  1. This is why I spend a little more and get my stuff from either Veteran Vaper if he has it or Sweet-Vapes if he doesn't. Assuming it is in the first couple months of use I bet either of those suppliers would happily exchange it for you.
  2. Possibly. I dont know, I have read mixed reviews but have straight abused mine and it is still kicking. A little scratched, silver shrome coming off a little bit, and I have had to stretch the spring a couple times that holds the battery in connection but for the price I would buy it again. I hate telescoping APVs and that leaves very little selection but if I were to buy another tomorrow, it would be another Vamo.
  3. Thing is they were all smokers only using nicorette to get past being in a cave for over 24 hours and not being allowed to smoke. None seemed to have any intention of quitting smoking and switching to vaping until I showed them the freedom it gives with very little down side. Even if they had forbidden it, it is still very easy to step into a stall in the mens room and vape away. Or even just in a spot to yourself.
  4. Yea, and not to "de-rail" the thread I am tired of being the only parent absent at Saturday occasions. I have it worked out for now since I am the Scout Leader but have already proposed to my boss a 20% pay cut in exchange for a M-F 8-5:30 schedule and use that 20% to pay a senior sales associate to cover Saturdays only. Either this will happen or I will be doing something different by spring. Thing is I LOVE what I do, I just hate the nights and weekends inherent to my profession. Surely with the gains I have made for this dealership (Almost a 200% increase in sales over a 9 year period a lot due to changes I brought in and implemented) I still have value at that schedule. If not, someone will see it. Maybe the competition?
  5. I already have everything I want "Vaping Wise" so I do not want any of that for Christmas. All I want for Christmas is a new job, one where I can work M-F and not a lot of nights or weekends. I am sick of my chosen profession and would love for some "Christmas Magic" to just fix it all lol. Gonna tell Santa Claus I would be happy to take a 50% pay cut haha.
  6. LOL no it shattered a tip I got from DV. The metal one would have survived I am sure, but not without a dent haha.
  7. Gum in a cave environment can be very destructive. Water vapor that dissipates cannot really do any damage.
  8. 2 KPT 2 Bases (Sweet-Vapes) 2 T3S Bases (Sweet-Vapes) 50ml of "Strawberry Lemonade" from VapeDudes 16mg 50-50
  9. I mean the impact shattered the drip tip AND bent the post on the KPT base enough it is noticeable to the naked eye yet the Vamo and Glass and everything made it through just fine. This stuff is tougher than most give it credit for,
  10. This weekend I and the other Den Leaders for my sons Cub Scout Pack took them "cave camping". It was a very cool trip but a couple of the parents were smokers and had asked if they could bring their "Nicorette" gum in with them. They asked since gum was expressedly forbidden so I told them I wasnt sure. Well as soon as we got into the cave the tour guide says "No Tobacco, No gum, No firearms, No open flame, etc.... One of the parents asked about nicorette and he said absolutely not. I pulled the tour guide over to the side and asked him about vaping and explained it to him. He said that wouldn't be a problem. Since I always over pack I brought 4 fully charged Ego batteries and 4 full tanks of 24mg (just in case I was gonna have to sneak) I talked to the parents that smoked and set them each up with a battery and full tank to use for the trip and all 3 of them say they are going today to buy the starter kits. I sent them links and such but am sure they will just go to the B&M which is fine, their money. I was just proud to have led the way on hopefully a much healthier life for them and it all happened in a cave almost 2 miles below the earths surface! Incidentally, even with 70pg liquids the vapor production is immense in 100% humidity lol.
  11. I stood up with my Vamo on my lap and it landed directly upside down on the top of the tip which immediately broke into about 8 pieces but the KPT glass and Vamo seem fine. Now with that one KPT when I screw it down onto my Vamo it screws kind of lopsided as you screw it down so I have determined I bent the base of the KPT2 and did no damage to the Vamo since my other KPT 2s do not "wobble" when screwing them down. Whew! It hit a tile floor too. This Vamo is tough man, not sure where they get the seemingly seedy reputation they have. I guess I got a good one lol.
  12. I would be good with 20 packs or so of 1.8s as long as they are around the $4 mark like the last ones I got from you that were extra.
  13. Please let me know the next time you do a KPT coil co-op I want to get in on one of those again. All stocked up on 18650s.
  14. Watching Stanford beat Oregon (so far) after The Coven and Big Bang Theory.
  15. I would think he drains more than electronic devices lol.
  16. I remember them but do not want to lol. I was more of a Kiss, Motley Crüe, Ozzy Osborne guy in my youth.
  17. Still struggling with selling any of them since I do like them. My only issue is the pain in the *** it is to fill them. Keep in mind I have to fill for two so every night there are 3, 4, sometimes 5 to fill. My wife went back to the T3S and I switched to KPT2 mainly for this difference but I still use my Davide Minis on a very regular basis. I agree they seem to bring the flavor out marginally better than the KPT 2 but not enough to make a difference to me. As to leaking, I have never had a KPT2 or Mini Davide leak. What some people experience and call it leaking is when you use the unit condensation builds up in the drip tip, runs down the center post and eventually will get a drop in the coil and gurgle. I have found, a la Troys advice, that if I shoot a Qtip through the tip and through the post each time I fill it NEVER happens. I also tend to top off my KPT2s every night since they are so easy to fill and maintain and by cleaning the center post each time with a Qtip I cannot remember the last time I had a gurgle or leak.
  18. I may get a V5 to go with my V3 soon! Nothing else really appeals to me.
  19. In all honesty I pay very little attention to reviews anymore. Your experience will be as varied as the reviews are. I see things that have hundreds or thousands of reviews. Some things will have a lot of very good reviews, not many in the middle, and several very low. I think there is as much "user error" that goes into reviews as actual information on a lot of things. I trust a few people on here that I have gotten to know and their advice and to be honest never really read reviews on liquids and hardware anymore.
  20. Love it. Would buy another one today if mine needed replacing.
  21. And the silver chrome has worn off a little bit around the fire button but I could care less lol
  22. Been using a V3 for about 4 months now with no issues except the spring that holds the battery in is a little weak and over time needs to be stretched a bit to re-expand it or the unit will turn off because the battery will lose contact. The threads are like anything else, just don't cross thread. Had no issues here and use both the 510 and the Ego connection regularly.
  23. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using a tank on a VW APV. With a mechanical yea I maybe see your point, but to say that as a blanket statement seems a little off. I have used my KPT 2 and Davides for months on my Vamo and the featured far surpass what a simple ego battery offers. I have them, both VV Egos and standard ones I use when appropriate (stealth vaping in a public place for instance), but still prefer my APV and have no desire to rebuild anything. I get clouds I want and only fill, occasionally pop in a new coil, and vape away. Not everyone wants to reinvent the wheel some people just want to not smoke ever again and the performance of a KPT 2 on an APV vs a standard VV Ego battery is beyond comparing imo. Plus you know battery life, resistance of your coil, batteries last longer. It's a much easier user friendly experience I think. Sorry, I just think that's bad advice for a lot of people that come here seeking information. No offense intended.
