I just tried to post this as my machine crashed LOL. So here we go again. I have been mixing for a few months now and I have to say Im kinda disappointed in my results. I have tried Lorann's, Bickford, and DIY, but my juices never come out as good as the commercial stuff. I used a 60mg PG base mixed down to 24mg. I have used both sucralose (i don't like it) and Ethyol Malto as sweetners, but I getting tired of wasting the money ( mostly shipping costs ) just to be disappointed time after time. So...I figure it has to be me. I have syringes, graduated cylinders, pipettes ect. and I can measure. I have juice calculators and a real desire to make this work but still....no soap, close but. I was wondering if any of you folks would have any reciepies that you would be willing to share. Im most interested in : Butterscotch - with a strong flavor Cinnimon - like a fireball candy Grape - maybe a good concord Caramel - not with cofee, like Caramel candy. I don't know if there are secondary flavors that I need to add or what the real problem is. Should I add VG? How much? Its kinda thick and I don't want to add vodka or water. My Black Cherry isn't too bad, but I don't like to vape it for very long. If you more experienced folks could help a brother out I'd relly appreciate it. Regards, Craig

There may be some extra humidity going in but, PG is a dissicant in itself. I don't belive it is an issue.

I have concidered a mix as well. How is the TH at 3.7v with a mix of VG? I seriously like my TH.

Im not saying all flavors do this just the one in particular. The cooler temp makes sense to me. I have been DD for a bit now and the flavor from the cartomizer just really suprised me. I think for this particular juice Ill use a carto and for the rest Ill continue to DD. So many options. I still would like to try a 4.5 - 5v smoke but haven't the resources at this time. Ive been at this since the first part of the year and Im still learning.

Yeah, a cartomizer. Better flavor than a DD I was very suprised.

I would say day one, but I strted with a crappy set up and returned it. So really it was day one with a 510. I was a beliver right there.

I have just tried something that sorta suprised me and I wondered if anyone else has experienced it. I have been dripping for about a week now, and I like it. I like the not hasseling with the carts. Today I loaded a carto with the same red hots juice I have been dripping and wow, the flavor really came alive. Have any of you had this happen? Very Strange. I'd be interested in your experiences.

Im not really a menthol guy so it may be TOO strong, if you were mixing a 3 ml batch how much ethyol would you start with?

Id vote Ego or maybe a vyper, about the same size, 510 atty, 14500 battery.

Agreed, the sucralose adds to much of a chemical taste that eythol does not. What menthol do you add? Do you mix crystals? Can you buy it in liquid form?

Okay, This is what I have found with the expert black cherry flavoring: Imixed 3ml @ 24mg 4%-flavoring, 3%-ethyl maltol. I juiced myself at first so after that cleared away, I found it to be pretty tasty. I need to tweak a bit but it's hard to do when you only make 3ml. Good flavor, good vapor. I think I may be on to something. I wish they had more "expert flavors" to choose from. Oh yeah, ethyl is definetly better than sucralouse.

DIY Package has arrived!! Tried the premixed butterscotch 10/10 Tried the Red Hots 11/10. Can't wait to mix with the expert Black Cherry, prolly have to wait until Sat. afternoon Their premix jucies are great! Great taste and excellent vapor. I recommend highly.

No, I haven't used any Flavorart yet. If I can find a Cinn I really like I maybe able to duplicate it. Also hoping the ethyl makes a flavor difference.

Forgot to add the special mix that I had to wait on was thier Red Hots Cinn. I love Cinn and there aren't many good ones so I hoping for this one. Mine isn't too bad but needs more heat. Thinking about adding som capisun to it. But they may just solve my problem anyway. Just wish I had a good recipe for Red Hots of my own.

60mg, Ill cut it to about 22-24mg. Thought Id start with a 4% flavor on a 3mil trial with an unkown quanity of ethyl. They say 3-5% flavor so Ill hit the middle ground. Using the Black Cherry. The other expert flavors don't interest me that much, hoping for more (like grape and cinn) later.

Just got notification my order has shipped. Delay due to a special mix I wanted. Waiting on the Black Cherry expert. Ill report.

Yup, I have my rituals daily that I HAVE to perform to make sure I'm ready for the next day. Have a spare charger, attys, catros and juce at work. I suppose I should bring in one of my pass throughs as well. Like making sure you have diabetic supplies on hand. Dripping and cartos makes it easier, but like Nana says, "back ups, back ups, back ups". And by the way this is a great support group!
