Honestly, I'm not quite sure what ohm my coil is. I ordered the tank with 3 coils, and got two coils in a higher ohm (can't remember exactly, but I think it's 2.2) and one coil with a lower ohm. Honestly, I can't even tell which ones are which, but have not experienced a difference either way that I have noticed yet. I do change/clean my coils regularly though, but I'm not 100% sure what ohm they are. By the way, I just ordered 3 juices from Vape dudes, all at 50/50 VG/PG, all with 11mg nicotine, and all of them have extra strength flavoring. I ordered Strawberry Fields, Classic Menthol (for something similar to the analogs I smoke), and some coffee like flavor that got good reviews. But, I also ordered a Boge 2.0 ohm cartomizer, and from what I hear, you can modify them to become basically atomizers and use them for direct drip. Unfortunately Vape Dudes doesn't sell any form of a cheap atomizer, so I decided to try this out. I really hope I like these juices. I also really hope that if I modify my cartomizer for direct drip that it will make a difference in flavor. If all juices still taste like nothing after this, then I don't know what to do! In fact, I just smoked my RY4 juice from EC Blends tonight after 3-4 days steeping, and it had ZERO taste. Then again that juice was reduced PG, and I have read that EC Blends waters down their juices. So maybe I will have better results this time around!

You just gave me some great info, things i never knew. I really appreciate it! I will take all of the things you said into consideration before making a new purchase. But honestly, I was vaping an EC Blend chocolate mint mixed with chocolate chai when I experienced the harshness in the throat. I had set my Ego Twist to the lowest setting. I received the chocolate chai about 2 days ago in the mail and have been vaping it since. I think I need to switch up flavors more often. I always smoke rich and dark flavors more so than fruity ones. I should make it routine to at least cleanse my palette in some way. Sadly, these next 2 months are extremely stressful for me since it's the last term before I graduate. I feel like it will be extremely hard to quit smoking during this time with all the stress, but I shall do my best. Again, thanks for the info and help. I really do appreciate it! edit: sorry for the double post

I don't know exact ratio, but it is 18mg nicotine, reduced PG (by EC Blend's standards), and my twist is set at its lowest setting which is 3.2. I don't know what it is. It's like a dry/peppery/rough feeling in the throat when I smoke certain juices. Maybe it's just me. I am just contemplating where to order both a good atomizer (for direct dripping) and quality ejuice from one site. I don't like placing multiple orders and paying for shipping from multiple vendors. I am going to try a 50/50 PG/VG mix and see if I like the results. I really do think it will help with the lack of flavor that I am experiencing.

But wouldn't 80 PG/20 VG be really harsh? Maybe it was just Totally Wicked's juice that hurt my throat, but I could not smoke it at all and it was PG based. I don't mind throat it, I feel it's necessary, but not a lot of it. and also, I have been contemplating getting into direct dripping, I may need to make that transition even though it is more work. ALSO, I am trying to vape some juice right now and it's really giving me basically a peppery/spicy feeling in my throat. I've experienced this with some of the other juices as well, is this normal?

Honestly it may be the PG thing then. The only reason I get reduced PG compared to others is because I tried a juice made by a company called Totally Wicked and it was PG based, and it was very harsh on my throat. If I'm not mistaken "reduced PG" is essentially a 90/10 or an 80/20 VG/PG ratio. I never knew PG carried flavor, so I really think you're on to something. Maybe I'll try a 60/40 or 70/30 VG/PG mix. But when I get new juice, I am going to try a different place. Though I like EC Blends because they are affordable, and their shipping always gets to my place within 3 days.

So about 1-2 months ago, I placed an order for some juice from EC Blends. I ordered some Choco Mint Chip, some Dragon's Dream (an orange creamsicle flavor), and some Dragon's Milk (a horchata flavor). When I received the juices, the only one that I tried was the choco mint. Which I loved for maybe a day, but literally about 30 minutes into vaping it, I could not taste anything from it. So I let the other 2 steep for a while and just tried them a couple days ago. Both the Dragon's Dream and Milk, have the SAME flavor. They both taste like vanilla/cream with cinnamon in them. In fact, I am almost convinced that they gave me two bottles of the same juice, they are that similar. and they don't even taste good at that. They also lose there flavor after just a minute or two of vaping. Anyhow, the juices I got are all reduced PG with 18mg nicotine. I just received another order from them as well which includes Choco Chai, RY4 with menthol, and RY7 with menthol. All three of these flavors smell about the same (which they shouldn't...) I am vaping the Choco Chai right now while I let the RY's steep for a week or two. The Choco Chai tastes almost exactly like the Dragon juices I had (it is slightly different, but not by much.) BUT, like the others, it has ZERO taste after a minute or two of vaping. Needless to say, I am disappointed. I am quitting (or attempting to quit) analog cigarettes right now. But I can't if the juice I am puffing on tastes like air after only a minute or so. Does anyone know if EC Blends just has weak flavored juice? Are there any good juice manufacturers that you all would suggest I try? Do you think flavor might be contributed to the fact that I always order reduced PG juice? Does PG contribute to flavor at all? My set up is a viva nova tank with an ego-c twist battery. I have only had this e-cig for a month or so now, and so far I have been rather disappointed, I really hope it's the juice and not just vaping in general that is letting me down. thanks for the help in advance! Edit: and oh yeah, I shake and steep my juice at all times pretty much, So I don't think that has much to do with it.

Well, I actually have a large bottle of "glycerin" that I keep around for photography purposes (I am a photographer, and we use glycerin on food products so that they retain that nice, fresh shine type of look.) Is that what you speak of? I can just add that to my juices? I didn't know if there was a difference between glycerin and vegetable glycerin. Also, for those who smoke multiple flavors a day, do you use the same tank/wick system (sorry if I am not using the proper terminology) for every flavor? Or do you use multiple tanks so that you can switch them out easily without cleaning?

Interesting, they actually sent me a small bottle of Chocolate Malt for free. But I was/am skeptical to try it, since it has such a strong chocolate smell. Is it better for mixing with other flavors, or have you tried it by itself? This clove is definitely not working for me so far, so I want to switch to something else for a little bit. I also purchased Dragon's Dream (an orange-creamsicle type of flavor), and dragon's milk (a horchata flavor, I LOVE horchata), hope they are as good as they sound!

I'm pretty sure you were the one that actually told me about EC Blends, if I'm not mistaken. I can't wait to try the rest of their flavors, but most of them are part of their "Dragon" line, and apparently those need to be steeped to enjoy them the most. Just have to try and be patient! But the juices I ordered (all with the option of "reduced pg") are much less harsh than the Totally Wicked blends I got.

You're always so quick to answer my questions! I do appreciate it. The juice isn't much darker at all (thought it is a little), I may keep it or not. I'm about to load up some kretek/clove juice and see how it is. I am currently in the process of steeping the new flavors I got, but am too impatient to wait! Edit: new realization, their clove flavor is blehh

So I am very new to vaping, but here's a brief history of my vaping experience. A couple of weeks ago I ordered an ego twist battery with viva nova tank. The first 2 juices I tried were made by Totally Wicked (they have a local store near me) and I purchased both their menthol and strawberry juices. Both taste fine, but they were INSANELY harsh on my throat. I did some research, and found out their juices are more PG based than VG. So I went online to EC blends, since they offer the ability to adjust pg/vg, and ordered 4 new flavors. I received the package yesterday and have been vaping a great juice by them called "Chocolate Mint Crunch," All I can say is WOW, this juice is superb. However, I have been vaping nothing but that since I received the package. Now, I am starting to not taste the well pronounced flavors I tasted when I first loaded up my viva nova. I figured I should switch to a new flavor just to give my taste buds a change for a little bit. BUT, I have a question. My viva nova still has about 1.4 ml of juice in it. Should I save this juice, or just throw it out? I hate to waste a perfectly fine product, but is it still any good for me to use? Also, how often do most of yall switch up flavors?

I just received a vivi nova tank and an ego-c twist battery. When I got it, I opened the box and decided to try it out. I filled the nova with a little bit of juice and it fired fine. Then I unscrewed the nova and screwed it back on, now the darn thing won't fire at all. I've tried turning up the voltage on the battery and yet no vape is being produced. I tried doing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x95J3ljQ54&feature=player_embedded But it doesn't make a difference. I have another tank that the battery works fine with, but the ego won't fire the nova. What should I do? Feel like I wasted my money.

I didn't order any new juices, unfortunately, but the two I currently have contain 1.8% nicotine by volume. As for PG/VG, they don't mention on their site. But from what I have read, they are higher in PG (unfortunately) than VG. That could have been another reason why the juice was so harsh to me, but I think it more so has to do with the heat. For instance, when I hold the button down on my current e-cig, you can hear the juice like crackling (if that makes sense). I don't know if that's normal or not, but to me it seems to be getting too hot. If I get my new set-up but still find the juice to be too harsh, I will definitely order some that is more VG based. It sucks though because totally wicked is one of the only local stores I can think of that sells a decent selection of juice, but from what I've heard, their juices are almost always more PG based.

Well, I want a variable voltage. The ego-t battery is variable voltage, right? I am on Joyetech's website, and the ego-t comes in different mAh's. So that means they aren't VV? Wait, maybe the ego-t isn't the twist... is this the ego-twist that was aforementioned? or am I looking at the wrong battery? http://www.joyetech.com/product/details.php?gno=24 Edit: Never mind, I'm dumb! These are what I am looking for, right? http://www.joyetech.com/product/details.php?gno=112

Any suggestions as to what tank I should get? Also, with an ego twist, do the ohms of the tank really matter? I mean, you can change the voltage, so would I have to actually worry about such a thing? Another question, anyone know of a good company that makes awesome juice? I want something with a lot of diverse flavors. I like to get one tobacco flavored liquid (for when I want to smoke something more close to home), but I love trying different flavors out.

Okay, I'll try to make this simple and brief. A few weeks ago I got an "atmos RAW" vape pen. The thing is technically made for dry tobacco/herbs, not e-liquid. However, I found out that you can add a tank to it (clearomizer and whatnot) and it can be used as an e-cig. So I got excited, took my battery to a local vape store today (Totally Wicked, located in Tampa, FL) and asked them if they had a tank that fits my battery. Sure enough, they did, and gave me the tank shown here: http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/replacement-coil-systems-2/nova-series/rcs-v3-clearomizer-2-product.html So that's cool and all, and technically it works with my battery... however, it's so harsh it almost kills me. I purchased some juice made by Totally Wicked and have vaped the same juice in my friends Ego, and it was so smooth and nice with huge clouds. But with mine, I can't get a decent amount of vape without my lungs burning. After doing some research, I found out this could have to do with voltage and ohms. So I took out my multimeter and checked the resistance of the tank, and it read at 3 ohms. Now my battery, won't accurately at all. But I have heard online that it is either a 2.7v or 3.7v. I'm not sure which one to believe, but here is a link to the battery I have. http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/replacement-coil-systems-2/nova-series/rcs-v3-clearomizer-2-product.html so my question is, how do I get this thing to smoke smoothly? I bought this in order to replace my 1 pack a day smoking habit, and after a few hours of trying to get a smooth hit from the thing, I went to the gas station and got more cigarettes. Can anyone please help me? I am new to this and I figured that the local store I went to would have matched the tank to my battery for me. But apparently not! I regret purchasing this tank so far, and I want that to change. If you need more info, I will supply as much as I can.
