  1. Welcome to the forum. Interesting.......just like smoking for enjoyment, but not addicted? Good for you, if that's the case. I told myself that for many years......until I tried to quite. And I have read that most junkies say they too can quite anytime, 'after' the next fix. As far as what gear you might prefer.......just lurk here and read. There is an abundance of information and opinions from real users, not sellers. As for clouds of vape, you will probably want juice with a high VG content.
  2. Understood, but these don't even give 'one' semi-throat hit, fully charged and fully loaded. I will certainly seek counsel here before I flush anymore money.
  3. Also interesting, I wrote a polite, negative review with 1 star on the AV web site. It hasn't been posted yet, and I will be interested to see if it is. I have noticed that 'all' their products 'seem' to have 5 star reviews, and very few with 4 stars. I could be wrong, but I suspect AquaVape may be posting 'only' favorable reviews on everything.
  4. Yeah, I can see these turning someone off to vaping if it was their first piece of gear.
  5. Ordered a second round of juice in lower nic to begin cutting down my 24mg original order. Ordered from AV, and when browsing their clearance stuff I see they had '510 One' express starter kits (auto's). One bat, two cartomizers, and charger for $10. Wanted to try a 510 size so I ordered a couple. I see why they were on clearance. You can pull until you start to turn a little blue and it won't produce enough vapor to see on exhale. I even topped off the carto as I thought it might have dried out some, but it didn't matter. No more 'auto' anything for me.
  6. If you have fallen for the hoax that government cares about 'saving lives', don't feel bad......they continue to fool people everyday. All you can do is 'wake up'. The only thing 'government' and politicians care about is your vote, and your money.
  7. Next they will have to cecum to 'their' addiction of getting their sticky hands into the public's pocket and somehow justify a tax on ecigs so they can use the proceeds to buy votes to keep them in office so they can continue to dip into the public's pockets. Great gig, pass laws to make it legal to steal peoples money so you can use it to keep your job.
  8. Agreed........and BTW, Go Gators.
  9. BTW, I think that the worst thing someone can do is to try a gradual switch to vaping. I say either switch, or don't.
  10. I found it amazingly easy after a pack a day. I still have an unopened pack and NO desire to open it. To me there is no comparison, vaping easily substitutes for analogs. Hopefully you've tried good gear. I mention that as I tried a disposable the other day that was horrible, and if that was my only choice, I would have run back to analogs. But to me, no analog comes close to quality gear and juice. And compared with the money you save, quality gear is cheap.
  11. With a 400 CI, right?
  12. Not going to repost his post, as it uses a lot of space, but to Sonar505......another 'WOW'. I expect that if there were ever a 'Vapor Hall of Fame', that collection would be one of the main attractions.
  13. 'Lucky' that by lurking here, then getting a little advice on a starter kit, I bought some quality products and was amazed at how preferable it was to analogs. The reason I mention this is that I had an experience today that would have, had it been my first 'ecig' probably have turned me off to vaping. I was given a new 'V2' light, single use ecig by someone who had it, but wasn't going to use it. I haven't tried any small auto units, so I thought I'd try it. IMO, boy did it suk. No throat hit at all, and terrible taste. And I hit it a dozen times or so. Had that been my first experience with vaping, I may very well have said 'not for me'. I guess the lesson is if you are looking to switch someone, advise them to give 'your' gear a try, and not just let them grab something off the rack.
  14. That's Okay, I guess it's not critical that they come off, and actually I just ordered two MT3 Bottom Coil Clearomizer's with coils from AV, they were only a buck more than the drip tips alone.
  15. Thanks, and yeah, they don't feel like they wanna budge.
  16. Thanks Blu, this is for a Vision Spinner 3.3 - 4.8, with EVOD bottom feeder tank. I run it no higher than 3.5v.
  17. No, I don't have a Kanger, those pics were posted by another poster. I thought they looked like mine so I re-posted them to show you the gaskets, which I believe 'are' the same as mine. I have the EVOD bottom feeder tanks (which you recommended BTW). Now, are the drip tips on the EVOD's removable?
  18. Going to order some coils for my EVOD tanks, but which ohms do I want? They list 1.8, 2.2, and 2.5. What role does resistance play?
  19. Excellent B, thanks
  20. Thanks Synth, but it's not the drip tip gasket I lost, it's the one on the coil as pictured. So I think I'll just order one of these with my next order. http://www.aquavaporcig.com/eGo-T3-Bottom-Coil-Clearomizer_p_531.html I'll have a spare coil, and hopefully the gasket will last through the use of two coils. And BTW, thanks for pointing out the 'drip tip'......I wasn't sure if they were removable or not, and didn't want to force it.
  21. That brings a question to mind on something. 'How is nic measured in juice'? I mean, is it '24mg' per what? Per 10ml bottle? Per ounce? Per gallon? Per ocean? Per puff? Per WHAT? And also, if the average analog is 9 mg's (not grams, that would be a third of an ounce), it's 9mg per WHAT? Per analog? Per puff? Per WHAT? So if it is 9mg per analog, that means you would have to inhale the WHOLE analog to get 9mg's of nic. Anyway, until I see a 'Per' Something, nic mg ratings are really meaningless to me.
  22. Well I smoked full flavor cheapies for about three years (pack a day), and rolled my own for about 8 prior to that (American Spirit for 5, then Bugler for a couple after tobacco went sky high), and I've found the 24mg in my spinner at 3.5 to be more than enough. In fact I'm getting ready to order 11mg so I can start mixing down. And even though I only smoked a pack a day, that can be deceiving as I tended to hold my drags in for for a second before releasing. 'Packs per day' is a very crude measure of intake. On the opposite end can be the person smoking 3 packs a day, but who barely inhales, or exhales almost immediately. So even though I 'officially' smoked one pack a day, I suspect my intake was higher.
  23. I've had my Vision Spinner for a week now, and pretty much keep it at 3.5 tops, and expect to keep it there.
  24. Excellent pic, Brian, A great closeup of the nylon gasket I lost.
  25. Just curious if others lower, keep the same, or raise their juice nic level before having a few. I've only had one evening of a few beers since vaping, and of course, as with analogs, I'll puff more with a beer in hand. It made me think that it would probably be a good idea to go to a lower level of nic on those nights. I only have my initial order of 24mg of juice, but I'm going to order some more of 11mg so I can start mixing down, as I want to get down to a consistent 11mg use in a few months.
