  1. there are only the T3S and T3. So when you get them pull out the bottom of the tank (it unscrews) and check and see if the coil is removable. If you can unscrew the coil its a T3S which is the newer version. If it doesnt (which isnt a big deal) its the T3. Now you can buy just the base of the T3S as replacements and such. So get a couple of those and replacement coils and essentially without the logo... you have a T3S. the seperate base and coil makes it a smoother changeout for the coils and it helps with the leaking issue. The only thing i haven't run into with these is flooding. I have heard some people complain about flooding in them but i haven't had it happen to me yet. I haven't tried to rewick one yet but i will be rewicking and rebuilding a pro tank coil... so im pretty positive it will be the same way.... since its the same coil... with a smaller flange on the bottom of it. You're gonna be fine Uma. Breathe..... woooosaahhhhh
  2. i would buy whatever you want... then immediately go to hobby lobby or walmart or joann fabrics and buy some of the cotton embroidery floss. then boil it to clean it of residue from peoples hands or other gunk. and when your wicks come in... rip out the silica and put some cotton in them. better wicking... better flavor... overall.... better performance
  3. wait.... when did we get cookies?! i didnt get any cookies!
  4. Welcome you got questions? we have.... well kinda.... answers!
  5. honestly the T3S and MT3S they fixed alot of those issues especially with removable coils and a fixed tip.
  6. speaking of crack pipes.... someone asked if my eVic was just a super awesome crack pipe lol. it was a lady in walmart and i politely told her yes but it doesnt hurt your teeth as much. lol! i then told her that no it was an ecig and explained it and then she asked if i knew where she could get a less expensive one so i gave her Brian's card.
  7. your joking right? lol oil drain plug.... remove filter.... replace filter and plug... fill with oil.
  8. YES LET IT SOAK!!! I made the mistake of filling it with rootbeer... and then i hit it right away. I instantly burned the wick (now i could have been overzealous with the eVic being at 4.2v lol ) but after i replaced it and let it sit... its hits beautifully!
  9. for 2.50 a ring and 2 dollars less on the T3.. i might just buy a bunch of T3's and then grab replacement bases every few weeks until i have enough for all of my T3's. oh and Bcarter i posted a vid of how to rebuild the protank coils.... i imagine it would work the exact same for the T3S's... so if it does ill let you know and we can just rebuild them instead of purchasing a butt load of them.
  10. since a lot of us either have them or just won them in Brian's contest (thank you very much brian!) I found this video by GrimmGreen and figured you DIY'ers would appreciate it. pretty simple build and a nice alternative to buying endless replacements. I just bought 20 from brian and i will be trying this rebuild as soon as my kanthal and silica come in. I am half tempted to try another cotton build... but i dont want it to keep flooding like the last one so maybe that one will wait for the weekend. lol
  11. the mesh is what they make the wick out of. the wire is just the coil. you can use other things like silica (pretty standard in most tanks and clearo's), Cotton, Ceramic, etc.
  12. the wrap isnt all that obstructive of your view. I will say that in a dimly lit room its a little harder to see but on normal conditions... its not a bad tank or viewing window. If you get a T3S and you hate it and want to try an MT3S i will gladly trade you my MT3S for a T3S if thats what you wanna try. Although... it has become my go to for work in the factory lol. maybe the metal is just a safety net for my brain.
  13. at this point its an aesthetic thing for me as they both hit the exact same and they both seem really durable. I like the look of the T3S better then the MT3S just simply bc it holds a little more liquid and i dont care for the metal sleeve. Although with your luck you might want the extra protection. LOL. the only thing i will tell you i dislike about them is the Clear tip. Its not a bad tip or anything but you can see the Water condensation build up in them... so it was just a little off putting to me at first until i got used to it. Before these all my tips are either black or metal so you cant see it. doesnt mean its not there... just hidden i guess? lol
  14. you mean in dimensions? or style? It looks very similar to a T2. Its looks exactly like a T3S but has a cover over it.
  15. i can tell you they are in fact wrong. I have both of them sitting her and they are exactly the same size... i even put a protank coil in the MT3S to see if it would fit/fire and it work exactly the same. EDIT: Ok i retract my original statement. I was going back through the coils i have and was going to make a video showing you how they fit. The one set that i actually used was from the first protank i got from brian and they screwed in perfectly. now...... the second gift box set i received i just tried to use one of those coils... and they dont work. so.... I wonder if i got T3S coils with the first box? hmm... IDK but either way. I prefer the T3S because i can change a coil on the fly. Just like my protank. but i will admit i am wrong on that account.
  16. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kanthal-A1-wire-32-Gauge-100-FT-0-25oz-Resistance-Resistor-AWG-A-1-/400339866946?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d361d9542 thats 100ft for 5.75 with free shipping... so i would say ebay is the best place for that stuff. they have different gauges too. thats just the one im going to order.
  17. you can move into mod territory anytime you want the mechanical mods is where you get some heavy maintenance and adaptability. I have an eVic and there is hardly any maintenance other then making sure you battery is charged... but the setting are super fun to play with just saying patricia...
  18. I am pretty sure both the T3's and the MT3S are the same except one has a SS cover around the tank with a viewing window. The reasons why the T3S/MT3S are better IMO: 1. they are both bottom feeders which means you blow a coil.... no waste of juice. just flip it and replace the coil. 2. you can buy the MT3 or T3 for a discount since those are the old models and buy the bottom rings and viola they become replaceable BCC. 3. they use the same coils as the protank so your draw is just as airy as that if you dont plug the holes 4. AND you can buy T3S/MT3S coils and they will interchange with your protank 5. Last but not least they hold 3mL instead of just 2.4mL. That is why i will be purchasing more of those instead of the T2's that you originally showed me.
  19. there is an entire thread when you get GAS (gear acquiring syndrom). i have not posted my stuff in a bit.... maybe its time i do that lol.
  20. It's your choice for now.... wait until you try the T3S or the MT3S
  21. Well on saturday( I know im really behind on these! ) i received my order from the vapor room. I had ordered about 75 ml and i had sent them an email bc it did say on their website that they were expecting shipping delays but i was just curious as to what was going on with my order. Turns out they were sending it out that day in fact and apologized for any inconvenience it might have caused. I replied saying i wasnt inconvenienced just curious was all since this was my first order from a company that hand mixes every order. When i opened it up not only did i have a sampler of the sweet tarts flavor that they sell but they upped the size by 5ml on each bottle that i ordered! that was truly very nice of them and not expected or necessary as i knew they had shipping delays, but they also wrote on my order form a little note. Now im sure im not the first person to get a note on my order receipt but the fact that they took the 2 minutes to write on it... not stamp or type.... but write a note welcoming me as a first time customer and that they wished me the best that is an awesome thing to see that someone actually really cares about their customers and i will continue to recommend these guys to anyone who asks. They are quickly becoming one of my favorites up there with Empire Mods and The Veteran Vaper.
  22. This is a little late but i did in fact receive my drip shield and my RDA IGO-W in the mail on monday. they have been awesome to deal with and when i asked what the free gift was actually used for keith called and told me it was a silicone drip tip extender. lol! so now i have a green dragon on top of a gold drip shield. i will purchase from them again.
