  1. I know it seems an odd combination, but I've always enjoyed some of the finer enjoyments in life. I loved my humidor in the 90's and soon became a craft beer lover in the late 90's. Going to small scale chef run and owned food joints in the 2k's. I was taught many of the aspects of moonshine making recently. Don't get me wrong as I just gave up my Copenhagen last year for vaping, I'm pretty much considered a red neck. Just one who enjoys trying new stuff and finding all the great things in life. But with a flat top and covered in tattoos and dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. It started 8 months ago at a small town high end restaurant which was suprising as he'll due to the good food and craft beer. I was drinking an ipa of some sort and the guy next to me orders a shot of Redbreast Irish whiskey. Altho at the time I didn't even know what Scotch was but remembering hearing all my life "Johnny Walker" Scotch sucked. This shot changed at how I looked at bottled liquor. It was about 10 sips of heaven, and almost $10 a shot. So smooth, flavors of heaven and an aftertaste the gingerly lingered almost not long enough. Due to income, or lack there of I've had to tread lightly. I later bought a pint of Glinlivet 12yo. It was good, but didn't set my world on fire. Redbreast 12yo is $65 hear. I wanted it, but at the moment I'm hung on the astigmatism of "Scotch" . I knew the Redbreast tasted as good as real breast but if I was gonna spend that kind of money I knew a few things from my moonshine days. No filtering, and cask strength would be the bomb. As I liked my shine right from the tap, not tempered too 100 proof. SOB! I just spilt a shot of what I'm drinking down the arm of my recliner! Ok, I just went all in, and bout a bottle of Glenlivit Nadurra 16yo that was bottled 2 years ago. Does that 2 years add to the aging process, and conceivably make it 18 yo? OMG, I can drink this sip by sip until I hit the bottom. I'll kick my own was if I do! This may be the BEST ANYTHING I ever drink as I normally have to buy my own and I can't ever afford anything more expensive. It is soo smooth and flavorful but the effects of its alchohol is almost Valium like. So warm and fuzzy and pairs with a great double IPA like nothing else.
  2. I didn't know Egyptians had freckles, but I'm glad I stand corrected. It's good human progress where we accept, like and even appreciate other cultures. Pics of strangers isn't too accepted, but at least it makes you want to meet others like them.
  3. Any suggestions on where to buy a clone that's reliable? I gotta say that's a great looking rda!
  4. I learned to hate placing coils under screws with an aga t2, they were impossible to get a coil in the position you wanted. Luckily a local shop has about 10 rda's in stock to see in person. That is one reason I liked the Double Cross was it's 3 tall post and slotted hex set screw setup.
  5. I swear this was done by me, I took a half of a package of Oreo's to bed with us one night. PRO-TIP: Ladies get real upset when you get crumbs in the bed. Let the bottle of actual MM sit 24hours with no cap on and steep a week. I had the same reaction as you when I got mine in the mail.
  6. I'm glad you answered as I thought they looked the best in pics online.
  7. I did learn that too much cotton wick is worse than not enough. And I think my flavor issues were due to my coils being way too large in diameter. I was using a qtip to wrap them on. Thanks for all the tips as I very well could of just gave up due to old setups sucked so bad and they wouldn't vaporize correctly. I went with dual coil, twisted pairs of 28g around my blue handled screwdriver that came with my kayfun. Speaking of that I used all the advice to help build my single coil in the kayfun same as in my dripper, but at .6ohms. It's the best my kayfun has ever tasted. My dripper came out too 2.5ohms wich is way lower than I thought I'd ever try, but the flavor is amazing. Yes I'm using VTC5'S In all my mods. I'm gonna order some ribbon wire to experiment with as I saw how people are twisting flat and round on the same coils. Anyone have any thoughts on the Helios,Omega or 3D drippers? I'd like to add one more to my collection.
  8. MM is my roll out of bed morning vape. It replaced Moo-Juice from MBV. It has a bit of citric acidyness to it and much more complex then the MooJuice. When I first tried a it I was using a make-shift dripper that spattered my tounge with juice, my taste buds were screwed up for a week. Currently it's my second favorite juice behind Five Pawns GrandMaster.
  9. I picked up a Zenith Double Cross clone, it is ok except the air control ring spins to easily. It uses a 3 post system for dual coil builds which is it's best feature. After many attempts I've yet to find a coil build that produces lots of vapor without sacrificing flavor. 1 ohm builds lack punch and .6 ohm builds screw d with the flavor imo. I'd like some suggestions and even pics of something you think I may like. I don't care to go under .6 ohms as I'm no cloud chased and want high flavor. I have 32, 30 and 28 gauge kanthal and prefer cotton wicks. I can also do double and triple twist too. I use a lot of cream based juices and these taste not so good under high amperage, maybe it's just my taste buds. It kills the cream taste.
  10. Look for the Cadillac Escalade commercial and the Egyptian princess with freckles. I better stop here <3
  11. A few questions here. Is the first graph actual physical testing done on the device, or is it a theoretical graph. Are all of the limitations due to the electronics or battery limitations? I'd be interested also on the VTR's graphs and actual testing and done with a good high end cell and a scrappy cell to see just how much a cheap battery handicaps the device. I have a feeling in the next year chipset makers will improve to the point that the device will only be held back by its battery.
  12. I've had this issue with Aerotanks also, But not just on my SVD. One fix I've done is to pull the base off and take the coil out. Make sure the bottom pin on the coil is not compressing the silicone insert. With a small tool push the bases pin from the inside out a bit so the Aero base bottom pin will extend out further than normal. Installing the coil as fast as you can back into the base before the pin goes back to its normal flush position is the goal. These directions aren't the clearest, but if you can decipher them it may work for you. Basically what I described is how to make the tanks center pin extend further than normal.
  13. I'd be interested in answer s to this question also. In my little bit of dabbling with vaping at sub ohms my 50% and higher PG juices don't taste as good as my high VG juices.
  14. Protanks don't like thick high VG juices as they don't wick as well as a 50/50 mix or or higher PG ratios.
  15. I just did a review of 3 juices from ITCvapers.com which was posted originally in this section but was moved to a review section where few people read or respond. Even tho it was the right thing to do, it would have been nice for people to read since I did put some effort into it. Also they were really good high quality vapers. So this post is legit I've been sucking at the nip this mother's day with SB Mother's Milk. It's one of the best cream based vapes I've tried even if it is on the lite side of flavor.
  16. When I checked out their juice line on their website it sounded very good and had excellent reviews on their site, but not many outside of their own site. They are a fairly new company. So I set out and ordered 3 juices from them to try. May I add all 3 needed a week at the minimum of steeping, and they could use more even at almost 2 weeks. I even had to leave the caps off 24 hours. All tasting was done on my Nemisis clone and kfl+ and a double twisted 28 gauge .8ohm coil. Heavens Bounty: This was the first I tried and it had been premixed 2 weeks prior. 12mg and 50/50 specs. I've read that this one was like a chameleon as it changes flavor constantly. I'd describe it as a spiced strawberry cream. But I've also tasted pins colada, strawberry of course, cinnamon, clove and a sweet smooth custard creamy goodness. Lots of vapor even from a 50/50 mix. At times it reminds me of Mothers Milk from SB but a lot more flavor. My only complaint is you never really know what flavor your vaping since it has so much depth. Their flavorings do remind me of other high end juices. I didnt care for the "spiced" part, but if you do you would love it. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Spoon licker: Same equipment but the juice was fresh mixed 12mg and Max VG. It tastes just like unbaked cake batter, but with hint of berry. Very thick juice made for dripping with so much VG. This came with a strong alchohol taste which went away with 24 hours with the cap off. A very smooth creamy flavor that's spot on for cake batter. 8 out of 10. Bananaberry Dream is the last one. 12mg and Max VG and came freshly mixed. I swear it tasted like dirty Socks when it arrived. 24 hours with no cap helped a bit but not enough, it took a full week of steeping to get the sock smell to subside. 2-3 weeks easily to steep this juice was needed. It came a bit cloudy in appearance. The flavor is AMAZING! It's the best most natural ripe banana I've ever tasted. With a bit of strawberry and a good bit of cream mixed in made for an impressive juice. This stuff was as good as any gourmet juiced I've tried. 9.5 out of 10 on this one. I have a feeling this juice maker could make a name for themselves if they stay on this course. $14 for a 30ml glass bottle is a good deal for what you get. I highly recommend their juices as the flavorings are a high quality and how they are mixed takes some talent.
  17. Altho I like the MooJuice and Blue Moon I'm finding their juice is just average now. It is good for the price, but after trying a bunch of high end juices the less MBV impresses me. Their Hawksauce I can't stand more than a few puffs as I really dislike menthol. Cake has an odd off taste. And their peach just reminds me of an artificial flavor that has no depth. I do love their customer service a lot tho. I've been told they use Flavor West flavorings which isn't known for its high quality natural flavorings.
  18. I just got some Mothers Milk in the vapemail yesterday. It's the best strawberry and cream I've had, it's a perfect wake and vape juice. I am also testing Heavens Bounty from ITCvapes.com but it needs more steeping. It has a much stronger flavor and it has a "spiced strawberry" taste that I also taste in MM. I plan a review of 3 juices once they steep at least 2 weeks and then I'll compare MM too Heavens Bounty.
  19. It's kinda like watching a hoodlum in a gun shop who has a pocket full of cash to buy his gold plated Desert Eagle .44mag so he can protect himself while dealing.
  20. I feel I have a copper Nemisis clone in my future, I've done some moonshine making skills in my recent past and gained an affinity for copper.
  21. This may be something I need to look at. I say that as I find myself wanting harder hits on my kayfun which I can achieve if I drip a few drops down the pipe or hold it upside down a few seconds. It needs this more as my battery drains on my mech. Just how easy is it to wipe out and squeeze the cotton clean to switch to a similer juice? The kayfun is a job when swapping juices. I don't really like the idea of dripping a lot, but sometimes it has its advantages.
  22. I would go bananas waiting a whole month for vapemail. Have you checked out Giantvapes? The best selection of a wide range of juice makers. I'm more of a cream based vaper and I hope to start a review today of 3 flavors from ITCvapers which sound very promising. But a full review may take a week due too steeping time. I also can't put Five Pawns GrandMaster down and just ordered another bottle which is kinda dumb imo paying almost $1 a ml. But it's soo good I can't help myself.
  23. My VTR is just ok, I bought it used but looked new for $40 locally. It's a version #1 which suffers from wheel and connection issues, I finally fixed mine with a new silicone insulator on the positive post.
  24. From how I read it they sold cloned Nautilus's with possibly dangerous coils they come with. Just that one reseller and not a product wide recall issue. My last 5 pack of Nautilus coils looked like a 3 year old assembled them, all junk and thrown away. That is a known quality control issue that has been going on for a month now. Or they could be very good fake coils also. Since your new I suggest you buy from a well trusted website or store, vaping fake items seem to be rather rampant these days. Not that all clones per-se are bad, but some can be dangerous or just plain junk.
