I have used everything from 100%pg to 50-50 to the new Fuzion formula that is "No PG added but 65% VG" WTF ever that means lol. Either way I have used the full gamet of liquid mixtures and havent found one to leak more or less than the other. I would bet $$$$$ if OP gets a 5 blister pack of genuine Kanger coils and puts one in, his problem will be solved. I have 6 KPT 2s and before trading some I had 10 Davides and not once did I get a functional coil with the tank.

Not a MVP fan myself, dont really like the way the box mods feel in my hand, but I can say vaping with an APV for me is easier than with standard batteries. I know when my battery is low before it dies, know the resistance of my coil I am using and with wattage you do not have to mess with settings really at all. With my Vamo I occasionally change from 7.5w down to 7 but other than that I havent touched anything on it since I dialed it in new.

OH I just read you are using the coils that came with the tank. I learned to throw those out or put them to the side for a rainy day. For some reason, they are always garbage. Forget the W vs V, the blowing out and cleaning, and pop in a genuine Kanger coil that didn't come with the tank and see what happens. I bet anything, even a killer rabbit, that it will solve your problems.

If you run a qtip through at each fill and blow out the coil before each fill you will never have a problem with leaking as long as the coil is good. As you vape, condensation builds in the drip tip and runs down the center post and if you do not blow it out and clean it at each refill it can gurgle. I have 6 KPT2s in rotation now and haven't had a gurgle in months that wasn't fixable by simply turning the tank upside down, blowing out onto a paper towel, run a q-tip through the center post, and turn back upright and take a draw to see if it is still gurgling. If so, repeat blowing out but remember to hold the tank upside down or you will blow liquid through the coil and out the bottom. If it still leaks replace the coil. I feel for you if you have a leaky tank, but chasing the solution by switching from V to W makes as much sense as trying to hunt rabbits by looking for them up in trees.

Kanger T3 Tank which coils to use ?

I have no problem whatsoever with standard non VV batteries and 1.8ohm coils as far as tasting burned but generally I am using my non VV Egos when I am at a "stealth vaping" occasion (Scout function, football games, shopping, etc...) and I opt for 2.2ohms just because there is less vapor. At this point I view everything as a nicotine delivery system and taste is my only real concern over amount of vapor, throat hit, etc... As long as I can tell I am getting my nic, the rest is inconsequential to me lol. -
I truly have no system at all. I keep my Spinners and standard EGo batteries charged and ready to go since they are all backups now to my Vamo lol. Whenever I use them I top them off after and put them all in a cup near my vape station. I know this is not optimal, at least I do not think it is, but there is not much rotation for me. I probably need to use some of my Spinners because I have 6 that some of them have not been even turned on in months sitting with a full charge.

Kanger T3 Tank which coils to use ?

The lower the resistance is the end result is more vapor, stronger throat hit, warmer vapor, and you go through liquid faster. I do not think the life span of a coil will be affected simply by the resistance but I could be wrong. I also do not think the resistance of a coil will have anything at all to do with battery life but again, I could be wrong. I am finding the sweet spot on most of my liquids in my 6 tank rotation to be around 2.2ohms at 7.5w. -

Not sure I have ever tried a 2.5 on a non VV device. I bought a couple boxes of 2.5s to try and they are nice for sweeter flavors I want to vape on higher wattage but tbh they are sitting on a counter collecting dust. 99% of the time I vape with a 2.2ohm @ 7.5w but there is one flavor I have (that is on the sideline right now) that I prefer 2.5ohms @ 8-8.5w. -

There is no right or wrong with it comes to resistance (ohms) only personal preference. I use 1.8s, 2,2s, and even occasionally a 2.5 depending on the flavor and my mood lol. -

I would steer clear of E-Bay in the future. Better deal here, great people too http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_color_plus.tpl&product_id=1951&category_id=46 -
I may order some unflavored PG in 18mg to add to it, just hoping it will not dilute the flavor too much.
-
I think that is what is happening with my Fuzion flavors. When they stopped adding PG it is too thick. I want to dilute it but do not know how to. If I take a few draws without power then push the button it is good for a draw or two then the same thing. It is noticeably thicker than my other flavors and I am almost certain this is the issue for me. You might try priming the wick with a couple strong draws without pushing the button to soak the wick. It is a pain in the *** but has worked for me.

Question for somebody good at math...
bcartervol98 replied to HelloMiakoda's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Depends on if you are measuring "how much you go through" as opposed to "how the nicotine consumption compares" vs a cost comparison. Too many variables to answer the question to any degree of certainty. The only truly correct answer is "It Depends" to anything other than cost, and even then cost is different in different areas. A carton of analogs here range from $35 for generic to $45 for name brand where in NY or CA I am sure it is nearly or more than twice that. -

Any 510 drip tip. I have all sorts of colors and styles. I mainly use KPT2 but the Davide Mini is a great tank as well. If you want cheaper the Kanger T3S is a great option. Has the same capacity as the KPT2 and is under $5 with coils being about $1. I assure you, once you switch to bottom feeder whether glass or plastic, you will wonder why you waited so long lol. They are all I have left except the T3S stockpile the wife uses. All the others I gave away to new vapers.

Always the same. Long slow drag, inhale, quick exhale, repeat as necessary lol.

Me too. I was an all state 3rd baseman with scholarship offers from just about every SEC school until I tore my ACL, MCL, and partially tore my patella tendon trying to make a spinning throw from 3rd to 1st in a sub state game. That pretty much ended any hope I had to play sports at any higher level. I am still involved with the UT Football program in many ways and still love all sports and cannot help but wonder what "What could have been".

I will never forget first baseman John Kruk firing up a smoke on his way into the dugout at the end of a game, I think either the NLDS, NLCS, or World Series and a reporter asked him "How can you as an athlete smoke and portray that image" to which he replied "Athlete? Hell I am no athlete, I am a baseball player"! LOL

I smoked 2 packs a day at about $4 a pack = $8 I vape about 3ml a day at ~.50 a ml= $1.50 -
Former Athlete turned "old fat guy"now lol. I can tell you though, as a scout leader that is an avid outdoorsman-hiker-camper-boater etc.. the last almost 8 months have made a drastic difference in my cardiovascular stamina. I have done the same hikes now 3 years in a row and BY FAR this year was the most enjoyable. There is no doubt my lungs, heart, and overall health is exponentially better since switching from analogs to vaping.
-
The exact advice I would give. Once you go bottom feeder and glass you will never go back to top feeders. At least most that I know do not. I think I have finally given away all my plastic top feeders to new vapers. After using glass if I take a draw off anything not glass, all I can taste is plastic.
