you dont actually fuse the wire... thats the beauty of it. Its acts as its own animal. It conducts as though its "one wire" but it produces more vapor by being multiple wires... if that makes any sense... lol and we didnt invent it... just build them.

why would you pitch the coils? that doesnt make any sense... are they not working? if they are funtioning... just dial your vape back a watt or 2... seems like your wasting good coils to me :

nah are you making sure that you boiled the thread? that would be a big issue as well... i highly doubt your battery would be affecting it. Sounds more like you need to let it heat the coils longer.... like try a few 5 second pulses... more then just enough to see if its shorting or not... i do about 10 to 15 pulses to break in my coils... i dont want to put them together only to have it pop because i didnt stress it enough. also what kind of wire? kanthal a-1? nichrome?

Actually bebop that's counterproductive to a microcoil. The idea of a micro coil is you compress all the wires together to make them act as less. So you get more surface area I.e. more vapor and less ohms due to conductivity through a "larger" wire. If you have gaps it ups the ohms.

I use 28g and only do 6-8 coils for a 1.3 ohm coil. love the cotton too. Just can't use embroidery floss since its way to aggressive and doesn't have enough stature to stop the juice from flooding. :/

Alright lone there is one LITTLE step you missed in the rebuild process that makes a HUGE difference. Once you have the coil built you need to put it on your battery (I'm assuming you know to put it in the base beforehand lol) and give a few fires. See if there are any hot spots in the coils, they should all glow evenly from the middle out. If you don't have any hot spots then thread it and prime it with just a few drops of juice and make sure you have good vapor coming off it. Then replace the stem... Blah blah blah.... Should take care of the metal your tasting.

try it with a dry coil and see what you get. you should be in the ball park +/- .2 ohms

with a full tank i actually lose resistance. I go anywhere from.1-.4 in a drop... it comes back up as the juice levels go down... so maybe thats what you guys are seeing? anyone testing the resistance with just the coil?

Ah so we meet again. haha I have noticed the same thing. I'm only 3 months in but I have been trying out 0mg and 2mg nic. I don't need the nicotine as much as I did... But there are times where I grab some 2-4mg juice and vape on it for a few minutes... Then I go back to my original juice. I think the act of vaping more so then the nicotine satisfies me. And the clouds..... Gotta have the clouds......

Now while I didn't technically buy these.... I traded my fatty Atty v2 for a Hercules ithaka and My rainbow hybrid elite for a Hercules ithaka. Lol I love these things and I will be buying more. My ithaka's are to me as davide minis are to bcartervol98.

I love those clouds and if I ever get the gumption to do it ill post one for you guys but I just haven't done it yet. Lol.

Ok fast tech ships for free spydre. and his looking to buy it super cheap and that's gonna be the cheapest place to order them from. And a provari is $185 from provape. Unless you buy it used.... Your not getting it anywhere else so I think that's way above budget.

It would have to be off of something like a nimbus or a trident style dripper where you could get a dual micro coil build. The top caps allow it to have the extra space for the coils and the wick. You would have to run either ekowool or cotton (sterile or embroidery) and you have to do lung hits. You can't pull it into your mouth and do that. There are a lot of dangers with it, if your doing something wrong. But it's relatively safe as long as you educate yourself on the abilities of the batteries.
