Hello. Living the dream in Northern California. I have two beautiful kids ages 7 and 10, a black lab pointer mix and a home that just might be paid for one of these days.

Left my old friends Marlboro and lighter on June 24, 2013. Still love when someone lights up next to me but don't miss that, "after stink", a smoker always has. I've obsessed with vaping. I believe the psychological part to be far more powerful than the nicotine. I must see a cloud, place device to mouth and feel the throat expand to fulfill my need.

The nicotine has always been there for my previous failures to quit smoking:

Patch; I would overlap my applications to up the dose and considered rolling up the lil SOB's n smoking them.

Gum; Liked this one best but found one needed to chew one in anticipation before the need to smoke came on. Always had nice breath

Hypnotism; Every time someone lights up I remove my left shoe and throw it. Just kidding.... I did however spend a grand on a sloppy attempt to train my brain. Hurts to write about it.

Coma; Never did succeed on this one but did wonder if an induced coma, comfortable bed, blood transfusion and a bunch of fluids for a couple weeks would slow the need.

Cold Turkey; Mid aged man cussing at inanimate objects is embarrassingly pathetic. Those who have succeeded here are more man/person than me!

Vape; I have not felt any need for a regular smoke since quitting. I am amazed!! I have to calm myself when telling others who still smoke. I have to stop myself from making Yum sounds out loud when I get that perfect vape!!
