About Me

Hey fellow vapers! :) My name is Jonquil, and I'm a 29 yo single mom that has been vaping exclusively now (no analogues) for a year. However, I have owned various PVs for the past three years, so I'm not *quite* a newbie to the scene any more. I started out on a cigalike but have been using APVs/mods for the past two years. I REALLY want to get in to building my own devices, but don't feel like I've gained as much knowledge as I want to have in order to start out on that adventure. I do however plan on soon starting on DIY juices and also creating custom drip tips (I have a weird obsession with unique and stylish drip tips).

My main device at the moment is a Vape-Pro, though it will soon get shelved as a backup for the Evic that is coming to me. :D I have a bit of curiosity about the Provari and will probably be getting one of those in the upcoming year, but I'm really waiting to see what v3 of the device will be like before making such a purchase. I'm not one of those that believe the Provari is the only well made vaping device with decent warranty coverage. This is because I have had NOTHING but positive experiences with the life, durability, and warranty coverage of all the devices I've owned to date. Though I tend to go through devices like some people go through wardrobes, I keep a close eye on them through giving them to friends to help them kick the analogue habit. My first APV was a Torpedo, which still going strong in the hands of another friend, it being about 2 yo. I and my loved ones are living proof that most $100 ranged APVs are of quality build enough to last at least a couple of years, as long as you take just as good care of it as you would any electronic device, such as your cell phone. I respect the Provari for being superior in build for its USA manufactured based price, but refuse to claim that anything less expensive will not last long enough to pay for itself and then some. You get what you pay for whether it is China made or USA/UK made. If you research a device thoroughly before you choose to buy it, you are unlikely to experience any issues no matter what the price you settle for is.

I could probably be pegged as a Totally Wicked fan as far as vendors go, but mainly because I've found this vendor takes care in the products they choose to sell, and also takes good care of their customers, even if it means losing some money on a sale in the present. They're a company that understands well that temporary monetary loss in the event of customer dissatisfaction pays off in the long run by developing loyal customers that keep coming back to spend more. I also appreciate this vendor for providing their own in house tech support and warranties outside of the product manufacturer's provisions. Time and time again I've seen this vendor have the back of myself and countless other customers. While I don't rely on them for all or even the majority of my products, you will see me pick them a lot for the APVs I buy simply because I cannot place as much trust in the warranty coverage that comes with a device as I can in their in house warranty coverage and tech support. I've even seen them go after manufacturers that weren't honoring their OWN warranties on the behalf of customers that initially bought the device through Totally Wicked. However... I respect the favorite vendors of others also, and if someone indicates they want the lowest price on a product or otherwise, I will not hesitate to recommend they buy something through another vendor's site. While I am a personal fan of TW, I maintain vendor neutrality in the recommendations I make to others, unless of course the product that I feel is best happens to be a TW exclusive (they do have a few of those).

I use a wide variety of delivery systems, and have both low and high resistance delivery systems of the most popular types (cartomizers, clearomizers, and RBTs). I also use a wide variety of settings on my devices, and additionally use a wide variety of juices from various vendors. I pretty much just enjoy the fact I don't have to ever stick to any particular vaping method, products, flavors, formulas, etc. since I get bored rather easily thanks to ADHD and can be quite picky thanks to OCD.

I do however have a favorite juice vendor... Mt. Baker Vapor. There are other vendors I am a fan of, but a large amount of juices I am unable to vape for any extended period of time thanks to PG sensitivity and also sensitivity to some artificial flavors commonly used in juices. I tend to stick to MBV a lot just because they're the cheapest vendor I've found that offers a huge variety of good flavors in customizable juices.

I'm not much of a China product fan, especially when it comes to juices, but I also won't overspend on USA/UK manufactured products just to China made products (probably another reason why I'm not a big participant in the Provari fan club).

Outside of vaping, I am an SEO/PR specialist that contracts with IT firms that have clients in need of my services. I'm about to finish up my AS in Networking and move on towards a BA in Networking and Telecommunications, and am currently looking to intern as an IT admin or network technician. My ultimate goal at this time is to become a network engineer. As you can probably tell by my work/education/goals, I'm a pretty big computer geek. While I'm not as left brained as you would expect most in my field of work to be, I bring LOTS of creativity and problem solving skills to the table, along with a huge thirst for knowledge/curiosity that keeps me on top of the latest technology. Just don't ask me to do much heavy programming or scripting because I absolutely hate coding from scratch, LOL.

Personality wise I'm a strange mix of serious and silly... but regardless of my mood, I'm passionate about everything I do.
