  1. I understand what you are saying. I have 6 KPT2s in rotation. 4 of them are perfect but two have distinctly tighter draws with the same liquid in them. I tried new bases, changing coils, and looked for a clogged air-hole but haven't found anything. When off the battery, they all are the same. Its when connected to my Vamo, Spinner, or standard battery that there is a huge difference. I just chalked it up to slight manufacturing variance and put liquids I use "every once in a while" in those two.
  2. If you haven't always gotten the aftertaste then I would replace the coil. If you have gotten an aftertaste from day 1 you either have liquid that needs to be steeped or that just is not good. You can have the most expensive unit on earth with the newest technology but a nasty flavor will always taste nasty.
  3. Reason #78 to not buy vaping gear off eBay and to stick to reputable vendors.
  4. I always have juice on the top of my battery no matter the tank. They are tighter than the old version, and several I have in rotation have very different draws. Not sure why except small inconsistencies in production maybe. 5 of mine are perfect but two have noticeably different and much tighter draws with the same liquid configuration and coil resistance.
  5. I know, to each their own, but I find the draw of the KPT 2 to be almost too tight. I do have one KPT2 that is noticeably tighter than the other 6 in my case, not sure whats up with that. I may do some drilling on it to see if I can loosen it up. Its almost like a Vivi Nova, or drinking a milkshake through a coffee stirring straw, same thing lol.
  6. I have the V3 and use both Mini Davides with Ego connection and KPT 2 with 510 connection. I probably use KPT 2 over 95% of the time. I have never had an issue. I disclaim however I never had a V2 so one version can make a difference.
  7. Haven't done tobacco flavors in 6 months but always liked mixing a little fruit flavor in with them.
  8. Once you go glass you will be amazed at the difference but for some reason my wife still prefers her T3Ss she has used for 5-6 months now. Either way Davide or Protank are the way to go for glass imo.
  9. All my wife Vapes is Peppermint and Spearmint both extra flavor. All she has used for the last 5 months or so is T3S and not one has cracked, leaked or had any negative impact from it.
  10. IMHO all Vision clearos suck hard. How they can make such great batteries and fail so hard on the clearos is beyond me.
  11. I love(d) Fuzion until they changed their base from 65vg 35pg to "No pg added". I would steep them if bought recently. For months I ordered from them pretty much exclusively. I would go days or weeks without changing from Endless Summer abd when I did it was to Unicorn Blood. I ordered both in the 125ml bottles I went through so much. After steeping a month the new Endless summer is tasting the same as it used to on the first draw after my APV sits a while abd the wick is soaked. The second draw is flavorless and the third is dry, and I am no chain Vaper. I have to take 3-4 draws without power to soak the wick between draws. It is my opinion that when they stopped adding PG it made their liquids too thick to wick properly. I'm going to try everything I can to fix it since Endless Summer in its original form was 2-3 times better than any other liquid I have ever tried and I have tried a lot. If I can't though I have most likely made my last order from them. They did try to make it right. They refunded my last 125ml order and sent me another bottle but it's the same. Not even a relative of the flavor I was getting a couple months ago. They sent out an email saying they had found a way to lower their prices and since then I have not liked their flavors at all. Not so much the flavor of the liquid changed it's the consistency that makes it not wick as well as the old stuff. Don't want to bash them as they went out of their way to make it right, but it's not their service that changed it's the product I cannot seem to make myself happy with.
  12. I didnt like the SVD personally when I held it in the local store. When I was trying to decide between the SVD and VAMO I spent a lot of time comparing the two and I didnt like the way it felt and am not a fan of telescoping APVs anyway. Its a personal choice thing, but I was not a fan. It was too heavy and felt sort of, whats the word, clunky maybe? Hard to put my finger on it but once I held the Vamo the decision for me was easy. I have never heard anyone say anything bad about the SVDs functionality and I never actually "used" it, only held and checked it out.
  13. Never heard that. The T3S is an Ego threaded device and I have used both Mini Davides that are Ego threaded and KPT2s that are 510 threaded with no issues on my V3. It has the same threads as a Vision Spinner or any other battery. Never had a V2.
  14. When my preferred liquid vendor changed their formula it threw me for a loop until I added a similar flavor from another vendor and it made it better than the original. Now if I can figure out how to dilute the consistency (they stopped adding PG to their liquids and it is so thick it doesnt wick properly) without affecting the flavor I will be ecstatic. Maybe I order the flavor I mix into it on a 10-1 basis in 100%PG and that may be enough to thin it out enough so I do not have to prime the damn wick every time I want to take a second draw. When I let it sit for a few minutes the first draw is pure bliss, the second less flavor, and the third tastes like burned hair smells. It gets old having to take two or three non powered draws to prime the wick before engaging the power.
  15. You have more problems with APVs than I have ever seen lol. I do not know of a "list" of APVs but Sweet-Vapes has more in one place than any other vendor I have seen. Of course you know I am a huge Vamo fanboy haha, so I haven't really looked.
  16. I play with this all the time. I normally vape at 18mg but like to have something a little higher on hand in case of a rough day. I usually do this with Spearmint. I buy 50ml of 24mg and 50ml of 16mg and mix them in a 100ml bottle yielding 100ml of 20mg for the high stress moments or when I have to stealth vape and need a little to go a long way. With 16-18mg liquids I am fine under normal circumstances but even almost 8 months analog free sometimes its just not enough.
  17. From a Vamo owners perspective, it is the only APV I actually can say I "like". I am sure the others function the same way but I either do not like the way they look, feel, or the cost. For $40ish the Vamo is the best value out there imo. You can get a Vamo, 2 AW IMR 18650s, a 2bay Nitecore all for around $100. My Spinners and stock Egos are now backups that I only use when a lanyard is necessary. Otherwise my Vamo goes everywhere I go lol.
  18. Yea I am no help with rebuilding. In my mind the time to rebuild coils is worth more than the cost of a new coil lol. Either way I hope you get it settled. After almost 8 months of vaping if I were to abandon glass and go back to plastic, I would use the T3S and it wouldnt even be close. They are still all my wife uses, and I fill and maintain her tanks for her and she has 0 problems with factory coils.
  19. The above bolded always happens, at least to me. Whenever I unscrew a tank there is always a droplet of liquid on the battery whether from condensation or not. It is no indication of a good or bad coil imo.
  20. A change in altitude will do the same thing. I cross the Appalachians on a lot of trips East and I have learned to just get ready to do the process when I arrive at my destination. Even the slightest altitude change will create pressure and force liquid into the post.
  21. Congrats! I remember when I was counting the days, then it becomes weeks, and then months, and soon I will be referring to it in years. Stick with it, it works!
  22. Overnight Iso Alcohol soak followed by a thorough rinsing and drying seems to do the trick for me, but in all honesty I have yet to use any I have done this to and they are in a pint glass now almost half full. I think I am going back to treating them as disposable lol. Too cheap not to imo.
  23. Ok this may sound harsh BUT As someone who has 6 KPT2s and 6 T3Ss in the rotation for months (going on a year!), I feel comfortable in saying that a very high percentage of the time problems with leaking and gurgling are user error and-or improper maintenance. I use anywhere from 100% PG to "No PG added" and never ever have a problem with them anymore. I do not remove wicks, rebuild, add wicks, or any of the other high maintenance things people here do. I expect things to work out of the box and in my experience most do once you get in a rhythm of how to properly use and maintain them. I think people expect it to be as easy as lighting up an analog and the only worry was your lighter running out of fluid. There are going to be times things do not work properly and need maintenance due to the a number of factors. If you follow these steps I assure you your gurgling issues will be gone. 1. Use only genuine coils for your particular unit, throw away any coils that came "free" with your unit 2. At each fill thoroughly swab and dry the center shaft after blowing any residual condensation from the coil 3. After filling ensure there is no residual condensation or liquid in the center post 4 If when you reattach the base there is still gurgling, try blowing out and clean one more time 5 If after all this it still leaks or gurgles, replace the coil Believe me when I started vaping I had the same issues a lot of you have now, but people are too quick to say there is something wrong with a particular unit or tank-clearo whatever. In most cases its not the equipment as much as the manner in which it is used and maintained.
