  1. For some reason the B&Ms in my area push the IClear over everything else. After using the Davide mini, and I also have one KPT2 but barely use it, I see no need to try anything else. The Davide Mini is perfect to me, and its not really all that "mini" holding only .5ml less than the KPT2 and the draw is perfecto for me!
  2. When I got my Vamo V3 I stopped looking. I entertained for a second getting a backup mod but realized this one does everything I want it to. If it broke tomorrow, I would order another one. Simple to use, rock solid construction. Overall a great unit and only in the $50 range for the unit itself, can get the unit, a NiteCore 2 bay charger and 4 18650s for around $100. Now that I have experienced VW you couldn't give me a Provari which is VV only.
  3. Vamo V3 with 4 AW IMR 18650s and a NiteCore 2 bay will run you about $100.
  4. I have been thrilled with my Vamo V3. I was going to get another but decided why? I use this thing almost exclusively.
  5. When I get below 20 coils on hand I feel the need to order more. I also double alcohol soak and rinse-dry those I replace and get more use out of them that way. Everything I have use either T3S or KPT coils so they are only about a buck apiece in 5 packs.
  6. I use only 50-70% VG in 18mg now that I am over the "needing a throat hit" hump but still some flavors just inherently deliver a throat hit for me. Two that jump out at me are Gummy Blood and Orangezilla from Fuzion. Even at 65%VG they both knock me out the first few draws when I pop one of those tanks on.
  7. I used 70-30 24mg for a long time when throat hit mattered to me. Its funny, not I do not even want a throat hit. Now its all about the flavor. If you want throat hit I would be getting at least 70%pg
  8. My money is on accountant. I have referred to them as bean counters forever. But then again, he could literally count beans lol
  9. Draw is much tighter Glass can be replaced Can be completely disassembled for cleaning Any 510 drip tip will work
  10. For some reason, all grape flavors I have tried give me wicked heartburn. And its not the nic, it has to be the flavoring. The same amount of any other flavor doesnt do it.
  11. I generally have 5 full Davide minis in my case at all times and usually finish a tank before switching to another but not always. Never experienced Vapers tongue I guess.
  12. When you have bubbling and gurgling one of two things is going on: 1. You have gotten liquid in the center hole when filling 2. You have a bad coil that allows too much liquid into it (I have found most coils that come with new units fall in this category) I only use BCCs and at first this happened to me all the time. Then AquaTroy told me this and unless the coil is bad, I have never had it happen again. When you are filling, take just enough cotton off a Qtip so it will fit in the mouthpiece and though the center hole. Use it to plug while filling. Then pull it the rest of the way through the center hole out the bottom. Make sure the post on the coil is dry, and blow through the base to remove any excess liquid from the center post on the coil. It sounds like a lot, but quickly becomes second nature and will solve 99% of peoples BCC gurgling problems. I havent had a T3S, Davide Mini, or KPT gurgle in months using this technique. I pretty much use Mini Davides exclusively but my wife uses T3S exclusively now.
  13. I think it is important to draw a distinction here between the T3 and the newer T3S. The newer T3S has been relatively maintenance free when compared to its predecessor. Other than the coils that came in the unit needing to be replaced up front, I have had literally 0 problems out of them leaking and are on par with the Mini Davides and KPTs as far as dependability.
  14. I like Orangezilla and Gummy Blood but have to say Unicorn Blood and Endless Summer are tied as my favorite two flavors from anywhere. Vaping Dragons Tear this morning. Gonna need a bigger bottle of that soon.
  15. I had that issues with the coils that came with the units but never with Kanger replacements. I mean by the bottom of a tank it might gurgle a little every once in a while but that experience, for me, was not very common. I fill my wife's tanks and can almost guarantee if you swab out the shaft both before and after filling, dry off the post on the coil, and blow through the base to get and residual liquid outbid the center post you will solve the majority of your T3S issues. I never had any luck with blowing out the tank to stop gurgling however. Usually I ended up spewing a half a tank of liquid out the bottom. If I had gurgling from the get go, I tossed the coil. Sucks, but some are just bad and leak and I am not the fix it type.
  16. Actually the T2 is the easiest tank ever to fill imo. You don't even have to remove them from the battery and it's virtually impossible to get liquid into the shaft. They just have the same issue all top coil units have.......gravity. If they gave the same taste from top to bottom I would have never even tried anything else most likely. I used them for a long time. Like I said I still have about 20 of them in the "emergency box" I keep liquids I like but don't love, coils that came with tanks I bought, and some 2.8 ohm coils I bought before I knew what I was doing lol. They will all work if I am ever in a pinch.
  17. This will solve all those issues, I have 8 now and they are all I use. The wife still uses mainly T3S. http://www.discountvapers.com/anyvape-davide-mini-glassomizer/
  18. Thats the thing that made me retire about 20 T2s to the "emergency box". You might get good hits without swirling for the first tank of a fresh coil....maybe... but after that I always had to swirl it around to keep the tops of the wicks wet. I will never use another top coil outside an emergency situation and the way I stock up on stuff I do not see that happening. There are only two choices imo 1. Use a bottom coil unit 2. Swirl constantly or keep them full all the time. When I used them I considered a half a tank empty and would put another on until I could top it off.
  19. Are you making absolute sure you are not getting any liquid in the shaft during filling? When I fill my T3S, Davide Minis, or KPT2 I always take enough cotton off a Qtip to get through the drip tip and block the hole before filling, then swab it out again after filling. I also blow out the coil each time, blowing on the base to get any excess liquid out of the coil. I am not there, but would almost bet this is what is happening. It happened to me when I switched to BCCs. I didnt think I was getting liquid in there, but when I started using AquaTroys technique I realized every time the Qtip was soaked and that I was indeed getting liquid into the shaft the coil goes into.
  20. The first KPT I had had an awful, almost metallic taste to it. I gave it away. I thought all along it was an aversion to the metal drip tip. Then I realized I never washed and cleaned it before I filled it and those things are shipped with a coating to protect them during shipping I learned. I bought a KPT2 and several Davide Minis and washed and cleaned them before filling and never got that taste again. Just a possibility. Davide Minis are about all I use anymore though, I have the KPT2 and use it on occasion but the draw is a little too tight for me.
  21. Great advice from DayVape. I have had some liquids that gunk up the wicks a lot quicker than others but I have liquids ranging from 100%PG to 65vg 35pg and everywhere between and never has one leaked when another has not. That,s just weird to me. One thing I have found with all my Davides and KPTs is the coils that come with them are garbage, and I throw all 3 in a box labeled "Emergency equipment" and get a new KPT coil and never have had one leak.
  22. Unicorn Blood until the tank is empty, then gonna pop on Dragons Tear! There will be a bigger bottle of that in the near future.
