  1. Excellent suggestions, Synth, I was hoping you'd chime in, as I believe your familiar with my spinner set up. None of my multitudes of plumbing gaskets were that small, but somehow I saw a tiny black rubber gasket on the counter in the bath, probably remnants from my pockets, as that is one of the places my wife dumps my pocket booty when she's gonna wash my work shorts. Anyway, I have no idea where it came from, and it was actually a 'cup' style washer which actually better than a flat gasket. The hole was a bit small, but the OD was near perfect. So it's on my backup, and will see if it holds up until I get the real thing. I guess if it lasts as long as the coil, I'm fine. Lesson learned about paying attention to those o-rings.
  2. Ah hah! Interesting.....I love seeing how things work. Thanks Jeff, and everyone else.
  3. .....a 'parts' loser, that is. I got the ego spinner kit with Bottom Feeder EVOD Tanks a little over a week ago, and already I managed to lose one of the nylon gaskets that seperate the atty from the tank contents. Just emailed aquavape to see if they could be ordered. In the meantime, has anyone done the same and successfully rigged up something else? I've got a ton of different plumbing washers, but I don't know if hard vinyl would take the heat. I may give it a try. Also, when you get a 'gurgling', or it sounds like your sucking the last of your milk shake through a straw, what needs to be done?
  4. Have had my pair of Vision Spinners now for about a week, and have had no desire to open that last pack of analogs in my truck. The Spinners I have are manual, and I like that, but they are my only point of reference. I do like the fact that with the manual I can start the juice cooking a second early, thus not having to take a long draw, which I suspect is necessary with an auto. Anyway, I want to order another kit of the '510' type, just to have something a little smaller. Just curious as to what others prefer in that size batt., and this size ecig for that matter. The low voltage should be no problem, as I've kept my spinners at 3.5v max.
  5. Thanks Jeff, that took care of that.
  6. Tried a search, but the search function never works for me, it just says 'loading' forever. Anyway, saw the term 'steep' on another thread and would like to know what that's all about. Thanks
  7. I guess I'll need some empty containers to start, at least until I manage to empty and re use some initial juice bottles. Any suggestions on what to use at first? Do you order empties? Is there something else you use?
  8. Thanks Ladybug. Since I started this thread, I received the bottle of juice that Aquavapor failed to included in my kit. Fortunately it was 'non-vg' regular which is much better to me.
  9. Thanks Troy, I will be ordering another sample pack of 11MG or 0MG juices to tone down my original 24mg order. I'll try some 555.
  10. Right you are Kit, I checked, and I had ordered the 'vg' regular. Live and learn.
  11. Spending my first full day vaping. Ordered a 10 pak sampler from Aquavapor with my kit. When I first received it, I put in the 'Regular' tobacco juice and thought it was pretty good. Now that I've been using it during the day, I'm getting sick of the 'sweetness'. Is this sweetness going to be inherent of all juices, or can I get away from it? I expect it with sweet 'flavors', but not tobacco. Hopefully there's an option, because I can't handle 'sweet' all the time.......or even 'most' of the time.
  12. Okay, I'm guessing this has been covering a few times on this board, but I'm new, and I didn't see a search option for old threads, so....... In reading a couple posts from vets, I get that a 'cool, dark place' is preferable to the fridge for juice. I'd just like to get some opinions on the definition of that term. My reason being that in Florida the coolest it will be in my house from May thru October is probably 77. is that considered 'cool'? The 'dark' part is easy. Vets, please chime in.
  13. Thanks Tam, yeah the 650 might do the trick. Just thought I might want a little smaller unit for rare occasions. I have a feeling I will be hitting the ecig a lot less than analogs. I think a lot of my analog puffs were taken because it was going to burn up anyway, and I felt like I had to use it. And as I said, my unit is set at it's lowest setting of 3.8v, and a normal vape toke is actually too strong for my liking. A 2 second draw is about all I need.....but of course the battery is at full charge and new, and the tank is full, so we'll see if that continues to hold true as time goes on. Also I ordered full strength juice (as I was using full strength analogs), which now I think was unnecessary. And I've got a 10 pak of variety sample to go through, so I may just have to order some 'ultra light' or 0 nic juice to tone these down with. I'll know more once, and if, I finish this last pack of analogs, which as hard as it is for me to believe, I'm not sure if I really want to. Compared to my eGo, they kind of suck.......no pun intended.
  14. I got this: eGO-Spinner-Kit eGo Spinner Variable Voltage, 1100 mah.
  15. Kit arrived yesterday, figured out today how to use it, and I'm tickled pink. Got the variable battery on the lowest setting, and still get a good throat hit with a short pull. I'm using full flav nic juice to start. I have one full pack of analogs.........and they will be used, but I expect it will be the pack I enjoy most, as with the way my ecig works, I truly expect it will be the last. Also, like to hear of any recommendations for a smaller unit for my next buy, as the one I have is sort of cigar size.
  16. This serves as a good reminder to all of us, put it in your trunk, if you have one.
  17. Okay, ordered today: http://www.aquavapor...-Kit_p_131.html Along with a 10 piece e-liguid variety pack. Vaping soon.
  18. Okay, I'm looking at this kit: http://www.aquavaporcig.com/eGo-Spinner-Variable-Voltage-Electronic-Cigarette-Kit_p_131.html Then I see the 'options' menu, and I start feeling my head spin again. Can anyone suggest which 'tank'. And btw, what is a 'tank'? Also, is the 'regular' eliquid a standard analog flavor?
  19. Any opinions on any of these kits, vendor or both? http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits-products.html
  20. Thanks Syn, great lesson...........but I'm feeling a slight spinning sensation again .
  21. BTW, am I missing something here? I'm confused when I do a search for 'Ego Tornado' vendors, those words show up in the site list lead lines, but whenever I go to a site I never see anything actually called 'Ego Tornado'. I.E. this site came up using that search, I see 'egos' listed, but not 'Tornado'. Do they call it something else? http://www.aquavaporcig.com/ego-510-CE-tank-ecig-kits.html BTW, do these kits look like a good way to start?
  22. "..atomizer with carts, cartomizers, manual or automatic battery, even a drip shield..". I'm sure I will learn it all with time, but right now that line makes my head spin.
  23. Thanks B, yes I hardly drink at all, maybe 3 or four beers a month, but always thought that that would have to end if I ever did manage to quit. I am also anxious to get going with this and hopefully get my nieghbors wife to switch. She really needs to, and wants to quit, but we all know how that usually goes.
