  1. I am trying to find some graduated cylinders locally, but it doesn't look good so far. They are cheap but the postage cost more than the product. Other than Riteaid anybody have any ideas where something like this could be purchased?
  2. I tried addding 160 proof vodka to some 24mg juice. The throat his was harder but it tastes like s%*&.
  3. The thing we have to do is remain united against a common foe. I for one live close to both the PA and Ohio borders this gives me a better chance than the guy stuck in the middle of the state. If need be I could set up a address point in either of those states and then send it out to any point from there. In the mean time others could try to master the art of nicotine extraction. It is a complicated process that requires sulfuric acid and a few other nasty chemicals that you need to understand how to use. Back in the day some members of my Mother's family were bootleggers, not too far south from here there are still, stills running. Not that I am telling anyone to break the law, but where there is a will, there is a way. If we share what information we glean in our endevors we may get around this at least until sanity can be restored.
  4. I sent letters to my Senators, My main supplier said not to get nervous yet they are still shipping to NY. I also just ordered a good quanity of base juice and PG so I can bootleg if I have to,(family tradition) I wanted to learn anyway. I hate Bureaucrats, mindless money grubbing *&^%$^%^%&& !! Please write to these peole even if you don't live here. Use the form letter from the notice above. Remember it can happen to you next. You support me and Ill support you. :mail:
  5. I live in this semi-communist state. I live at the far western edge, but still what happens here is usally driven by NYC because thats where the money is. E smoking has changed my life. I was a pack a day smoker and now I vape. They would have me go back to analogs and die because they are missing the tax $$. I live near a Seneca reservation and its the same thing there, always fighting them over taxes. The don't get too far because they are a soverign nation. I may have to see if they will get Ejuice going there. I live four mile from the PA line so maybe a PO Box there will work, I don't know. The bill reads Ecigs so maybe my suppliers will still send me juice. Anyway if you have the time to drop a line to the NY Senate please do. Don't sell them to minors but leave me alone. Help! Any suggestions on getting juice nobody within 100 mile retails it. And I have to mail order. Any advice appreciated
  6. Just got my shipment of Grape Soda from VT. Im loving this stuff. A new favorite for sure. Thanks Chris!! Ill be ordering more soon.
  7. Stuff is pricey, guess Im stuck for now 150.00 plus the rest is more than I can afford right now. Just have to stock up on juice.
  8. So with the FDA sticking it's nose in our business, where can I get a quart of 100mg nic? I can make my own juice. Never seen it advetised. I can even make the harware. Is there a US source for liquid nic?
  9. The only time I get the burn feeling is if I get it way to hot. Then I get a burnt taste as well as a burning feeling in my throat. Heat seems to be the enemy of taste and atomizers. If you get it too low on juice and start smoking the filling you will get that also. Some folks have to switch from PG to VG for different allergy issues. Im sure you will hear from the more experienced Vapers as well. Just my 2 cents.
  10. There is a USA manufactuer(sp) in Cleveland that makes a good product. But they dont offer a manual battery. I looked at them but went with a 510 instead because acrts were more avaliable. theres are a bit different. There is always a drawback someplace. I use a Vyper mod now with 510 attys but I have quite a few of them and Im buying more. This was mainly to get the extra battery life. You will find Chinese quality will improve like the japanese did over time.
  11. When I was looking for chargers a member here turned me on to a place aclled Deal Extreme. I was just looking at thier website and saw that they have two packs of 14500's a cheap prices but seem to list the same batteries next to each other at different prices.(4.73 & 5.37) Does anyone know what the differences might be? Are they the same? Which would you order? this is the link, they are down the page a bit. http://www.dealextreme.com/search.dx/search.trustfire
  12. OK, I have had this unit for about a week now and Ive worn some of the new off it. I still love this thing. Battery life has shaken out to about 5 hours for me, your mileage may vary. It of course depends on how heavily you vape. I had some trouble with the included battery charger but found one I like better anyway. The PV is very well made and all safety features you could ask for are integrated in the design. I seem to get a better flavor from this, now I'm not sure if its because the atomizer doesn't overheat because I don't have to hotbox it or if it's my imagination. I have been carrying spare batteries in cluding a charged 510 battery "just in case" but I think now that the unit is more than trust worthy. It performs well right up until the battery needs replaced then the "hit" is less and there is less vapor production. All in all I would recommend this unit to anyone and thier service is great. I just ordered a few extra batteries to have on hand.
  13. That was the number on the back on the website it is 23-972. go figure. Check here Out of stock on the website but they had it in the store.
  14. First of all I want to say thank you. You folks are without a doubt the most friendly and helpfull people Ive met on the web. I found a solution. I went to Radio Shack, they carry a charger with two slots, 110 cord, and a 12 volt auto cord that is micro processor controlled. It will fully charge a 14500 in one hour and works great. The part number is 23-503. Now the regualr price on these is 40.00 but until May 1st they are on sale for 20.00 with a 90 day waranty and an extended one avaliable. I wanted to pass that alon its a great charger and well worth 20.00. Thank you again for your help. You're a good bunch.
  15. I was trying to include a pic but don't have a clue. My charger is black with one LED that is supposed to go from red to green when the battery is charged. It starts green, when you put the battery in it goes to red but after 2 hours it's still red. The first time I used it it charged the batt and turned green in about 1 1/2 hours. Could the indicater be bad? If I take the battery out it has a charge but I don't know how much. What do you think a normal charging cycle for a 14500 is? I hate to order anything all the way from Hong Kong. It also has the slide contacts like the one from Mad Vapes. Should I leave it in longer than 2 hours? How long? I don't want to burn the place down. Could it be a problem with the battery itself. I don't know a lot about LI batteries.
  16. OK I have a question. Im using a new mod that take the 14500 battery. They seem to charge strangely. Sometimes they charge in a normal 1-2 hr period and some times the red light never goes out. I suspect its just a cheap charger, so could anyone recommend a good quality charger that will take the 14500? The one I have is a single battery charger, plugs direct into an outlet and has a slide to make connection with the battery poles. Its like a 5.00 unit and as you all know, we can't be with out our batteries. Any suggestions?
  17. Has anyone had any complaints about the smell of thier ESmoking? From time to time the wife will mention it but not in a bad way, just noticeable. I vape in the office and I have a coworker that can't figure out what that smell is. I have a coffee pot in my cube and she asked me if I was making flavored coffee. I don't hide the fact that I vape but don't advertise it either. Don't want to deal with the BS. It is funny to watch "Princess" wonder WTF. I was wondering if anyone else got any reation to the smell of their vapinng.
  18. The Vypr has arrived!! I got the Vypr in the mail yesterday afternoon. Now understand Im not trying to put any other product down in any way, but I'd recommend this to anyone so far. It is very well made. Threaded in 510 connection,vent/led holes and lightly threaded cap gives me a feeling of safety around a malfunctioning battery. I charged the 14500s and got to it. It makes a lot of vapor with a standard 510 atty and no lack of throat hit. The button is small and sturdy as well. I have been using it quite a bit ( spent the night in the ER, with family member)but can't attest to the battery life yet as it is still workin' like a champ. So far I love it! I will try to keep you updated as I go along but Im extremly happy with the product, the company service, and the people I dealt with. More tomorrow.
  19. will do. They are only 2hrs away so should be here soon.
  20. Right now Im just using a Joye 510 and the passthrough I got for it. The 510 batteries just don't last long enough. I don't think I need to go higher in voltage. At least not yet
  21. Just ordered my Vypr. Can't wait to see how this works out. The only bummer is the company is in my state so I had to pay sales tax. Of course that should get it here sooner as well.
  22. I just resurrected a previously dead atty. Soaked in boiling water, blew out, soaked in 160 proof vodkda blew out, resoaked in vodka, blew out, dry burn. Works like new. If it lasts a week Ill be happy. Mixed some vodka with my juice. Good throat hit, tastes like crap. Moral of the story is Devil Springs make a good solvent but not good for mixin'.
  23. I have been looking into these,(the vypr) but if any of you have any personal experience, I would like to hear about it. If you don't want to post it here you can PM me. Thanks
