive to VG/PG blends. It does have increased vapor production than PG does and isnt as thick as VG. Honestly, I could live without it and don't plan to reorder when my current supply runs out. Besides using it as a component of my juice, I use it for removing primer from atties and periodic attie cleaning/maintenance but it not any more effective than PG is at that task. It really isn't a big deal or ALL THAT different from PG. It does produce thicker vapor but has a terrible taste if it is all PEG. It is a nice additive but isnt essential, IMHO.

I drip in the evenings, when I am at home and I don't have nay messes. Never more than 3 drops and never drip until the sweetness is gone from the vape. That is what I learned when I started with the joker, how to drip and never have a mess. With either choice, you are going to be thrilled, both of these are excellent devices. If the drip well is that big of a deal, go with the Buzz. It really is about what is important to you.

Interesting, I would like to try them. Do they come in Magnum size?

Update On The Njoy Vs. Fda Court Case Today
Burn replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
regardless of the ruling, the FDA would still be the regulator and I don't recall anything that specifically states why tobacco regulation would be better than drug delivery device other than it would be "less restrictive". Does anybody know specifically the benefit of being a tobacco product as far as FDA involvement goes? I would think (but don't know) that their first step in either scenario would be to remove them from the market. -
I owned both the BUZZ and the Joker (both reviews on this site). I like both of them but the feel and appearance of the Joker was more appealing to me. The well was an issue for me as I had a lot of leaks to. It really forced me to be a cleaner dripper, not really a bad thing but the occasional drips is irritating. The Joker device feels alot better to me holding it. Performance is the same. After using the button for a few months, I prefer this style much more than the eGo button or the silver bullet button. I carry the device around in my pants pocket a lot and it hasnt fired yet. I almost bought a sabre touch once but the end caps look to be made from garden hose end caps, that really turned me off. Everyone is different and you are asking by posting so I will say that the Joker fit my needs so well, I bought a second one as my backup device. Other than the drip well, I don't have a single complaint. Not too excited about the turbo as I am not thrilled about the batteries but it does look a lot more compact.

Appeals Court May Sidestep E-Cig Key Issue - Argument Thurs
Burn replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
If I am completely honest with myself and remove my bias as a vaper, I cant see how an e-cig can NOT be considered a drug delivery device. I sure want it classified as a tobacco product as that furthers my personal desire. The drug nicotine is derived from tobacco but it is a drug and the e-cig is used to deliver that drug. I think it is difficult to argue that and e-cig is a delivery device. If I were the FDA, I wouldn't be too concerned with the case either. -
Best Atomizer To Use With 6 Volt Devices
Burn replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I tried other atties on 6v and I really didnt like any of them. That is why i think a variable device is a better buy. You can run your cartos as 5v or 6v and then pull it back to 4.5 V for 510 atties. I know others have had success with 801 and 901 as well as variants but I didn't have that much success with them. The 801 are so freaking huge too. It may work for you as it has for others but I couldn't find a combo besides changing voltages that worked for me. 6v also seems to "pop" 510 atties very quickly in addition to burning up the flavor. -
Panic and haste often leads to regret. There is plenty of time to prepare and put a plan together. Let's say for instance that liquid is hard to find by end of year. How much would you need? How much could you store? What flavors or types? In my opinion, that is the phase we should be in right now. Planning and preparing. Placing small orders from suppliers you may want to buy in bulk and formulating a written plan and examining it frequently. I placed an order with Health Cabin today (Chinese supplier) to get some extras and try some flavorings I may want to use. I dunno, I think it is far too early to panic and start buying stuff. Even if a cease notice was issued tomorrow, suppliers would still need to get rid of their stock. I don't think it is possible for it all to dry up in a few days/weeks. With that being said, I do personally believe that a day will come where it will become very difficult or expensive to obtain. Then the government will come out with their approved and taxed devices and it will become plentiful again yet still expensive. :/
