I do have access to one, I can test with that. Still, the flashing green light is now bugging me, it MUST mean something, mustn't it?

This may be the wrong area for this topic but I have noticed that my eGo's are taking over 6 hours to charge of the rapid USB charger. I bought a second eGo kit as a gift and tried that charger, 8 hours as well. I have a total of 4 batteries, 2 tornado and 2 eGo and they are all over 6 hours to charge. Today, I took my battery and charger to work to see if it could be the power source in my home. I am now at hour 4 wathing the charger and it is still not green. I did notice that the charge will be solid red, solid red with a flash of green and then solid green. Does anyone have the eGo manual and can tell me what the red with flash of green is? I am now wondering if that means charged but now on trickle charge and green is completely full. Any insight would be cool. The 6 hours is not really a bother to me but it is driving me crazy to know that something is not working as I expected and I do not know why!!!

Everything Cisco mentions for the mod does make sense although I also feel less is usually more. However, I do realize that PVs in and of themselves is an emerging technology and we could very well be looking back at this thread in a couple of years and be laughing about the "primative caveman mod" that Cisco rolled out in the summer of '10.

this was a tough choice as I regularly vape all types besides tobacco. If I did have only one I could vape, it would have to be a coffee type of flavor. If anyone were able to replicate the taste of my favorite flavor, scotch, That would have to go into the poll.

Video To Pass For Awareness
Burn replied to Smyvapor's topic in Vaping Legislation & Regulation News
very well done, smy. nice use of footage and it is very graphically pleasing, subtle graphics are so effective when used correctly. -
pg/vg mix should be a response in the poll. I think it would be the most popular option.

I also am confused about the threats, I don't see them in this email chain. I don't work in customer service but I do get the nasty ones escalated to me and I have seen a whole lot worse. In fact, from this chain, john doe seems to be very upset but very much in control. Were the threats and bullying edited out? -
I may make an assumption here so I will apologize ahead of time. If you are 18 or older and your parents ground you or wont allow you to make a small credit card purchase. I do apologize for making a statement that does not apply to you. If you are indeed 18 or older and getting grounded by your parents, as a token of my sincere regret, I can refer you to some terrific therapists that you may seek out in the future. If you are under 18, it is illegal for you to purchase electronic cigarettes as it is with tobacco based cigarettes. Not only will you cause risk to yourself with the law but you will also cause risk to the vendor that irresponsibly or unknowingly sold these to you. The electronic cigarette industry has been under fire for underage users of this product and these sales to minors are being leveraged to ban electronic cigarettes altogether. For the sake of the people that enjoy or depend on these devices to rid themselves of tobacco, I kindly urge you not to purchase these devices. On a personal and humanitarian note, Picking up nicotine in the form of tobacco is one of the stupidest decisions i have ever made and I have made some doozies. I suspect there are others on this forum that feel the same way about the horrible day when they smoked for the first time. If you can stop now, please do, I assure you, avoiding very addictive nicotine now will all you to avoid writing a forum post like I am in the future when you reach your 30's good luck!

the case is o.k. I can take it/leave it but the protective cap for pocket use is long overdue! I really hope that is sold separately.

I don't have the spade but I do the eGo. Using the new cartos from VT, the draw is HELLA tight, and I don't mean "hella tight" that was cool to say 10 years ago. I mean, it is VERY hard to draw from. The air holes that are with the threading seem to me to be too far down. With a normal atty, I can usually see the holes and they line up against the notches in the atty housing. With these cartos, the hole is below the notches when the atty base makes contact with the batt. When I remove the cone from the atty, it is VERY good, very nice draw and surprisingly good vapor production. The taste is also very nice. i also noticed that if I had the cone on and I was careful to keep my lips off the end of the cone, it was better but still rather tight. The issue with that method is that there is only 1/2" of the carto sticking out of the cone. Doable but not really comfortable. I testing this out on some VT cappucino juice and a fully charged eGo batt.

one very fun option to try is MS.T's baker essentials. All her juices are made to order (read:fresh) and are of good quality. I really only have liked the bakery style juices and not as much for the fruits and mints. http://www.mstsbakery.com/ I would recommend looking in the e-liquid review area of this forum for a nice selection of e-liquid suggestions. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/167-e-liquid-reviews-new/

I will give a full review and answer questions about it in a few weeks when I have it. However, from what I am told, it is dependent on how much of the sensor your finger covers. If you read his future mod plans (called precious - u) he is coming up with ideas of how to put a menu on a VP so you can set the voltage precisely. Ideas have ranged from tapping the sensor to indicate a value to a usb adapter that you plug the device into that allows you to control it through a PC app. It's fun stuff to read up on.

I personally do not want to EVER touch the atty with anything but liquid. I use some juice to clean it. I draw in but do not inhale to clean. Still doesnt taste great but that bridge is rather sensitive and I wouldnt want to get lint of any type on it. (I am that way wiht most electronics, so take my advice with that in mind)

I really am starting to beleive that variable voltage will be a huge thing in the next few months. Everyone in VT chat is probably sick of hearing about it but one of the main reasons I am infatuated with "the precious" mod is that it has an electronic touch sensor swith that is variable voltage. A demo of the variable voltage can be found here: http://theprecious.ro/home/history/ (the video is the 3rd listed on the page) Regardless of what you think of this mod, I think the idea of variable voltage is a very cool one. 5 or 6v is probably a bit too much for me all the time. The idea of having it available to me at anytime is a real nice idea. I will follow up on this once my "precious" arrives.

I agree this is a great poll. I would have added LR attys as an option but admittedly, they are not that widespread...yet. They are technically 3.7 but the end result is closer to HV. The other tricky part is that I suspect that some do not know they are at less than 3.7v, under load. I thought that stock 510s were 3.7 but they really are not. Anyhow, this is a great idea for a poll. Now that Chris has already named his baby so that poll is gone, perhaps we can name his next liquid offering through a poll! =)

I have a total of 4 batteries, 2 egos and 2 tornados and all of them take over 4 hours to turn green. I moved the charged off of a plug I had a few other items in an adapter (5 items) to its own outlet. I will see if that is faster. I have yet another ego showing up today, as a gift. I will try that charger and see if that makes a difference.

I agree with the nic price, not that much of a savings (I think the unflavored 100MG at my freedom smokes is just as good). However, for $55 you get abit more than the nic. I do not buy the platinum ice anymore for cost reasons but I have enough Decadent vapors to fill up my swimming pool. =) GDub,will you be at Sarge's meet? If so, I can bring some DV with me.

I have never had a charge in 2 hours, in the last month since I have had it. I do have the Janty usb rapid charger and it typically takes about 4-8 hours to charge. Not a huge sticking point for me as I am never stuck with 2 dead batteries at the same time. This doesnt mean that it is correct, just that I am having the same experience.

I have the Dtips from Nhaler and an ego and I can get them to work, without mods or cartomizers. yes, it is a bith tighter draw but all I do is slightly wiggle the tip and the draw is fine for me. I would not say that they dont work with the ego but the draw is somewhat tighter.

I placed an order with them and it shipped next day, looks like they are back to normal.

I certainly woudln't consider the learning curve steep, I think many have opinions and take a pride in their own craftsmanship. Really, it is as easy as counting drops (or adding up measurements). The only splenda type sweetner I have used is sucralose in liquid form. I have not had any issues with it. Yes, Decadent Vapours do have sweetness to them, the flavours are already balanced and not overpowering sweet. For my money, Decadent Vapours are the best and easiest flavourings to use. TW is running a promo now for a DIY kit that contains premium liquid nic, bottles, VG or PG and 3 Decadent Vapour flavorings for $55. The liquid nic is 54MG and at 30ML, you will get far more than $55 worth of ready to vape e-juice out of it. It really depends on the strenght you mix. Every bottle of platinum ice (liquid nic) comes with a mixing/recipe guide. There is also a helpful video on the site when you open up the page for the DIY kit. It really shows how easy it is.

@ Dave: 53 aren’t enough? =) @ Kragax Capellas is not engineered for juicing, yes, they have "e-juice" category but like loranns it is food flavoring that people use for that. This doesn’t mean they are horrible but you do want to keep an eye out for which flavors contain sugar, sugar kills atties in a similar fashion as they kill car engines when placed in the gas tank. Many Loranns flavors contain sugars or for other reasons shouldn’t go anywhere near an atomizer. I found a good guide to using Loranns (if that’s your thang) http://www.exogenesis.co.uk/Loranne1.htm The link above was found on one of the best vaping info sites I have found: http://www.tji-java-ide.com/e-cigarette/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=1 Tasty Puff is closer as it was made to add taste to a joint...errrrrr.....blunt.....errrrr...cigar... I have some but don’t particularly care for them in e-juice. I haven't experimented too much for them but when I get the flavor strong enough, it has a weird aftertaste and throat hit. The only two that I know of that are expressly made for e-juice is Decadent Vapors and Tasty Vapor. You can order a doubler of a flavor that seems to be straight flavor. I don’t know if it is concentrated like Decadent vapor is but it is made for e-juice and would probably work at larger % but I have not tried it.... How Much Juice Do You Go Through In A Month?
Burn replied to mmseng's topic in Polls and Questionnaires
Great idea for a poll although it is set up a little awkward, <10Ml is essentially 0 now because you have to respond to each question. Once again, great idea for poll. Personally, I know how much I consume each day and I think I am a pretty frequent vapor. I go through about 3ML during weekdays and 5ML on weekends. If I was planning for a month, I would bring enough supplies to make 100ML, I do vape at 8MG now, I was at 24MG 6 weeks ago. -
Mall e-cigs are bad news. Better pricing, larger selection and fast shipping are all great benefits of online purchases. There are a host of great suppliers online and by visiting various forums there is not a shortage of suppliers with great reputations. Many of them are in the supplier forums of Vapor Talk. I would also recommend jumping in the chat room here one night, there will not be a shortage of veteran e-cig users (not suppliers) that can help you out. They gave me the best advice I have ever received since I started. These folks are my "consumer reports" of the e-cig world.
