  1. Gonna try this tonight I have decided to tinker as I practice being a drinker!
  2. To do this I have to remove the rubber ring over the wicks and pull out the post to expose the wicks? I remember Rixter posting a step by step rebuild pictures added thread but it starts with a disassembled coil. I would 1. Remove the rubber thing that sits atop the wick 2. Pull out the post 3 Replace flavor wicks with a little cotton 4. Reassemble and vape away? Am I on the right track there Medic?
  3. I agree 100% with your 2nd paragraph. I may try it, not sure. Hoping the removing of 1 wick vs 2 will solve the issue. If not I will probably just use a little cotton off a Q-Tip to see if that helps or just say eff it and order 125ml of this Bahama Mama from ECBlends which is sure to take a solid place in the daily rotation lol.
  4. I had actually done it on two tanks, and one I removed both and the other I only removed one. The one I removed one on did not flood and sat overnight but was full and had not been heated or used since putting in the coil with the one flavor wick removed. I am just over the tweaking and tinkering and just want my stuff to work. If I didn't have over 200ml of this liquid and didnt like it so much I would just give it away. Working on options to replace it with something else I can vape all day. I think I found that.
  5. Ok getting too detailed for me lol. First thing I am going to try is removing one flavor wick instead of both. If it still floods I just will not order any more liquid from the source that changed their formula to not add any PG and now it is too thick to wick. I am not going to get into re-wicking, cotton boiling, drying and all that. I barely found time to eat lunch and dinner yesterday.
  6. May be dumb question but cotton like from the end of a Q-Tip or a standard cotton ball like my wife uses for nail polish and such?
  7. I have a question I probably could find but wanted to ask about anyway. Everyone that knows me here knows my woes with my favorite liquid supplier switching to an all VG base and it changing the flavor. First draw is heaven, second less tasteful, third burned. I have to let it sit for a while before I do not get a dry hit or take several non powered pulls to prime it before I heat the coil. Either way it was getting old so I tried what was suggested by a few people of removing flavor wicks from my KPT2 coils. Here is my question. When I did this last night I was like HOLY CRAP this is awesome. All night long it wicked great, tasted like the liquid I used to love, everything worked fine. In comes the problem. This morning my tank had flooded to the point I couldn't hit it. I blew it out holding it upside down and it would hit a few times then just flood again. Long story short, I did something wrong lol. On the top of the coil when I remove the rubber cap there are two distinctly smaller wicks on top of a larger wick. I removed both of the smaller wicks and slid the cap back down. What did I do wrong? Should I only remove one? Did I miss a step or is this just the risk you take when you mess with these things?
  8. I liked the dragons tear at first but it has lately lost its spot in my rotation.
  9. Bump to say I am stubborn but once I actually used the advice to remove the flavor wicks, problem is solved. This house is clear!
  10. To me, it tastes like a Bahama Mama spot on.
  11. Drifting toward ECBlends as my favorite overall. I have tried a lot I like and a lot I do not but this Bahama Mama I just opened and tried is beyond amazing. 60vg 40pg 18mg and dam its good. I usually steep ECs liquids for 1-2 weeks before even trying them but the smell wouldn't let me wait, and I am glad I didn't. Cant wait to see what steeping does.
  12. 50ml ECblends Bahama Mama 60vg 40pg 18mg May have found my new favorite flavor. Amazing out of the box, can't wait to see what steeping will do for this one.
  13. I wouldn't buy toilet paper off eBay. Imo, the best policy is to buy authentic gear from reputable suppliers that are well established in the community.
  14. And its not like the savings are huge, only marginal imo. The extra paid domestically is well worth it for the simple fact of having some sort of recourse should something go awry.
  15. Just a risk I am not willing to take to save a few bucks as little as I buy.
  16. 3x as much? I have never seen a Vision Spinner 1300mah over $25 anywhere I shop.
  17. Now HERE is a VaporRapper
  18. Its like Celebrity Jeopardy!
  19. Its all in the liquid configuration and coil resistance not the tank.
  20. I believe you too lol, and I never even paid attention to your name I am usually too busy trying to decode your posts into decipherable English lol. I will say this, as a very very liberal person, the use of the word "rape" in a name is going to be offensive to some in most communities and comparing that to e-cig bans is a far stretch even for the "car dealer".
  21. Every tank is exposed to gravity, and every tank builds condensation as you vape. If you vape half a tank today then set that tank to the side and pick it up tomorrow, it will most likely gurgle. Everyone has different results and I live in a humid high altitude area that will make tanks more prone to have larger amounts of condensation and atmospheric pressure too. I have found much less of this with my KPT 2s than any other I have tried but have never had any tank that was problematic in that way. Having to fill tanks for myself and my wife, I like tanks that are easier to fill and even though the Mini Davides arent impossible, it to me is a much more tedious job than the KPT2 or even the plastic T3S that my wife prefers.
  22. Some people do not understand this is not ECF, not a 10,000 member forum with a bunch of kiddies. We are largely adults that carry on conversations in a mature fashion. In all honesty I just assumed it was actually "VaporRapper" and he just didn't know how to spell it. I mean I am not going to ***** and moan about it personally. I am much more offended by the inability of some to express thoughts with the written word lol. I have just decided that "I am seriouzly gong to stip risponding to threadzz that are grimmatikally slottered." LMAO
  23. All things considered I would choose a KPT 2 over any of the above. I used to use Mini Davides exclusively and had 12 of them at one point. I traded 6 used mini Davides for 3 new KPT 2s and kept the other 6 as my tasting tanks. Great flavor, and like Tam said every tank is going to gurgle and flood at some point the key is knowing what to do when it does. I can now fix a gurgling tank doing 70 going down the interstate lol. I cannot speak about the Aspire since I am a "find what works and stick with it" kind of guy. As far as the mini Davides go the upside is they provide great flavor and a perfect draw for me, the downside is they are much harder to fill than my KPT 2s and my wifes T3Ss and the bottom can get stuck and is hard to get unscrewed with certain flavors that use sweetener even when being very careful to not get any in the threading. Just my 2 cents.
