  1. I should have known better, especially at $6.99! I ordered 4 more VTC5's to replace these fakes. Still no answers from 88evape.
  2. If I'm out less than hour from home my kp2 mini and spinner. 1-8 hours my VTR and Aero tank with a spare 18650 goes with me along with the spinner setup. Over 8 hours I pretty much take my kit which will keep me in vapor for at least 3 days. I don't work and chain vape so I can go threw batteries, juice and coils like mad. A one week vacation takes planning no doubt.
  3. Hopefully this uploaded well enough.
  4. My Moo Juice is 5 days old and the more it steeps the more I crave it, It's taken the spot in my Nautilus as my ADV now. I went back and ordered another 50ml and some extra strawberry flavoring to kick that up a bit. The Hawk sauce is good, but needs more steeping imo, it would be a good juice to use when i need a strong intence flavor. At this rate MTB may soon be my bulk juice suppliers.
  5. I didn't know about those, sounds good tho.
  6. I can try, but all I have is my phone to use and I'm not so sure how good they will be. They are a rather good fake tho. 1. The sticker didn't have the notch. 2. The recycling mark was solid. 3. RoHS is in all caps (ROHS) 4. The bottom is flat and not raised. If your not used to AW fake threads these things would sound dumb, but it can go much deeper in reality. On a side note I got a full 24 hours from my new VTC5's worth of chain vaping on my Nautilus. I'll be getting 4 more to replace the fakes. I went with the VTC5 as I'll be adding a mech soon.
  7. Yup, too good to be true. I've sent 88 a message informing them of the issue requesting a refund and return. I was able to identify 4 markers on the cells showing they aren't genuine. My Sony VTC5's took 3.5 hours to charge on my Pila and the fake cells took only 1.25 hours on all 4. I'll be getting more VTC5's to replace these. I'll know more on Monday about the refund and return.
  8. I can't find a single review here or online about this site, Anyone have any experience with them? I saw they are on this forum and offer deals and coupon codes. High5 is worth a 5% off an order. Secondly, I ordered 4x AW18650 2000mah at $6.99 each with 5%off and with shipping under $30 When I get them is there a way to authenticate them? I'm kinda worried when things seem to good to be true, but I see no red flags yet.
  9. I just placed an order for a couple 30ml bottles, Hawk sauce and Moo juice. I'm hoping I can find a new ADV with MTB since they are half the price of my current ADV I buy in bulk. $45 for 120ml is what I pay now, but I've been hooked on my current juice for a year now.
  10. Since you seem to just starting vaping, Id suggest the MVP and try that with the tank you have. You could go further and check out the Kanger AeroTank or the Aspire Nautilus. Imo a mechanical mod and rebuildable tank is for more advanced vapers who have been at this a bit. Buying a mod and batteries with a charger can add up fast. While the MVP is charge and go. A Provari is a highly recommended mod but a bit pricey.
  11. What BigClouds1021 says is exactly my experience with both mods. Even tho the Nautilus coils cost $3+ each I still feel it's worth it. I also drilled one hole out on the Aero as I discovered there are inner holes in the base that need drilling, but it does help. The Nautilus I drilled out the air ring so the 3rd and 4th holes are both open, it's perfect for me. Ruggedness and cost saving goes to the Aero imo.
  12. Thanks for the input, i do feel more at ease knowing the chipset differences could be negligible with what I'm needing. With more research I've found the DNA, sx200 and Nivel chipsets are NOT what I need from a mod functionality wise. The Provari fits me better, needs and quality wise. My current mods will hold me over so I can save up the money now.
  13. No friends irl, none on the net Jokes aside, I could use some suggestions for mods in the $100/$150 price range without the 33mhz chipset. The MVP not having replaceable cells rules it out. Plus I'd like to hear how much of a noticeable difference can be seen when comparing the better chips and the 33mhz ones?
  14. I wish I had a local shop with a Provari for customers to try so I could see if I notice a difference over low 33mhz mods. I own a 1st gen Vamo, SVD and VTR and I understand the VTR is 48mhz and I can't see any difference. I'm currently using Aerotanks and Nautilus tanks also. Is it the rattlesnake sound that changes with the higher frequency chips and the coil is fired more and becomes almost a solid sound i would expect to hear when using a mech? I have an electronics background so I'm hoping I have a close grasp on this. Besides the Sigelei 20 Watt, what other mods in the $100-$150 should I look at?
  15. I use dual coils in my large tanks, I just dont need them on my on the go setup with a spinner. I do like the looks better as it modeled after the Aerotank. I could see it usefull for a small rig at home if you prefer spinners over mods.
  16. I have 2 Aero's and one Nautilus, but the Nautilus is my edt. I haven'tused the Aspire bdc tank personally, but if you like it's performance on the bc spinner the Nautilus may be fine on it for you. I go threw two 18650 cells a day chain vaping on my mod, that would be a lot of stick charging.
  17. I'd say no, it's not worth the upgrade. It would look like a lollipop since it's much bigger than even an Aerotank which is large by my standards. To get the most use out of a Nautilus you should use a VW mod for the added power over a vv stick. Add in the price of coils and the high cost of the tank your best to stick with what you have. If what you have works, stick with it until its no longer keeping you happy.
  18. What is a top flavor wick? : It sits on the actual coil under the post and lets juice get on the outer part of the coil while the main wick is center. And what does reversing the cup do? It puts less tension on the wick and in theory allows juice to flow more easily.
  19. It worked on the single coil heads fine, but will flood a dual coil head when I tried it. Make sure you have the top flavor wick in place as it will flood without without one when the silicone cap is flipped.
  20. I chain vape the Aspire Nautilus and the Aerotank. Neither require priming for me, but I run 8-10 watts on these dual coil tanks with a 70/30 pg/vg juice. I prefer to also mod both tanks for more airflow. Chain vaping like this uses a lot of juice also, id bet I go thru 5-8ml's a day easily. Also 2 battery swaps in my mod is needed. The Aero has a warmer vape when it's setup to my liking, while the Nautilus has crisper flavors. I still use a PT2 mini on the go,but I do drill the airholes out. You could try flipping the coils silicone cap on the chimney and that may help.
  21. Altho I don't own one, but the MVP is a great first mod if you don't mind the square box style. You won't need separate batteries and charger which can add $50 to the cost up front. Plus it has a good chipset that many prefer over the 33mhz systems a lot of lower end mods use. With costs at under $60 it's a bargain. But I personnely like a replaceable battery setup. Of course the Provari more than fits the bill, but it's gonna cost you at least $200 when you add batteries and charger. I do like my SVD, but would prefer it had a DNA 20 or 30 chip in it. But for a tube mod and a charging and battery setup around $100 for everything it's a good setup. If I could afford it is get a HANA mods DNA 30 for $250 personally.
  22. This is just me, but if I had that much dough I'd get something I normally couldn't afford. Because you can almost always get a bunch from fasttech even on a tight budget.
  23. I'm glad I can't seem to ever afford much more than $100 at a time on anything, which is good since I would have a hard time deciding on a mod when comparing the Hana mods V3 and the GI2 or even the Provari for that matter. But I do see a DNA20 or DNA 30 powered mod in my future if they hit the $100 mark.
  24. I've noticed many times it can take a full tank for a coil to hit and taste it's best. I vape a very subtle juice and it can taste muted and not pull as easy during that time, I have to remind myself of this often so I don't waste coils.
  25. The VTR changed my mind about box mods, but I wish it had the electronics from the MVP. My next high end mod won't have the 33mhz chipset in it, thus why the Provari and Hana mods work so well. Any DNA 20/30 will work as well also. I do love my VTR, but it's not for everyones idea of perfection. I do have the SVD and like it a lot even tho I'm tired of phallic looking mods, the raised window is no issue in my book. It will run flat top or button cells with no issue. But it too is a 33mhz mod also. It's very nicely made and good attention to detail.
