  1. Of course you can, its my name lol. The Veteran Vapers owner Brian is a great guy, a contributor on the forum, and offers impeccable service and great prices. My only complaint is his selection is a little more limited than Discount or Sweet-Vapes but whenever I look for something, I look to him first and move on from there. I just ordered 2 more KPT2s from him Sunday and they are in my mailbox at home right now. I should have ordered 3, but needed a couple more AW IMR 18650 2000mah batteries (Awesome for everyone from the continental US, not HI), and grabbed a third KPT2 from Sweet-Vapes. For hardware my selection order would be (Depth chart for sports fans lol) 1. The Veteran Vaper 2. Sweet-Vapes 3. Discount Vapers (Only 3rd because Chuck and Dayna have really taken care of me at Sweet-Vapes so they are #2 even if a tiny amount higher on some things and the only one of the 3 that carry Davides)
  2. Not a battery expert nor do I know what "A Cells" are vs what is in the E-Fest. I just thought I was noticing since I got my first APV after months of using Vision Spinners that the AWs were lasting longer so I did my little test. It was controlled as I can get running the business I run, being a Scout leader, and having a very busy life lol.
  3. I deal with assholes in person all day at work, makes being nice on an internet forum quite easy. As they would say from my area, "He ain't from around here is he?" LOL
  4. Welcome to the forum. Just not used to that sort of judgmental type post here as to call someones admittedly non scientific study and thread "Pointless and Biased" as most people here you will find are more kind and tactful in the way they say things. Especially for a 20th post in a forum with a fairly tight group that are respectful of one another. If you like to be judgmental and , well, just plain rude ECF is --------------------------> that way
  5. Yes both are 2000mah and, as i said in the post apparently no one read beyond the first sentence, it is under imperfect circumstances and not exact in nature, but cycling through 4 batteries, 2 E-Fest and 2 AW IMR and recording the times they are put in and the times read "Low V" at 3.3v in my Vamo, there is definitely a difference. There is variance like anything given circumstances but at a little over 3 hours one can deduce the AW lasted longer because the average life was around 29 hours for the AW and around 25.5 for the E-Fest. That is too much variance to not be a true statement, the only question would be in a completely controlled study with a sufficient sample size what would the actual average time difference be?
  6. Did you read my post or just the first sentence? Pointless and Bias....good morning to you too.
  7. 2 AW IMR 18650 2000mah and another KPT2, this time from Sweet-Vapes since they carry the AW batteries I like better. Going all KPT2 for my daily drivers and using my Davide Minis for flavors I use sporadically but not every day. The more I use the KPT2 the more I like it. Its just so easy to fill compared to the Davide minis that I love, but are sort of a pain in the *** to fill every night lol.
  8. Other than replacement glass for my Davide minis I got at VapeExtreme I only order hardware from The Veteran Vaper Discount Vapers Sweet Vapes I have never wanted or needed anything they do not have. I am a "find what works and stick with it" kind of guy.
  9. You took the words right out of my mouth. The only thing I ever sucked directly into my lungs was hand rolled and we arent supposed to talk about it here lol. I never thought people actually did that with PVs. I do it exactly like I would an analog back when I used tobacco. The only exception was the first and only time I let both batteries die when I first started vaping and had to lean on an Njoy disposable. Sucking on it like it was a straw in a soda was the only way to get any satisfaction out of it. Of course since then I have amassed a collection of various Ego batteries that I could last through a week without having to charge lol.
  10. I sort of did a non scientific study over the last 30 days switching between my these two batteries in my Vamo and the AW lasted on average around 3 hours longer than the E-fest. There are variables that make it imperfect as far as exact times like changing wattage, times I vape more vs vape less, weekends vs weekdays, activities I am doing like driving and chain vaping vs being at a school function for hours where I hardly vape if at all etc... All that considered I definitely feel the AW is a better battery than e-fest with regards to how long they last. Just sharing.
  11. I go through a staggering amount of Qtips wiping the threads to try and stop it from sticking to no avail, but of all my liquids this is the only one that sticks and it sticks every time lol. About to switch from the Mini Davides to all KPT2s for my every day flavors anyway so at least I will have more grip.
  12. I cant for the life of me get this one apart lol. It sticks every time, but this one is STUCK lol
  13. I love this liquid, but for some reason in my Mini Davides it takes an immense amount of force to get them apart to refill after using this liquid. Anyone know a trick or anything? I guess the sweetener or whatever is very adhesive. I have one right now I cannot get the bottom off. Never happened with any other liquid.
  14. And yes, stay away from eBay. If Discount Vapers, The Veteran Vaper, or Sweet-Vapes doesn't carry it then it probably isn't worth owning. Just my two cents, but you get what you pay for in vaping gear. All three of those suppliers are tried and true, have impeccable customer service, are USA family owned businesses and other that glass replacements for my Davide mini I have never felt a need to shop anywhere else for hardware.
  15. If a Kanger pro tank, Vivi nova, Davide mini, T3S, Evod, or the other tanks do not work then your batteries are not Ego. See Ego is a connection type, not a brand of battery. You will have much better results with tanks (today's technology) than atomizers imo.
  16. Zombified! Dam I love this stuff!
  17. My son is 8 that I am referring to, and all he knows is Mom and Dad no longer smoke cigarettes. I know it is a while away, but I do not think he will ever want to do either. I never thought about "pursuing vaping" in the context of my response. I get what you are saying now. IN the big picture, and I may be opening a can of worms here, but I am not a believer in hiding things from your kids. I think people that sneak off to take a drink or have a smoke, or refuse to discuss sex and sexuality, or do not let their kids be exposed to things they see as unsavory are missing valuable teaching opportunities. I think people overall are too fast to try and protect their kids as opposed to educating them. Maybe this is coming from someone that leans somewhat liberal in my social beliefs and lives smack in the middle of the Bible belt, but I see it every day where I live. People pull their kids from public school and home-school so they can not be exposed to science, evolution, and such. Sheltered from the liberal teachings of public school. They will not take their kids places where there will be drinking or smoking, but go home and after the kids go to bed pour a drink and step out back to have a smoke and are naive enough to think their kids do not know. In my opinion they are saying "This is what adults do, and you cant do it until you are a certain age" as opposed to answering questions about why people do things, say things, drink, smoke, vape.....whatever the case may be. I personally, in my 43 years, have seen FAR more sheltered kids go nuts when they turn 18 and flunk out of college because they have not been socially prepared. For example there is a school in Memphis called ECS (Evangelical Christian School) and it is one of the more strict schools I have ever seen or heard of. You are required to follow the rules 365 days a year both in school and out. If one of your teachers or school personnel see you smoking, drinking, using profanity, or anything else against school rules you are in trouble at school for it just as if it happened there even if in the middle of summer break. Parents get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing this. At UT there is a tradition called the "ECS Orientation Breakfast" which is shotgunning a 12 pack of beer the morning after your parents drop you off to start college. Sheltered kids like this sort of see turning 18 as a license to do whatever you want, like the other adults in my experience. Kids that grew up around drinking, smoking, and things like profanity and "adult settings" tend to be more prepared for the social challenges that go with growing into a young adult, as long as their parents took the opportunity to talk to them and discuss it with them. And please no one on here take what I said as personal as it is just my overall opinion.
  18. Methol? No drug talk! lol
  19. When your kid begs you to stop smoking, there are not a lot of questions they ask. My son is thankful every day that I and my wife both are approaching 6 months tobacco free. He understands this is a much much safer substitute and based on studies I have read and independent research I feel completely comfortable vaping around him. It may not be "cheap" but its definitely cheaper than smoking. I am about $1200 to the good over the last 6 months all things considered. I kept track of every order in an email folder and did the math. My savings in my ticker are x2 plus some since my wife smoked more than I did and we both switched to vaping at the same time.
  20. Ordered two more KPT2s from Brian at Veteran. Still love my Davide minis but after using the KPT a little more I think I might use it for the "Top 3" liquids I have in my rotations and the Davide Minis for those that I occasionally want but aren't all dayers. Its just so much easier to fill AND coils are seeming to last longer in it than my Davide minis. As always Brian thanks for the awesome service and prices. You might save $1 going somewhere else but you will not get better service!
  21. I take one of these every day and one 1000mg B12 and have never felt better! I love the B12 that you put under your tongue to dissolve as opposed to the kind you swallow like a pill. http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=VS-3127#.UlwS_xBWJcU
  22. True. Back in the day when I had the shop the food bill would have been insane had we not bred rats, mice, and rabbits lol
  23. It's cheaper to breed for sure but I do not have a place and the smell is something my wife will not put up with. At 77 cents per including shipping I can handle that. Shipping is high but looking big picture, still better than $2 each at the cheapest local source. Actually more than $2, as a box of 4 are $12.99. All the locally owned shops are closed now and PetSmart is all that is left.
  24. Back on the unicorn blood now, but popped in a 2.2ohm and cranked it up to 7.5! Might be on to something!
