  1. Never heard of the battery you are referring to. Is it Ego threading? If so I would recommend starting with the Kanger T2 (About $5) also known as the Ego CC Longwick Clearomizer. Easy to use, easy to change coils, solid unit. If you are feeling a little more adventurous and want to go with a glass tank either the Kanger Pro Tank 2 (About $20) or the AnyVape Davide (About $15) or Mini Davide (About $12) are about the best available.
  2. I actually emptied a 2ml tank yesterday, first time I have ever done that lol. I guess I do not see how someone physically could vape 5-6ml in a day, muchless 30. How is that even possible? I have my PV in my hand all day at work and on a lanyard the rest of the time. Not sure how I could hit it more.
  3. There is no way for them to regulate the hardware, only the liquid that contains nicotine. JMO, no legal expert, but I think this will hold true. As do I. He could BLOW UP! Hope he can duplicate my flavors LOL
  4. It never had to do with taxes as these entities were not in the US with a physical presence and most players filed taxes on their winnings, at least the winning players did. I kept records of every penny won and lost. Over a 5 year period I made over $20k per year average doing it on the side, part time job like, and this benefited the US government because I paid my taxes on those winnings. It was more about conservatives not wanting people to have the right to do something they view as a "sin" as well as the Brick and Mortar casinos wanting to get in on the action and in order to do that, they were willing to screw over hundreds of thousands of Americans int he process. LOL don't get me started as this was-is-and has been the political issue that has affected and motivated me personally the most in my lifetime. My wife didn't understand how I suddenly became so politically active and she has already called our Congressman this morning on the e-cig issue. I think she gets it now. Nanny Statists that want to control, not govern. The US is a shell of what we used to be in terms of freedoms, and that is a slap in the face of every person that has ever served their country in any capacity. I am getting pissed just talking about it, probably should stop lol.
  5. Can you explain what you mean by a window to purchase? If they announce they have banned online sales, then would online sales not be banned immediately or does this require congressional action and-or a vote? The reason I ask is when they passed the Safe Ports act that contained the UIGEA (Unlawful Interneg Gambling Enforcement Act) the best sites shut down to US customers for a while. Then, since they were abroad and not domiciled in the US, they started allowing US players again. Everything went on as normal until what we call "Black Friday" int he poker community when the DOJ seized the assets of PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and Ultimatebet-Absolute poker. I lost more money in this happening than I care to mention especially on Full Tilt. Then again, this was a congressional action and not a unilateral action of the FDA. I am confused I guess by what you mean by "window to purchase".
  6. Like I said I am working to negotiate a very large order of the liquids I like, a years supply at least. Also this most likely will pertain only to liquids, not hardware. You can buy a bong online under the tag "for tobacco use only". They cannot regulate that really, as the hardware contains no nicotine and is only the delivery device. This should keep hardware cheaper and more readily available online if the suppliers can survive on the profits of that and local liquid sales. Liquid is by far the most profitable thing in a store I would think, especially with those that mix to order and buy the supplies in huge quantities.
  7. I don't think they can ban hardware sales online. I mean you can buy pipes and bowls-bongs online under the label of "for tobacco use only". I am of the opinion if online sales are banned it will only apply to the actual liquid containing nicotine, the regulated substance. A six foot bong is completely legal until you smoke pot in it. Sake principle would apply I think.
  8. When I am on the lake outside and the humidity is very high, it is possible to blow some awesome rings. The higher the humidity the longer the vapor holds up.
  9. My biggest fear out of all this is the ban of online sales. I swear I am going to order enough of the flavors I like to last at least a year prior to their announcement in October I think. I mean tax it, fine everything else is taxed, establush a legal age, fine, but this nanny state bull **** telling adults that have worked their asses off is getting super old. I earned the money I spend, and if I can buy cigarettes, drug paraphernalia, liquor, and many other things some consider bad then anything beyond establishing a minimum legal age and taxes is ridiculous. There are ways to establish the age of a patron online.
  10. Great vendor too. One of my top 2 for hardware and liquid.

  12. One of my department heads is going to a party sponsored by a major auto manufacturer next month. It is a "Mad Men" theme. While I never watched the show, I understand it is set when everyone smoked on TV. The "My Doctor recommends Camel brand cigarettes" commercials era. They have to dress up like the era and, in addition, they are giving away some sort of disposable 0%nic e-cig for everyone to vape for pictures so it will look more authentic. I thought it was pretty cool.
  13. 24 mg is what I use all day every day, and yes 50-50 will give more vapor than 70-30 generally speaking.
  14. I seriously doubt we all will have the same device. I know I plan to order mine in 70-30 24mg but that is too high for some. I think everyone should order what they would normally order if it was just a normal order. I think it would be awesome to have an IMedic night!
  15. 70 pg 30 vg 24mg in any tank 2.5ohm 4.0-4.3v is my new thing. Not big in throat hit anymore though. I mean I get one but now flavor is my number one thing.
  16. Yea I gave away all my tobacco flavors. I just don't want the taste anymore now that my taste buds are healing. It's mints and fruits for me now and none need steeping luckily.
  17. What? No I have some 100% pg I use when I want to ultra stealth vape. Airplanes, places it is not acceptable to do in the open, stadiums, arenas, theaters etc... It has good hit but no vapor. Virtually invisible unless you really blow it out fast. It is in a regular bottle like everything else. I find 70-30 at 24 mg is where I get the best hit and clouds of vapor.
  18. I am blowing clouds of vapor from my pro tank 2 as we speak. Not sure how it could leak unless something is not tightened. Remember everything comes apart and if loose it can leak. Sometimes they loosen in shipping and transit when in the package. I use 70-30 24mg and get clouds and strong throat hit.
  19. The base and the seals in the T3S is improved over the T3 and makes it less leak prone. 2.2o coils also helped me, never had one leak. There are 8 full sitting on my bar for 2 weeks not a drop.
  20. Here is my ranking of tanks-clearos I have tried: 1. KPT2 Ok I love it. Perfection imo 2. Mini Davide (Almost perfect, but KPT2 edges it in performance but not portability) 3. T3S (Just short of being as good as glass, great taste and vapor but still plastic) 4. T2 (Best top coil clearo out there imo) 5. Vivi Nova (Way too tight a draw, too expensive for plastic prefer the cheaper Kangers over this one) 6. CE4 (After trying others, this one is at the bottom of the pile)
  21. Ok bored a work again but I thought I would chronicle where I started, mistakes I made, and where I am now hopefully to help at least one other person not go through some of the pains I did. It all started for me during the University of Tennessee Spring Game weekend. Arian Foster, former UT player and current Houston Texan of the NFL came into town for the weekend. I had hosted a party for him and many other former and current NFL players that went to UT. Just like in any other event, I tried to think of who else were smokers so I could have company by the firepit and only thought of one friend that owns a local radio station. My wife and I were like, cool, at least there will be one. Well when everyone arrived and were drinking, playing cornhole, beer pong, all the things people do at a party...I decided I wanted a smoke and asked my friend if he wanted to have one with me. He said he had quit. WHATTTT? My wife and I are the only smokers? How can this be. He explained to me he had done it with E-cigs. Now he had bought an Njoy King and nursed it only treating his withdrawals when they got the worst they could get. After 2 Njoys he was done, and as of this day he has not touched anything else. Well I thought, I am not gonna do that. We went on and had a great party. The next day, the day of the game, I went with my friends and former players to where they spoke to the team. My wife set up our tailgate and then we all came out there. Of course Arian and others got mobbed so we went into the stadium early to hang out on the field and see other people in the UT Football family. I realized I was about to have to go 4-5 hours without a smoke and panicked. What would I do? I was getting crap from a lot of my friends since they couldnt understand my angst about going 4-5 hours without a smoke. I was pretty drunk so I made it through and on my way home said......I may try this e-cig thing. The next day, I went and bought 2 NJoy kings and started my journey. I said I was done with cigarettes, and from that day I have not had another one. I did however quickly realize the NJoys were gonna get expensive! $6.99 each plus tax and going through 2 a day. I had no idea what was available, so we visited the Cigar Store in our local mall and bought 2 starter kits, one for the wife and I, of something called "Topaz". They were $89.99 each and had 2 of the little V2 style cigarette looking automatic batteries and cigarette filter looking cartomizers. WOW these were a step up from the NJoy but I realized how expensive it was gonna be. $24.99 for an extra battery, $8.99 per cartomizer, tiny crappy disposable clearos were $15.99 and 10ml of liquid was $20. Not good. Being myself I started searching online and learned about the Ego style batteries. I somehow stumbled upon VapeDudes and bought my wife and I the $38.99 starter kit without very high hopes. After all, how could a $38 kit be better than an $89 kit? Once it arrived I was THRILLED (and pissed at the cigar shop in the mall) with the quality of the hit. I wasnt super fond of the first round of flavors, but Strawberry Fields was in there and we knew right away we liked that. Then we found Spearmint, that led to the Candy Cane. I found a great Tobacco flavor at Sweet-Vapes because, like every other noob, I felt like I HAD TO HAVE a good tobacco. About the same time, I found VaporTalk and then the education started. I learned about VV and found out I had to have that so I ordered some Vision Spinner 1300mah batteries. Then I moved from the CE4 disposables to the Kanger T2s really by accident, thinking they were the same thing. Then I wanted to try BCCs and the T3S was awesome and like most others, at this point, my switch to all glass is complete with Davides and KPT2. I really dug into VaporTalk. What a great resource, people that have been there and done that....got the TShirt. I listened, didn't argue even when I felt I was right, and learned. I know now how to handle almost any situation. I have tried 63 liquids of which only 3 are flavors I like. I am a juice snob I guess. I have now switched to glass tanks mainly but still have plenty of my trusty T2s and T3Ss on standby. Long story short (too late lol), there are some GREAT people on here that will give GREAT advice if you are willing to take it. Just like in anything else, people tend to go from knowing nothing to knowing everything in not a lot of time lol, so remember to keep an open mind. If I can do it, after 27 years of a pack and a half to 2 packs a day, then so can you. This was my first attempt to quit. I do not like to fail, its not an option. I wanted to make sure I was ready to quit when I did because failure was not an option. Probably the most important thing I have learned in this time is this, and if you only pay attention to one thing, pay attention to this: EVERYTHING WITH VAPING IS SUBJECTIVE!. Reviews are only a general guideline, and what I love you may hate and what you love may taste like hell to me. Same with batteries, mods, hardware, clearos, tanks, dripping, or any of the other things VaporTalk has opened my eyes to. I celebrate 4 months analog free as of today, and was bored at work, so decided to share my story in the hopes 4 months from now someone else might say that helped them reach a milestone of some sort. I feel such a debt of gratitude to those on here that helped me. You know who you are.
