  1. Can't put down this Zombified! Not sure how to describe it. It's called a "Citrus Cooler" and is very citrus. Sort of reminds me of a good Margarita!
  2. Snake Mail! Just ordered 100 jumbo adult mice and 50 weanlings at a unit cost of 77 cents each shipped. RodentPro FTW!
  3. Well both batteries would denote 2, and it's one 18650 which is the same size as 2 18350s. No issues yet with chrome coming off and it has been about everywhere I have been. Just don't get the black it wears off quickly from what I hear.
  4. The guys that opened the shop are the same guys that have been running the Smoky Mtn Vape group for 5 years and are very knowledgable. That is the biggest difference between them SVD the others. They also know how to make a profit by packaging items together at a somewhat reasonable price overall and a very reasonable price when compared to the other B&Ms. Plus their liquids are as tasty as Fuzion and $1 less for a 30ml.
  5. Once I got my Davide Minis and KPT 2 I stopped looking at tanks. Love both, but the Davide mini is perfect for me.
  6. The owners name is Glenn but the guy that makes the Steampunks name is Brian. I bet they will do whatever you like, super cool people. I can't seem to get a link to copy on my phone but on Facebook it is Vintage Vapors - Knox
  7. Zombified from Vintage Vapors, a new local shop with an amazing liquid lineup.
  8. Oh I grabbed a couple AW IMR 18650 2000mah for $11 each, good price there too. And to be fair the SVD for 99 came with an Itaste tank too. Way more competitive than the other shops in town which I expect will fade away if Vintage Vapors stays like they are now. They do have a Facebook page if you want to search them. Will post link later. Their old timey theme is pretty cool too.
  9. In a pinch I agree. No online presence yet. Liquids are $10 for 15ml and $14 for 30ml so very reasonable, but SVD was 99, KPT coils are 3, KPT 2 was 29. Of course they have rent to pay but I have bills too lol. They will be a regular liquid supplier though. All is 65pg wish I could get 50-50 or 65vg. They have a liquid line called "Tasty Troll" that is 65vg but it is a local person that makes these super complex designer liquids like desserts, not my thing. The one I grabbed today is called Zombified which is a citrus punch. Bad thing is there only have 0,6,12 and 24 nic but they let me get a 15ml of 24 and a 15ml of 12 for the same $14 price as 30ml bottle and even gave me an empty 30ml bottle to mix them together to get 18mg. They are going to bring 16 or 18mg out soon they said. The Vintage Vapors in Chattanooga has been there a long time and the service was impeccable. The tasting bar was all KPTs labeled with the flavors. I tried a bunch, liked most of them. I can't wait to take my wife there. A guy there makes these Steampunk mods that are cool too. Everyone is nice and friendly and I felt comfortable from the time I walked in the door. They even have a complimentary coffee and soda machine. I was thinking it would be more of the same but I hung out and talked for over an hour lol.
  10. Wow! I prob will not buy any hardware there to be honest it is a considerable amount higher than online but dam do they have some good liquids. Will post better review later but I may have a new favorite if it tastes near as good at 18mg as it did at 0.
  11. Hoping they do not suck as bad as every other one in my area. This one is called "Vintage Vapors" and has a theme like from the 40s and 50s. They carry their own line of liquids and something called "Tasty Troll". Going to stop by in a few after I close the dealership at 6 to check it out. Would be cool to have a local option as long as they are reasonable and not Richard Heads like the other two shops in my area. So far they have rave reviews on Facebook, we will see. They are literally on the 2.9mile commute I have back and forth to my dealership.
  12. Endless Summer. I also have decided as bad as I want to like it, Gummy Blood from Fuzion is going in the "last resort " box with a few other flavors I am not super fond of. May put together a package deal in classifieds later as I have amassed a few more flavors that aren't my "cup of tea". Amazing how things change, like tastes. I loved the first tank, second not so much, now that tank just sits. I mixed it with Endless Summer and thought I was onto something......butnah.
  13. Maybe just soaking the coils in water for a few days, swishing them around and changing the water each day might be just as effective at getting the old flavor out. I am not sure if you can tell, but I am pretty anal about stuff like this. I want to know and learn everything there is to know and sometimes I get to the point of being redundant.
  14. I noticed with some of my cheap drip tips it turned them white and cloudy so I can see what you are talking about, and it could explain my o-ring breaking like it did. I guess I have always been under the impression just using water will not get the residual flavor out of the tank and especially the coil so some sort of solvent, alcohol wash, vodka wash....something would be needed. Being completely honest, I have never tried just cleaning my stuff with water because of this. I am not sure why I clean coils anyway since they are so cheap and readily available. I guess in the back of my mind I have this image that something could happen that would render things hard to get, especially when the government gets involved.
  15. Yea I read that. Thing is, everything I have read has talked about how it is dangerous to "huff" or "Drink" Iso, but to use it to clean coils and tanks seems safe to me as long as you rinse thoroughly and let dry. I mean if someone were to soak it in Iso and take it directly into their tank and vape I am sure the results would be bad. I just cannot see how a well rinsed coil or atty soaked in iso, thoroughly rinsed, and allowed to dry completely could possible be dangerous. Plus its the only thing I have found that gets all the residual flavor out of a coil to be reused. I also wouldnt think there would be the number of places recommending using Iso to clean your vape gear if it were known to be a dangerous practice. I usually err on the side of caution, but I personally think it is perfectly fine to use....but that is just an educated guess based on facts I know not a statement of absolute fact. I have tried Vodka, just hot water, and Everclear and none take the flavor out of a coil like a few days soaking in Iso, a good rinse, and a full air dry, at least for me. And like I said before, unless I hit hard times or coils become hard to get, I may never use any of these anyway since I always have a ton of coils on hand.
  16. For KPT coils I would think the cost of cleaning with premium vodka would be greater than the cost of just using a new coil each time. I am not concerned about cleaning tanks with it, I know they are rinsed thoroughly and there is nothing "absorbant" to hold onto the Iso. Its the coils that prompted my question. Every time I explain "how I do it" there is someone to say "Iso is bad for you" and I just want someone to explain why, where they learned that, etc... I am pretty resourceful and I cannot find anywhere that states this is a bad practice outside of opinions in the forum world lol.
  17. Ok I have been using Iso to clean coils and tanks since I started cleaning coils and tanks a while ago. I keep seeing people refer to this as "bad" and I am not sure why. If i am doing something that will harm me or my wife I would like to know. When I search on Google there are a lot of people that recommend using Iso for this. What I do is soak the coils-tanks-whatever I am cleaning in Iso. With coils, I keep a cup of it near my filling station and whenever I start to get that gunked up burned taste I drop my coil in there and put a new one in. I let it soak until I get 5 or 6 in there then I rinse them very good, put them back in fresh Iso, let them soak a few days, rinse very well with hot water and let air dry for several days. Then I put them in a cup for "hard times". I havent been using them much, but I did use one to see if it came clean and tasted fresh, which it did. It even seemed to last longer than new out of the pack. With tanks I let them soak overnight then rinse with hot water and let them dry a couple days OR dry them myself with paper towels and Q-Tips if I need to use them immediately. Is there something wrong with doing it this way? Not to sound like an ***, but I would prefer facts to opinions on this one. All I can find anywhere online is a lot of people saying to do it this way, and a lot of people saying to not do it this way.
  18. I just ordered 6 more from Discount Vapers that only have 1 O-ring but I already have several of the same style from there that fit very very snug. I have to use a good deal of force to take one out. I have some in both of these styles and they all fit very very snug http://www.discountvapers.com/drip-tip-510-dynasty-swirl-dark-red/ http://www.discountvapers.com/drip-tip-510-triswirl-black-blue/
  19. Never heard of E-Luminate so I wouldnt be help there, but I assume it is like every other liquid just "pour and vape".
  20. I have never heard of e-cigs being bad for asthmatic people, but as someone with asthmatic people in my family I know the smallest of things can set it off. I will say if smoking didn't bring on attacks, the e-cig certainly shouldn't but you should really refer to your physician on this one.
  21. This might help with the size-look comparisons you are doing. A couple pics: Here is the Vamo V3 with all pieces (except top piece, I at first thought I needed to take this off to use the Ego connection and as you can see in other pics, it is not necessary) and an 18650 battery sitting next to a Vision Spinner 1300mah Here is just a shot of the Vamo V3 with a Davide Mini of Unicorn Blood And here is a "History of my vaping adventure" in pictures from where I started. Great for a size comparison. From right to left, Njoy King, Topaz bull%^$# kit from cigar store, Ego 400mah mini, EgoT 1000mah, Vision Spinner 1300MAH with KPT 2, and Vamo V3 with Davide Mini
  22. Ordered 6 assorted drip tips from Eric at Discount with the added bonus of them sending me replacements for the broken o-ring on my Davide Mini.
  23. Eric answered back very quickly and said he had a few laying around but not enough to list for sale on the site. He is including a few on my next order, which I promptly made. I wanted more drip tips anyway :-)
  24. Vamo is the type of Mod that has 4 pieces that screw together to make the tube. Using them all accommodates a larger 18650 (2000mah) battery and only using 3 pieces accommodates a 18350 battery. These arent the only two kinds of batteries but definitely the most widely used. Then there are telescoping Mods that accommodate the other varieties of batteries between the 18650 and 18350 (around 1200mah). I am just not a big fan of the looks of the telescoping models and since I plan to use only 18650s at all times, the telescoping feature doesn't matter to me. I went with the Vamo V3 and love it, but everyone likes something different. I set out to spend around $50 on the unit itself and the Vamo fit nicely into that range. I love it, some seem to not like them (I dont get why, but everyone likes something different). The T3S will fit nicely on any Mod with an Ego connection and look fine. I only use Davide minis and I like the way the chrome looks on chrome with no plastic and all glass, but to each their own there too.
  25. Spydre one of the HUGE benefits of Lithium Ion batteries over Ni Cad and their predecessors is they do not develop a memory. I usually kill mine all the way before charging, but when I am leaving my Mod at home and taking a smaller unit like EgoT1000mah or Vision Spinners I always top them off to make sure I have a full charge before I go. As far as coils, predicting how long one will last is like predicting what the temperature will be on November 28th. I have some that last 4-5 tank refills and some that last 10-12 tank refills and some that I change almost every other refill. Different liquids will "gunk up" coils and need to be either cleaned or replaced. When my coils start to taste burned I take them out, soak them a few days in Isopropyl Alcohol, rinse very thoroughly with very hot water, then let dry a few days and toss them in a cup and re-use them a second time before tossing them. Also a 1.8ohm coil will probably not taste very good at a voltage over 4, usually anything over 3.5-3.8 is too much power for my taste at that resistance. Leaving batteries plugged in overnight is something I do not do, but my wife does it all the time no matter how many times I ask her not to. Echo the sentiment to always use a wall charger, it adds an extra layer of protection. Of all the stories I have read about exploding batteries, not one was when being charged with a wall unit. I use the same style charger for every Ego threaded battery I have from 400mah minis, 650mah bedazzled wifes batteries, EgoT1000mah, and Vision Spinner 1300mah. I use my Vamo 99.9% of the time now, and those batteries charge differently beut even so often there are 4-5 Ego batteries charging at the same time. With my Mod batteries I have 4 18650s and a 2 bay charger. They are 2000mah and charge in about 3-4 hours but last a couple days so I wait until I have 2 dead to charge. Another of the many advantages of the Mod or APV.
