  1. Generally when I see a drop in vapor production coupled with the battery-tank connection getting warmer than usual it is a result of the inherent condensation that develops in the shaft and runs down the shaft through the coil and onto the battery. It sounds like you have checked that, so I am out of ideas. Have never had any of my units act that way that I havent been able to fix by either blowing the liquid out of the coil and drying the battery connection or just replacing the coil.
  2. I only use Kanger Pro Tank v2 and Anyvape Davide Mini. Great performance, all glass, not super expensive, disassemble easily for cleaning and replacement coils are only around $1. The Aspire Nautilus seems to be the next great thing from what I read but it's more than I care to spend and am not sure what it could offer my current tanks do not.
  3. In my cupholder on my side of the reclining love seat in my couple cave I have a Spinner topped with Davide Mini and Endkess Summer 18mg, Vamo V3 topped with KPT 2 and Unicorn Blood 18mg, and a Ego Mini with Davide Mini with Spearmint 24mg. I switch between the three all the time although I have this year started leaving the Vamo at home mostly.
  4. Also possible the caramel is the only flavor strong enough to override the plastic and when in glass, the other flavors come out enough to mute the caramel. It do not think it is possible to have glass tanks mute flavors more than a plastic tank.
  5. Not sure if you are doing anything wrong but not many will agree that the plastic T3S will mute flavor less than a glass KPT2 or Davide. I used a T3S not too long ago and all I could taste was plastic. I DO think it is the best plastic clearo on the market today, but no way in my mind it measures up to the glass tanks. The only think I can think of is that you like the taste of plastic lol.
  6. Just glancing at them and wow are these things expensive, especially the replacement coils. I am very happy with what I have and have no plans to buy one but are these coils similar in life to the KPT coils? If so I would go broke lol.
  7. I pretty much exclusively order my hardware from Sweet-Vapes.com. I also only use AW IMR 18650s, not a fan of E-Fest. I have a couple but they last a noticeably shorter time than the AWs and I bought them all at the same time and rotate them equally with a system. I have mainly used Sweet-Vapes.com since the beginning, they have always taken care of me and have a full spectrum of colors and selection available. I try to order from Brian at Veteran Vaper because he is a good friend and has been a member of this forum since the beginning but his selection is limited and I usually only order every other month or so and when I do I maximize my shipping by loading up on coils and such. As I progress in my vaping life I am realizing simple is better for me. I have gotten to where I only use my Vamo at home at night and even then I still use my Spinners a lot. The lanyard on my 1300mah or my 650 mah in my pocket is just so much more convenient and performs to a level that more than satisfies me.
  8. Denture cleaner? That's a first. To me the biggest difference is the consistency of the vape. With any top coil I used, and most people do use them in the beginning because they are what usually come in the cheaper starter kits, the taste would diminish at about a half a tank and then start tasting burned unless I swirled the liquid around. That is what led me to the bottom coil tanks, and the T3S is a great one for a plastic clearomizer but once you try glass you will never go back. Personally I would recommend a Kanger Pro Tank 2 if you are looking for a larger heavier tank and if not, go with a Davide Mini. I am not claiming to have found the perfect "topper" but I wouldn't buy or spend money on anything else. My wife swore by the T3S and still uses it when on the go but once she tried one of my Pro Tanks she immediately claimed 3 of them for herself. No biggie though, I have started using my Davide Minis more anyway everywhere but home. At home its the KPT 2 on my Vamo, anywhere else is Davide Mini on one of many various Vision Spinners.
  9. I just pay a few extra bucks and order from one of my reputable US vendors. I find the batteries last so long and I use so few the savings by rolling the dice ordering directly from China. I don't use a lot of batteries though. I have 6 18650s I rotate through and a bunch of Vision Spinners so the savings for me would be inconsequential.
  10. At home Vamo V3, KPT 2, and Unicorn Blood or Bahama Mana On the go one of my many ego styles, usually a 650mah Spinner with mini Davide on top filled with Endless Summer.
  11. I only go to a smoking area if I do not think I can get away with vaping inside. I have discreetly vaped about everywhere since I started last April and have yet to have anyone say anything. I will add that I keep a tank of my 24mg for such occasions and if I cannot be discreet I will go to the bathroom. I can appreciate the chance to educate people but I am not smoking so I will not just automatically go into a smoking area. I have vaped in airports, on airplanes, in the mall, grocery, etc... In a restaurant I usually go to the men's room unless in a secluded area. Overall, other than improved health, the ability to vape where I was not allowed to smoke was a close second consideration when I decided to make the switch. If I thought I would have to go outside the same as smoking, I am not sure I would have ever made the switch. I could not disagree more with those that say "If you cannot smoke in a spot you should not vape there either". A theater might be a bit much, but a theater bathroom is not lol.
  12. I regularly use 60-70% VG in KPTs and Davides with standard coils. Any more than 70vg and I have to modify the coil so it will wick and not get dry hits.
  13. I would say it's about 75% VG but would be guessing. I discussed it with Jared and it fluctuates between 65 and 75VG depending on the flavor. That's why they say no pg added instead of exact percentages.
  14. They call it "no PG added" as opposed to 100%vg since they use PG based flavoring or that contains PG.
  15. http://www.fuzionvapor.com/e-juice/ Endless Summer and Unicorn Blood are my two main flavors I order them 125ml at a time.
  16. Yea lose the CE4s and get her some liquid about 60-70%VG in higher nic. The difference is amazing. Over 90% of the time I am vaping Fuzion flavors that have no PG added, although there is some in the flavoring a which is good it thins it out. Almost no throat hit but amazing flavor and vapor at 18 and 24mg. Every time I grab a tank of anything else I can't help but go back to my two staple flavors from them. Even when I order similar PG VG ratios anywhere else there is a harshness that my Fuzion flavors just don't have.
  17. Spearmint and sweet tea are strange bedfellows lol
  18. My thoughts exactly lol. I have no worry they will take care of it. I pretty much order all my hardware there. They have been the epitome of consistency.
  19. Gotten a bad battery. Already emailed Dayna at sweet-vapes I'm sure they will take care of it. I now have 10 Vision batteries (between the wife and I) and pretty sure this one is a dud. Got two the same day, one is great the other one lasts about 25% as long, shows fully charged in less than an hour, and I can switch a tank between this one and the other one I got the same time with noticeably different performance. It also seems to get considerably warmer to the touch when in use than the others. Weird, but most likely just a dud.
  20. They going away? I still have a dozen or so. Last I looked Brian at VV had them in good supply they are just twice as expensive as KPT coils.
  21. They were my first tank-clearo I used with changeable coils. I still have 7 or 8 in my box of goodies but would have to hit serious hard times to use them again but you never know. I think they blow the Vivi Nova and about every other top coil device away.
  22. Backwards, the lower the ohms the hotter the vape, and the faster liquid burns. A 2.2ohm is a good all around resistance IMO. 2.5 is too much for me, I occasionally use 1.8s but I keep 3-4 boxes of. 2.2s on hand at all times. Great from 6.5-8w depending on flavor. But yes a VW device will adjust the voltage going to the coil based on resistance to maintain a constant vape.
