  1. Okay, thx Jeff, I'll take a look, but I still would like a 510 size without phony fire.
  2. That would be fine, but I'm still learning, and I still haven't figured out whether 'eGo' is a 'style', or a 'manufacturer'. That said, as long as it is the size of a 510, and will take 510 cartomizers, sure, that would be fine. If it fills that bill, do I just shop for a '510 eGo battery'?
  3. Anyone know if they are to be had, and where? I find the LED's rather silly.
  4. Yeah, I was doing a pack a day, but I'm almost a month vaping 'only', and have only gone through about 2-10ml bottles.
  5. Right now I'm working on some Genuine Dekang 'Havana Mix' mixed with some Genuine Dekang 'Regular' (Marl). Mixed directly in the tank.....'stirred, not shaken'.
  6. Drop the 'If' from the OP subject line......there is 'no' if about it. They want your money....they make it legal to take it....simple as that.
  7. Sent a 'one star' review to AV. I emailed them and told them all their '5 star' reviews looked rather suspicious, and that I suspected they 'cherry picked' their reviews. They assured me that they did no such thing, but two weeks later, my objective 'one star' still isn't there. So, I would be suspect of their 'customer reviews'.
  8. "..hot dumpster in a 110 degree day with a side of corpse.."? Is that like a 72 Malibu SS........with a 6 cylinder?
  9. Go ahead.....'un-make' my day. Taste is Okay, as I have no other point of reference yet......it's what's in it that concerns me. I have not gone through 20ml of juice yet, and unfortunately, I still have 180ml of 'Genuine Dekang Liquid' to go through, and at this rate, it will take me about 9 months. Of course, I can always throw it out, but........no......unless other members here want to save me from subjecting my body to 'Genuine Dekang Liquid', and begin sending me juice contributions from VapeDudes and Sweet-Vapes (flavors to be chosen by senders, of course, which in turn I will rate for you.....thumbs up, or down). But I suspect that ain't happening, and being the tight wad that I am, I will have to suffer through this 'Genuine Dekang Liquid'. Well at least I found out before I ordered some 0 nic to begin mixing down with. If there are any pro 'Genuine Dekang Liquid' users out there, chime in........I could use some reinforcement about putting this commie vape in my lungs.
  10. BTW, what is this: 'Genuine Dekang Liquid'?
  11. Thanks B, it's another 'live and learn' moment. I've got a bunch of juice from AV to burn through, but after that I will be ordering from your guys. BTW all, I cut and pasted the topic and didn't pay attention to the 'Usa' before I posted. My duh.
  12. I'm going to revive an old discussion that I saw a thread for from 2010. I recently learned from a post on one of the threads on this forum that even juices labeled 'Made in USA' only have to be a certain percentage. Personally, I wouldn't trust putting ANYTHING in my body from China, and would like to hear opinion on what is thought to be the 'best quality' juice out there.
  13. Okay, you just loaded me up for the next year........I only read before sleep, and if I make it through half a chapter, I'm doing really good.
  14. Oh man, I tell you one of the, if not 'the', best books I ever read was Creighton's 'Timeline'. Wow, did that take me to another place.
  15. Last 5: -SEAL team 6 - Wasdin and Templin -Plum Island - Nelson Demille -Battleship: The Loss of the Prince of Wales and the Repulse - Martin Middlebrook -On Combat - Dave Grossman Currently, 'Avenger' - Frederick Forsyth
  16. I've learned quite a few things from well written fiction, for instance currently reading 'Avenger' by Frederick Forsyth. A fiction novel which taught me that the bravest, the toughest, and the most fearless in Viet Nam wasn't the Green Berets, the SEALS, the Rangers, etc., but a elite group I knew of, but knew little about, the Tunnel Rats. What they would do is beyond my comprehension. Thank you Mr. Forsyth.
  17. Congrats to you......and your wallet. BTW, I see my cardio tomorrow. Or fun.
  18. This has nothing to do with 'ecigs', so i guess it goes here. Anyway, I saw a post on another thread by 'Nana' about the old analog 'vending machines' way back when. I had forgotten all about those. Now I don't recall if I ever used them or not, but I sure do remember my dad using them when I was a kid, and I even remember when, depending on the price at the time, the analog companies would sometime include your 'change' inside the cellophane wrapper. Yup, I can still see those packs he would buy with two pennies inside the wrapper. Wow. Anyone else recall that?
  19. A cheapo 'try it and see' can be a double edged sword. It lowers your risk, but....it may not tune, or hold tune well, or it may be difficult or harder to play, or it may just not sound good. Any or all of these can make one think it is not for them. My first guitar was a 12 string acoustic 'Framus', made in Germany and bought at a PX in 1971. I still have it. It has been a six string most of it's life, as I found in 12 string mode, it was pretty much just for strumming. And that 'strumming' is only effective on the downstroke as the pick never touches the top four smaller strings on an upstroke. I've used the Framus to perform, and have kept it all these years because it is as well built as many guitars that cost much more. I wouldn't mind having a 12 and a 6, but if any 'picking' is to be done much, I find the dual octave sound of 12 string notes to get irritating. As for tuning and stringing.......it's basically like doing two 6 strings at the same time. As for tuning, All strings are the same notes, the top four pairs being an octave apart, and the bottom two pairs being the same. BTW, my advice for a try out is ALWAYS buy a quality instrument USED. Chances are you can get exactly what you paid for it if you sell. But my hunch is that if you get a good 12, and once the thrill is gone, 9 times out of ten you will reach for your 6 string.
  20. Okay, how do you do those pretty juice colors?
  21. Yeah, that's fine. I assume that's about the size of a 510 batt. I really don't care how quick the battery runs out, as long as while it's charged I can pull a good hit. If I have to fight with it, it really doesn't matter if the battery last for 10,000 pulls. So I really don't care who makes it, as long as it's roughly 510 size, and doesn't pull your brains out trying to draw a decent hit. Now, could it be that the hard pull is just something inherent with a 'two piece', and is to be expected, as compared to a tank set up?
  22. Okay, still want a 510, or facsimile, but the two 'autos' I recently got are like trying to suck oatmeal through a straw, which then rewards you with a hit equivalent to an ultra, ultra, ultra light. The pull is so hard that these could be marketed as workout gear for your cheeks rather than vaping. I probably spoiled myself a bit by starting out with EVOD tanks on Vision Spinners, giving me good vapor with easy draw, and I never use them above 3.5 volts. Anyway, would manuals offer more enjoyable vaping? I would like to have a smaller unit for which parts and accessories are readily available, but if I have to fight with manuals in a small unit, I'll pass.
