yeah i toss every coil that comes with my tanks... they are always dead. and im not sure why... but maybe its just from being shipped in the tank and it gets jostled around too much.

ok i cant edit my post but i bumped my order to 2 nemesis clones. If i end up liking it... then great i got 2 and i wont regret the $320 savings. if i hate it... i sell them both and recoup my money i dont usually jump on the band wagon.... but this was too good to pass up.

Well the co'op is closed since it filled up. But you have to go to ECF and get verified for the classifieds section then you can access all the co'ops and buying and selling.

Just remember I use 2mm silica though. A lot thicker then cotton and thicker then what came in the original coil. I think in the coil it's .6mm silica. So if your reusing the wick or the same size wick you will want to use a flavor wick on top. It's all about filling available space.

I snagged a few kpt2's and mkpt2's in proetus' co'op so the wife could have some glass tanks and I could have a few kpt2's for my personal arsenal. The price was too good to pass up. $10 a kpt2 and $7 for a mini.

I don't add a flavor wick edgie. I just wrap the coils and toss them in the heads and put the post back on top.

No way. Buy the Russian 91% and save yourself some cash. Same build and everything just a lot cheaper. Or you can get the full Russian. Either way you save money but get the same piece of equipment.
