  1. I run 6w-9w on my VTR with 2ohm coils in my Aerotanks. Over 9w it's way too warm and eats juice like I have a hole in my tank. The VTR does suffer from poor resistance readings which can make it inconsistant a lot by giving way to much voltage when it always reads the resistance too high. It also suffers from poor battery regulation as a fresh cell hits much harder the more charged it is and lacks a good hit at 3.7v. I may be wrong, but what batteries are you using? If they can't supply the mod with high enough amps the output will be low no matter how high you set it.
  2. I'd really like to see someone else try this. But I can run a full 1 watt less and yet get 2x the hit. More vapor and more flavor and you can actually hear the coils a lot more. There is no way I can take pics to show what I done since all I have is my cell phone and it don't do macro's. The trick is getting the new flavor wick to stay in contact with the wick sleeve, I used a spiral to line the whole area above the coil and it contacts the sleeve perfectly. And it helps to hold the long "U" shaped wick to stay on the coil. Cotton should work well and I have some hollow 3mm ecowool to try.
  3. I lined inside of the coil with 1mm silica in a spiral and then added the flavor wick so it stays saturated at all times. I may try and boil some cotton and try that also as working with silica is a pita in such a tight area. My taste buds are fried atm and my juice is very lite but I can still tell it did increase flavor. I'll keep the flavor wick installed for a while and see how it does.
  4. I'll give this a shot since it can't hurt anything. The flavors do get muted after about 3-4 days imo. I'm testing out now, I really need juice on my coils as I run both the 3rd and 4th air holes open together. I used 3 strands of 1mm silica I unrelated and made a U shape and layed it on the top coil, that will hold it in place on the side walls of the coil.
  5. I have two ADV's. Mount Baker - Moo juice And a diy mix I make that is complex mix of berries and cream. While Moo juice is mostly cream with a hint of strawberries my mix is heavy on the berries with a hint of cream. The diy juice has been my adv for over a year now.
  6. I usually didn't miss the chew until I had a few beers, it seemed odd not having it in my mouth. If the high nic levels of chewing and vaping together hadn't made me nauseous id still be chewing as I wasn't looking to quit. I had to stop chewing so i could enjoy vaping. Finding a really good juice you like may be key also. Mabey looking at vaping as a fun hobby so it stays fun and enjoyable may be a big help. I'm just throwing out anything that caused me to stop as I don't think it will happen on purpose so easily. I'd still be chewing if I had thought to get a zero nic juice.
  7. Iclear30 does bad things too donkey genitals! Dobie, try an Aero tank or Nautilus. My second worse tank was an aga-t2 which blew and leaked and blew a lot more.
  8. I think dealing with dippers may be differant than dealing with smokers. For me chewing/ dip can put more than 4x+ nic into your system. imo dipping and swallowing is like comparing crack users to herion users. It is that serious. But what got me threw it all was pushing my nic level to the point I couldn't take no more. I had to choose between dip or vaping and vaping is so much more enjoyable. I can say this rather lightly as it happened by accident instead of purposely. Btw, don't poke a giant gorrilla!
  9. While I find those tips good, I'm sure I don't do ANY of them. Then again I get 5 days max from my Nautilus coils. I could get a month's use from them if I tried, bAlways juice would just be wasted seeing I'd only get 1/2 the flavor from my juices. But as a rules doing the tips would help new people learn that tanks do need maintenance which do also, just not the way you suggested. I'd add what I do as good tips also. Blow coil out to get any gunk out and then add 4-5 drop into the chimney end and blow that out and then add 3 drops to prime it and then put it back into the tank. Always clean the center tube out so it dry with a piece of twisted paper towel. Clean all threads and contacts so they don't have dried gunk on them that will cause electrical resistance to the coil. Also check your battery and tanks 510 connections and clean those.
  10. I used Copenhagen for 30 Years and actually stopped by accident. I was the type that never spit and swallowed the juice so my nic needs were high. One day I tried a Blu cig as I like new things and tried vapingfor enjoyment. At that time I did the Blu and chew with no issues. But my aunt told me about her new vapor setup from a new shop that opened locally. Know my nic needs I went with 24mg juice, I LOVED VAPING with a good spinner and evod. My problem started soon after as chewing and vaping 24mg juice started making me nauseous. I enjoyed the vaping more so I didn't need the chew almost immediately. That was about 1 year ago and I don't miss the Cope at all. From what I've read a can of chew has about 4 packs of smokes nicotine in it, swallow it and it's even more. I don't want to suggest you should get the strongest juice you can and vape to the point you can't chew anymore. But that's what worked for me. I had a chew in my mouth anytime I was awake except for eating and sleeping. My vaping is the same way in that my PV lives in my hand and I pretty much chain vape. Good luck, even tho my stopping was by accident I think it would be much harder to purposely try and stop.
  11. I just bought some Omega from SJRJ and it's almost too peachy for my taste, It has a hint of cream also. I mixed in more sweet cream and some sweetener and it's pretty good.
  12. Hawk Sauce from Mount Baker vapor is a good berry mix with a bit of menthol kick. I don't really like menthol, but that juice I could vape a bit.
  13. Since this is the Vendor Review section I think the thread should have a definitive ending. I received an email asking if I had mailed the cells back, which Im and glad I got tracking and delivery confirmation even tho it was sent first class. After 88evape took the cells out of stock they are fully off the site. Altho I wish the store been more proactive they did at least do all the right things to rectify the situation. Altho it wasn't a good experience in customer service I can say they are a safe business to deal with. But as always use caution when dealing with a store your not familiar with. Also I found this site posted in another thread, if you use AW 18650's of bookmark the site. http://www.fatboyvapors.com/#!fake-aw-batteries/cj5h
  14. Mornings are full on cream based liquids for me, I find Mount Baker vaper's "Moo juice" very soft on the palate. It's usually my best vapes of the day with fresh taste buds.
  15. Space Jam Robo Juice - Omega is a killer peach with a very lite cream aftertaste. It's rathem strong flavor wise so I like to ad a good 10% addition of sweet cream and whipped cream flavorings with 1 drop per ml of em sweetener. It actually makes me hungery after a good vape session.
  16. I'm a big lover of cream based juices, so I'll be getting some mothers milk soon myself. MArtinez- I can't find the GotMilk juice your reffering too.
  17. I'll get with you once I get my mind set on what I exactly want juice wise.
  18. I was sent an email stating I can get a refund if I send them back, wich I will. Hopefully they figure out what to do with these cells and no one gets hurt. On a similar front I visited a local shop and they too had the same fake AW's I'll be returning. I mentioned this to an employee that he should look into it. This fake is rather good to be so wide spread.I don't want to see another AW for a long time.
  19. Sony's seem much harder to spot a fake imo. The worst part of all of this is a fake IMR can injure you. 88evape has now taken their AW cells out of stock, so tabovet's good as it shows they are looking into the issue. I'm sure it sucks on their end to loose money, but I hope I don't loose mine also. Had I known what I know now 2 of the 3 pics on his site of his AW18650's are fakes also. Comp it's good to see your views and how you run your business, it can't be an easy job. I usually try and buy from people who support and help in the forums I frequent. I have 4 of my VTC5's now and 4 more coming from MBV which after I tried my first 2 I knew I had to upgrade all my cells to the VTC5. I will keep you in mind about a juice id like made, but that's another thread
  20. Looks 100% authentic. Notch in sticker,RoHS labeled correctly, recycling is hollow, China with a capital C, correct font and (+&-) is solid. It doesnt show the bottom but I'd bet it's raised and not flat. Some older ones can have the second whole line of writing missing and still be authentic. If you look threw that long thread I linked you would be amazed at how many style of fakes are out there. Mine looked real and is a rather good fake and would explain why 88evape hasn't had any/many complaints.
  21. It took me an easy 4 hours or more to gather the info, I can't expect a dealer to do that with every product. Plus I don't want to hurt anyone's reputation unjustly. I like a good deal as many people do, but I'd rather get what is advertised. I wish I had my battery analyzer that I sold a while ago, but if I had to guess these are around 1400mah cells by the charging times. But the bigger issue would be they may not even be IMR's which could blow up in a mech when pushed hard.
  22. I sent 88evape a link to this thread as it has the proof in it to the authenticity of the cells. Also they should be able to defend their view if they plan to refuse the return and refund.
  23. After more use of each tank I find the Nautilus is my goto tank for better taste and flavors of complex juices. But I've seen Kanger is redesigning the bdc coils more like the Nautilus coils, then it will be a new ball game. I find the Aero is a warmer vape also.
  24. Read post #1479 And post #1487 http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?191277-IMR16340-IMR14500-IMR18350-IMR18490-IMR18650-IMR26500-*Part-2*&p=4813437&viewfull=1#post4813437 Same battery as mine and AW himself says it's a fake. The reasons making them fake I listed earlier.
  25. This may not end well..... "Hi, I'm inquiring about returning this order as the cells are NOT genuine AW cells for a refund. Please let me know on how you want to handle this so it can be settled asap. TY Don" "Hi Don, I don't think these batteries have any issues. We sold numerous of these and have had no compliants. 88eVape"
