Quality is very good and reliable and they run out promos like the one Sharon referenced that make it a good buy too. I have purchased 450ml from them so far over 4 orders and they are very consistent. I wouldn't buy from anyone else.

which one did you get/want. I wanted a 2.4 and had to settle for a 2.8. I will gladly trade if you have a 2.4

I use both the standard 510 (2.2) and cartomizers (3.2) but prefer the standard 510. LR isnt necessary and quite frankly is a waste with this unit, IMHO. The Chrome finish is matte so there is not any fingerprint issues. If you dont mind the size/weight issues, the 18650 is the way to go, very long life, 12 -16 hours for me and I am a heavy vapor. the unit however is quite heavy. This may not be an issue for you once you get used to it but it is the heaviest e-cig device I have carried around. I find the biggest issue of menthol is strength, too harsh or too weak can make a great juice unpleasant or unsatisfying. What I do is I dont buy menthol e-juice very often at all. I buy very concentrated menthol liquid and add it to the juice. This way, everything comes in menthol and you can tailor the strength exactly to your liking. It is very strong and 3 drops per 10 ml is a good starting point for a light menthol flavor. Just remember it is very strong and to only add a drop or 2 at a time until you get it the way you want it.

Great they are adding colors, may pick up a black one. One correction on the Joker, the current models shipping also have drip wells. When I purchased my repair for the Joker last week, I requested that they put the drip well on it. They also change switches and colors, upon request with any repair (paid). Naturally, you choose the body/light color for the Joker when you order it.

I think, first and foremost, a variable voltage mod should be the priority. this will allow you to adjust the device to your liking and find the combination that works best for you. In addition, you will find that you no longer will notice the performance deteriorating over the charge of a battery. VV mods maintain the same voltage all the way through. The Omega and Prodigy will not offer that for you. I own both the ProVari and Joker. The Joker is less expensive to get started with (119 for device/battery and charge kit, + 17 for voltage reader) than the provari (159 for device, additional 40 for batteries and charger, additional 20 if you want the 18650 batteries). approx $140 vs $200/$220 The Provari does offer longer battery life than the Joker. I am a heavy vapor so the results are specific to me but is all relative. The Provari with 18500 battery lasts me 7-10 hours, the 18650 lasts me 12 -16 hours. The Joker batteries last me 4-6 hours. As long as you have the backup batteries charged, like any other e-cig, it is just a matter of how often you have to change the batteries. The Joker is considerable smaller in width than the Provari. The Provari is much heavier than the Joker, by a wide margin. As far as appearance, I think they are both attractive, the Joker comes in many colors, Provari 1. As far as function, they are both similar in what they do, the Provari does have a built in voltmeter and ohm reader for the atomizer resistance and the voltage is changed though clicks of the ignition button. The Joker requires a multimeter or voltage meter (listed in the pricing)and a screwdriver to change the voltage. From my experience, once you find a voltage you like, you rarely change it. I don't think I have changed voltage in 6-8 months, once I found my preferred settings. They both perform the same, they apply a set amount of voltage to the atomizer and it is consistent. The performance itself is identical. There is a big difference in warranties, the Provari is 1 year while the Joker is 90 days. I have sent my Provari back twice now and they returned it promptly and were very pleasant. I only had one repair with the Joker and I did have to pay for it ($36 repair + shipping). Both companies were great to work with and when I had issues, they called me to discuss. I love both products and use both, I find the Joker easier to carry around but the Provari is a endurance beast (18650 batteries, that is). If you are very cost conscious, the Joker may make a better value. The only repair I have had was from a long fall on concrete. The 2 Provari repairs were for a programming issue and a malfunction. I think the big difference is in size. Some may say that the Provari has more built in features, which I agree with, but in the end the features (built in voltage voltage adjuster and battery/resistance meter) are convenient to have but I personally do not access them very often so I dont find them critical to the enjoyment of the product. There ya have it, a comparison of the 2 leading (In my opinion) variable voltage devices, through my experience. Good luck.

About a year ago, I was publically salivating over the Precious, a small 18650 style mod that features a tough switch and other features. I was able to use one at a meet and I loved it but my order never arrived. Ceasar, who creates the mod, has been in development of the v2 for AT LEAST 8 months. Finally, after many delays and issues, the first orders were released. The delays were so frequent, I stopped even mentioning them here. Now, the first batch has been shipped, this is a VV mod, similar to the ProVari but does not have an on screen display. What you will want to see about this is the automated juice dispenser. It looks good and apprantly works great and holds 3ML juice. The price is > $200.00 so it probably wont be a popular buy around here but I think just seeing it in action would be fun. Enjoy

Same story here as Brian, 20 ml a week, get 12-16 hours from a battery. A very good device and you will love the ability to 1) adjust voltage and 2) have consistent performance throughout the long battery life. I will warn you, however, it is a VERY heavy device @ 18650. I also have the 18500s as well and I find they also last a good amount of time (8-12 hours) and is smaller and lighter than the 18650. I am getting used to the 18650 but normally use those on weekends and during the week, when I am traveling or working, i prefer the smaller, lighter build. If the weight and size get to you, just know you have another option. The end cap for the 18500 will come with the unit so all you would need to get is a pair of batteries if you want that flexibility. You will not be disappointed.

I first noticed in the Continental Airline magazine last June that the use of e-cigs was prohibited. I fly at least 3 times a month and pretty much weekly and I have never had a problem with taking them on the plane in my pockets. For me, this article is nothing new and probably the main reason they are prohibited is that it freaks people out. So glad that I don't smoke anymore, not vaping for a few hours is hardly a concern.

What did they say when you asked them about the 2 "replacements"?

I said 2-4, even if it is for fun, I do think it is relevant if the MG level is considered. I vape 12MG but if I had 24, I would vape a lot less (I hope).

It has been a while, not since I sent the one I had to you, point taken. I am currently googling one of those tractor-trailer weigh stations to find out exactly how much it weighs. =)

Also received mine today, about an hour ago. The juice sample (fruit punch) was a nice touch and the first few tastes of it were pretty good too. Will be awhile before I form a reliable opinion but it works exactly as described. It is really heavy compared to a joker and quite a bit wider still not as wide or heavy as the Silver Bullet I used to have was. Vaping like a champ right out of the box.

I dont like posting negatives about juice because taste is so subjective. However, I will say that I ordered from Gourmet Vapor and none of them worked for me AT ALL, I do believe it was a quality issue more than taste but even that can be a personal bias. When I sold something to someone (cant recall) I stuck 45ml of this juice in the bag as a freebie. It didnt work for me either and I found many that worked until I came across my all day vape. Keep sampling and you will find it too. Don't be surprised if in a few months, when your tastes adjust to not smoking youll be looking for something else. Personally speaking it too me 5 months to find the right rotations for me. This is not uncommon as you can see from the other posts but you should be able to find something you like. I do really like Dulcis and it is very popular, probably the juice I have seen the least amount of poor reviews from.

Not convinced it will necessarily be better, trying to avoid the hype to keep expectations realistic. Will know in a couple of days...

FWIW, order 3416 (provari order) ship notification was received on 1/13/11. Order was placed on 12/25 so that is just under 3 weeks when the lead time was 4-6 at purchase. It appears they are catching up very quickly.

as mentioned above, the taste is likely primer. I like to keep some straight PG around in reserve that I use to push the primer out. You drip about a 1/2 ML (10 drops) into the atty, right in the raised bridge and hole in the then blow it through the hole in the bottom when not connected to a battery. This is for any atomizer, not just LR. I do not recommend using anything besides PG or VG, certainly not water. Works very well for me and I find that PG makes a great atty cleaner.

I have been using regulated voltage mods since June and I have never once had a bad or inconsistent hits at all. Not even for short periods of time. Never. This spans 3 different models. Once in a while the resistance of an atty will shoot up to 6.0 or much greater, just as the atty was about to die but other than those expected occurrences, the devices are impeccably consistent. I am all for new mods and new takes on ideas, that is the catalyst of product development. I am, however, suspicious of any device that makes claims that are not consistent with established physics. Similar to the unfounded claims of IMR batteries in basic devices (was the rage last spring/early summer), I think these claims are counter to strong product development. Will and Frank beat me to but as someone familiar with Joules law, I also call shenanigans.

Which Manufacturer/Supplier did you get this from? Did you discuss this with them? As mentioned above, taste is very subjective. There are plenty of flavors out there that I am not very fond of and they are not for me. I certainly wouldn't make a statement as harsh as the OP. What is the point of this post? You found a flavor you didnt like? I can assure you it will happen again.
