This is another reason, I do not care for Loranns flavorings. Not only are they very thin but they require sweetening for many flavors and the ones that are sweetened are sugar based which will wind up in the atty. Gdub is spot on with the Ethyl Matol but I have found that it reaches its saturation point rather quickly before providing enough sweetness. What Ethyl Matol does do on its own, very well IMHO is remove bitter or harsh tastes from a liquid. I prefer to use this in conjunction with Ethyl Matol http://capellaflavordrops.com/capellasimplysweetconcentratedliquidsweetener.aspx It is liquid splenda and from my use it does not seem to leave much of a residue on the atty. Sweetening Loranns can be rather tricky, this is another reason why I prefer using decadent vapours concentrated flavourings. They are already have well balanced sweetness and are made to be atty safe.

that is a terrific point that I did leave out. I have been using a variant of what you suggested. I use a syringe to mix my PG/VG ahead of time for the percentage i like (65/35VG) the drops are very close to both the flavor and liquid. I am a bit of a control freak so I measured the same amount of drops for 5 ML of all ingredients seperately and they were < 5% off, I called that good enough an have been doing it in drops as I do make small amounts (6ML). With such a low nic level (8mg) measuring for that size is pretty rough. Mixing Madness, indeed.

this happens to me from time to time. Wasabi or Jalepenos often does the trick for me but the most reliable way for me is to chew a strong mint gun (Extra wintergreen, spearmint or peppermint are my preferences. Considering how you smelled when you actually smoked and couldnt taste residual flavors in your mouth, this is a pretty nice problem to have.

I beleive it is far cheaper to DIY. My recent calculations has me at $.13 per ML, please bear in mind, I am at 8MG strenght, even 24MG would be under $.50/ml Startup cost really isnt that bad. All you really need is dropper bottles ($.79/ea for 2dram size), rubber gloves and pipettes for transferring liquid. My Original start up costs (equipment) was under $20 For materials, I use 100MG base liquid that I get for $99 for 250ML, at 8MG strength and consuming 5ML per day, that is almost a 2 year supply. PG or VG is fairly inexpensive (make sure it is USP)as well. Many can find it locally, I just get it from online vendors. Flavoring was the key, I did not like Loranns oils very much or capellas flavorings. What I did find is that I LOVE Decadent Vapours, which is sold over at TW (Totally Wicked). Putting the mixes together is not any more complicated that being able to count drops. You have 3 basic ingredients, liquid nic, flavoring and a dilutent. You count the drops of the 3 to make the mix. You DO want to be careful and respectful of the liquid nic power. As long as you are not reckless or sloppy about it (I make my mixes in my kitchen sink) you can be very safe. I don't have an issue with the ECF policy at all. I do believe that the e-cig industry DOES need regulation and standards. I would also submit that not having regulations in this area is one of this industry's greatest vulnerabilities. Regulation is often considered oppressive but in fact, it is more often protective of the industry/consumer. (Energy in Cali, anyone?) A responsible community will try to set standards and this is what I believe ECF is doing. Do not be desensitized by the fact you work with e-juice every day. The base is certainly a harmful poison and can be very dangerous. All it takes is one overdose of a minor or god forbid, someone using straight liquid nicotine as a poison to kill someone/thing and this industry would become a major target. I firmly believe that consumer irresponsibility or nefarious acts are a far bigger threat to this industry than the ignorance of politicians.

Jeff and Snubber already presented the comments I was going to make. I did the same exact thing, bought just the batt,cone and charging adapter to try it out. I no longer change batteries during the day. I charge it up each night when I get home and use the passthrough. After a week, I was convinced that this was the way to go and I went and bought the full kit from Chris. A friend of mine was also impressed seeing me with it and bought 2 kits from Chris on Monday, for him and his wife. I think your next logical step is the ego. You can keep using your 510 items (charger,attys) and upgrade to a much longer lasting battery.

I don't believe that the presentation shown in the video really had much to do with the vote. I do believe this vote was decided in the prior weeks by lobbyists, this is typically the case before these type deliberations. The force that is trying to stop e-cigs is pretty much playing this by the book, per the modern standards of politics. They begin with one state and use that win to leverage for more until there are enough states to warrant serious federal discussion. It began and was stalled in California and moved to New York (and elsewhere). The force against e-cigs in NY is not an assembly member presenting bogus facts or any one person in that room. Unfortunately, the guiding force of this legislature is a very powerful special interest group that has been influencing legislation far before anyone on these forums even picked up their first analog. I am not trying to be a downer here, please believe that, I am trying to help identify the real enemy. I will sign and support any method to assist in this cause. I will suggest to anyone to listen that as you fight, you should also begin to reduce your dependency on nicotine. Switch down to a lighter juice until you no longer need nicotine. Losing e-cigs will hurt all Americans with another lost freedom. Losing e-cigs when you are hooked will hurt you. What I am encouraging is an action to mitigate your personal discomfort so you will be around longer (not have to go back to analogs) to keep up this very good fight.

It's funny how tastes differ, Cinnacide was too tame for me and I have added straight cinnamon oil to pep it up... Some advice from my month or so at it: 1) dont even open another atty from its package until you are really ready to put the atty in the atty hospital, you want to keep them primed. If you have PG, unflavored or a bland juice, place a few drops on the retired atty and keep in zip lock bag. 2) exception to rule #1, I use 2 attys, one for powerful flavors like cinnacide and menthol and the other for everything that isnt too mellow. Just my observations from my first month.

Mine just arrived today and yes, it is surely tighter but I am not sure if it is "too tight". I have a bad habit of trying to take "bong hits" off a PV so this actually slowed me down a bit. I noticed that 3 drops on this atty doesn't last as long as a standard but that is to be expected. The payoff is well worth it. The extra vapor is very noticeable and the taste did not change nearly as much as I expected. 18MG homebrew: (patinum ice,55/25 PG/VG and 20% Tiramisu from Decadent Vapours. Taste held up nicely although it is about 15% weaker flavor. going to make a new batch with 5 or 7.5% flavor increase. LR on an ego, quite impressed during the first hour.

I really like Vapor Fiend's template for reviews. Presuming he doesn't object, I will use this for mine. Very nice for reading. Ms. T Baker Essentials (http://mstsbakery.com) is a "hand made" e-liquid shop. Ms. T (Tammy) makes all of these herself upon order, similar to tasty vapors. Her service is excellent. Not knowing this was a one person shop, I called the customer service number (hoping to not get routed to China) to inquire about the flavors and Ms.T answered. She walked me through her menu and made some suggestions. I bought 12 total flavors, some fruit, some desserts, a coffee and some mints. Available in 6, 10 and 15 ML, reasonably priced for hand made mixes. Here is a review of the 6. 24MG PG/VG mix (currently only available as her PG/VG blend) Overall: Personal tastes are going to vary as well as performance. I have vaped at LEAST 3 ML of each that were reviewed. These were all done on a Standard 510, without any mods. While the appeal of the flavors do vary as well as my impressions I do stand firm in one area. The e-juice is of high quality and you can tell it was made shortly before shipping. Many stock brands are sitting in a warehouse for months before delivery. You can tell the difference in the quality of a made to order liquid. Red Hot Cinnamon Sticks: Smells very good and the taste is certainly cinnamon. It was very good when I first tired it but after a ml or 2 it felt somewhat weak. I didn't notice any real aftertaste. It is a bit sweeter than I hoped but I love strong cinnamon, like red hots or hot tamales. this is more along the lines of cinnamon gum. I did finish the 6ml bottle and I found other alternatives I like better so I will buy those. If you like cinnamon gum or flavored toothpicks, I would recommend this for that taste. Atomic Fireball fan? Keep on looking. Score: Smell= 8, Taste=8, Vapor Production=5, Throat Hit=6. Grade: B- Peach: Tastes and smells more like a fruit blend but not peach. The flavor was o.k. but not great. I also had Apricot and it tasted very similar to that. The Fruit flavors I was seeking was almost jolly rancher strong. This peach is very sweet and really didn't have a distinguished peach taste. Not only was it not what I had expected but it really did not taste that appealing to me. I did finish the 6ml bottle but wont buy this again. Score: Smell=5, Taste=4, Vapor Production=6, Throat Hit=6. Grade: C- Blueberry Muffin: The smell is excellent and fruity. The taste is sensational. What a pleasant surprise. I had heard this was good and the real product exceeded that. It really tastes like a warm blueberry muffin. The muffin and blueberry are not distinct flavors, which is a good thing. The flavors are well blended and come across as one flavor, just as the muffin does. Inhale is mostly sweet the real payoff is the exhale. Complex flavors but really blended as one pastry would be, Outstanding! A premium breakfast/dessert vape. I highly recommend this flavor. So good when I have it with my morning ice coffee. Score: Smell=9, Taste=10, Vapor Production=8, Throat Hit=6. Grade: A+ Wintergreen: Wintergreen is one of my favorite flavors of candy/gum and I was really looking forward to this one. Smell is very faint, almost no smell. Taste on inhale is not sweet and a bit medicinal. Exhale is rather bland with a faint wintergreen taste and medicinal aftertaste. My expectations were high but even with moderate hope, it just didn't have much flavor. I could not get through 2Mls of it. I did add some Ethyl Maltol to it to reduce the aftertaste and add some sweetness. I also added some Loranns wintergreen and some sucralose (liquid splenda) and I got it pretty close to what I was hoping for. The aftertaste was lessened but still there. I was very disappointed and surprised this was the same maker as the other juices I received. I cant recommend this to any fan of the flavor. It could be just the mix but the other mint flavors I tried had the same issues. Score: Smell=3, Taste=2, Vapor Production=4, Throat Hit=4. Grade: F Butterscotch Pudding: The smell is quite good and I could pickup on the butterscotch right away. The taste is very good, overall. Inhale is sweet with some butterscotch. Exhale is all butterscotch and cream, pretty simple makeup. It is a single flavor and I couldn't help but wonder if it was better as a multi flavor, with chocolate for instance. It is more creamy, like pudding than it is a candy. I think it is very pleasant and would satisfy a butterscotch palette. I would buy again. Score: Smell=8, Taste=9, Vapor Production=6, Throat Hit=5. Grade: B+ French Toast: I am not a huge fan of French Toast, as many are but I did like it enough to try it for variety.The smell is very good and accurate, strong maple smell. The taste was a very big and pleasant surprise for me. Inhale is sweet with strong maple. Exhale is a terrific blend of maple, bread, butter and even cinnamon. I am amazed, once again how much it tastes like a baked product instead of a menu of flavors you would associate with the confection. The Maple is strong and I am sure that is intentional and loved by most. I am not a huge maple fan so I couldn't vape it all day. The quality and accuracy is unavoidable, even for someone, like me, who orders this breakfast twice a year, if that. Score: Smell=10, Taste=9, Vapor Production=8, Throat Hit=8. Grade: A- Bonus Flavor: T's Morning Blend: This is not an available flavor on the site, in fact Ms.T doesn't even know it by that name. When I called her shop, I asked her what was her favorite flavor. Of course, she didn't have one... I asked her what was in her e-cig right now. She said "a 50/50 mix of Butterscotch Pudding and French Toast". I also tried the mix and it is really, really good. The flavors mix quite well even though the butterscotch loses its creaminess. The Maple flavor become more of an accent and this combination, in my opinion, is better combined that the 2 flavors alone. This blend is just a hair below blueberry muffin as my favorite from Ms. T. An all day blend, great in the morning, with your coffee that I really recommend. Score: Smell=9, Taste=10, Vapor Production=8, Throat Hit=7. Grade: A Summary: The quality of these juices, even the ones I didn't care for were very good. I think DIY liquid makes a difference and if you want to see what I mean, try a place like Ms. T that does make these fresh juices from good flavorings. She defends her home turf very well, the bakery items are uncanny and this is what i will associate this vendor with. The fruits are fair and the mints were unusable to me, without modification. To be fair, most don't offer mint flavors (sans menthol) for probably a good reason. I wish every discerning vapor lover could get a pull of the Blueberry Muffin, it really is remarkable, even if you don't like the pastry very much. I like this distributor and will reorder the unique bakery flavors from Ms.T again.

I also bought the cinnacide and I have the Loranns cinnamon oil, which I found in the baking/spice section of a grocery store (Kroger). I liked cinnacide but oddly enough, I didn't think that was even strong enough or had a throat kick. I augmented it with a 1:8 mix of cinnamon oil to cinnacide and it is VERY strong now, which was my desired effect. There is now quite a TH kick to it as well. I have not noticed any ATTY problems with any of my cinnamon concoctions but there are so many variables in atty health, who knows? I love it, not as an all day vape but a great change of pace vape. One other thing, Cinnamon seems to really clings to the atty, I put my cinnamon in my "menthol" atty. I would not advise using it in an atty that you use for softer flavors. (i.e. just about anything else)
