A lot of people like MBV, I am not one of them. Not going to bash them, just find their flavors all have a certain taste I do not get in the liquids from my other vendors. In all reality, its like saying who has the best burger, pizza, whiskey, wine....whatever lol.

Your tastebuds are the best indicator of when to change a coil, cotton, wick, whatever. If it tastes burned replace it, if not vape on!

April the 23rd will be my one year and I down to 18mg with no real goal of a further drop. If I do it will be a while. I still keep a tank of 24 mg around. My wife who dropped analogs for the vape the same day still is only 24mg with no thoughts of dropping down. Everyone has a different goal. Mine is not to give up nicotine, I rather like it lol. Mine is to give up tobacco and my wife and I have both been tobacco free for 10 months now!

24mg in a high PG% would be my recommendation. 70-30 or even 80-20 at first.

If I were to start today knowing what I know now I would get this kit and upgrade to 900mah Spinners and Kanger Pro Tank V2. I do not get much liquid from them anymore as I prefer Fuzion, VapeDudes, and ECBlends. I will say their "Traditional Tobacco" (Sweet-Vapes) is the closest liquid I ever found to an analog. It got me through the initial "I need this to taste like a cigarette" phase. I could care less about food coloring as long as it is food grade coloring. I am fairly certain one of my favorite flavors, Unicorn Blood, doesn't naturally become bright red lol. Also I read someone in this thread I think, been busy day, say liquids should be clear or amber if not colored BUT many liquids will darken over time or as they steep. Endless Summer is clear, almost cloudy out of the box but after a few weeks sitting it turns into a fairly bright yellow color.

Also top coil tanks and clearos will make for a hotter vape. Using Mini Davides and Kanger Pro Tanks, that are bottom coil, the heat is hardly noticeable to me.

Saw John Stossell puffing on one on Fox and Friends this morning. Also went to a hockey game last month and there was a smoking area outside. It was kind of hot in the arena so I went out anyway and of the 100 or so people out there roughly 1 in 3 were vaping. It has caught on hugely in the last year. One year ago it was an hour and a half drive to the nearest shop now there are 4 or 5 within 15 minutes lol. I still order exclusively online though. In my company of 73 employees, well at least in my sales department of 28 people including office there are only 2 smokers left. As of last week with my latest convert, there are now 9 vapers.

I keep a bottle of 80pg 20vg Spearmint in 24mg that I use in public places. Usually a Mini Davide on a 400mah Ego Mini. If I hold the vapor in for about 12-15 seconds there is none that comes out. I have used it at scouting events (Yes, I am a scout leader), school events, on airplanes, and a multitude of places vaping is discouraged or outright not allowed. Not once have I even been asked about what I was doing. I think it is funny to ban something that has no evidence of use whatsoever. I saw John Stossell talking on a news show this morning about how stupid the bans are and even puffed on an e-cig on the air. Ultimately any ban or enforcement will be next to impossible to enforce.

Spent money for the first time in over 2 months and ordered the wife a couple 650mah Spinners, 125ml of Endless Summer, 250ml of the wifeys ECBlends Peppermint and a bunch of coils.

At this point I only use Fuzion (Endless Summer and Unicorn Blood 18mg) and VapeDudes (Spearmint 18 and 24mg 60vg-40pg) for myself, although the only flavor my wife uses is ECBlends Peppermint 70pg 30vg 24mg. I guess technically that is three lol. We order them all in either 100ml or 125ml sizes. I have tried a TON of flavors and have arrived these three are enough for me. I sometimes go weeks only vaping Endless Summer, obv my favorite overall, without even realizing how long it has been since I had another flavor on. Everyone is different though, my wife hates both my flavors from Fuzion but she is stuck on her mint lol.

Not a MBV fan personally but I have yet to order a liquid that I did not like out of the package that I liked after steeping. Steeping has made a few better but almost a year and 100+ flavors later I have yet to find a liquid I did not like at first but did like after steeping. Just my experience personally. I have it refined at this point to two liquid suppliers and 3 flavors and although I usually leave the top off one flavor to allow it to steep the entire use of the 125ml bottle but it's still good the day it arrives but does get more flavorful as it steeps and darkens.

Want to echo what Troy said about buying large bottles. Wait, don't do it at first. I would wait at least 4-6months before buying large bottles over 30 ml. I bet I have sold at a loss or given away 2000ml or more because I tasted it, loved it, and ordered a big bottle and my taste would change. I probably have close to 400ml in the "I will never use this " pile waiting to give it to some of my vaping employees.

Could care less as long as what I use it easy to use and I get my nic fix. I need no more vapor than what my 50-60%VG liquids out of a KPT2 or Mini Davide produce.

I do not think I have ever had a bad coil that did not come with the tank, lucky I guess. I go through a lot too I usually switch them out about once a week. I will never rebuild, not unless all of a sudden I cannot buy them for around $1 sometimes less if I can get in a co-op.

I have never had a 1.8ohm Kanger Coil read 1.8 ohms. Its always either 1.9 or 2.0 on my Vamo. Same with 2.2s, although I have had a few actually hit 2.2 but most are 2.3 and 2.4 lol. Its not an exact science. Well the measurement is, the wrapping a coil to produce an exact resistance is not.

Me neither Tam. I use KPT2s all night at home and Davide Minis all day on the go or at work and have 0 issues. I mean no offense to anyone but with some of the complaints I have seen lately I am wondering what the hell people are doing to their tanks haha.

What is the pg vg ratio of the liquid? Sounds exactly like the problem I had with my favorite flavor that is mostly VG. I had to start removing one of the two flavor wicks from the coil and it fixed my issue.

Wait till it's 2 months, 3 months, approaching a year etc... It gets easier and easier.

Take off the base, toss the coil, soak in alcohol or vodka for a few hours occasionally swishing around to get it as clean as you can, let dry on a paper towel, put in new coil, vape away. My wife uses the T3S and I clean hers about every month or so.
