Cesar I think you will be the first person I have ever hidden from my forum view in almost 3 years active here. You do not know at all how to interact with other people. Comp is a long time respected member, a great guy and you are a noob that refuses to take advice and gives horrible advice and this is the last straw for me. Has nothing to do with grammar more name calling and overall assholish tone to your posts. See ya later, well I won't. Hope I wasn't too road about it.

Are you the "Last Member"? LOL one of my employees wore a straight up Members Only jacket to work last year and got hazed so hard. One of the guys even called his wife and told her he was the "Last Member" and she needed to dress him better haha. -
Exactly, especially when you use KPT single coils lol. The slightest drop in performance and I just toss it and pop a new one on. Last week my IStick somehow came unlocked and I took a big pull at 50w with my 1.8ohm coil and after I was done gagging, the coil had to be laid to rest. Fried that *****.
-
Those are general guidelines for maximizing performance and life of your coil. I vape at 7.5-8w using 1.8ohm depending on the age of the coil (as the taste starts to degrade I have found cranking from 7.5 to 8w will keep it going for another day or two. Its still subjective and no chart can say what any one person will prefer.

Fadoravapor.com Fuzionvapor.com Ecblendsflavors.com All have great flavors. I loathe B&Ms and to date have not spent one cent in one. Those around here are terrible anyway and just a step above a plastic rack at a convenience store in terms of knowledge.

I said on a Saturday that on Monday I was done and made the swap and really never had a problem. I think anyone trying to quit should use 24mg period and get a decent battery and tank (you can get great equipment for the cost of a couple cartons of smokes). Within a couple days I knew I would never have another cigarette and that was 4-23-13 and I haven't since. With that said my wife is a couple months behind me because she kept an "emergency pack" in her car. Until she did away with that she never fully committed. With a few exceptions I would hazard to guess the vast majority of people will continue to smoke if you have them on hand. After about a month she finally got tired of it (and as I regained my smell and tastebuds and she did we both realized how disgusting we had smelled for so long) and gave them up alltogether. About 3 months in to her and 4 in for me we traded Yukons and found a pack under the seat and laughed as we tossed it in the garbage. Its all there for you to quit but it takes three things 1. Equipment good enough to transport a sufficient amount of vapor and nicotine 2. Willingness and truly being ready to do it 3. Liquid that you like AND has an appropriate level of nicotine to curb your cravings Best of luck! -
Same here. They have been my almost exclusive hardware supplier since day 1

Gummy Blood is nasty, I will give you that. I never got a chemical aftertaste but I only use one flavor from them "Endless Summer". It is the only flavor in any of my tanks for over 2 years I like it so much. After trying it everything else I have tried literally tastes bad now. Tastes vary in liquids. There are even people that like Dekang and there is NOTHING I have tried since starting vaping that tasted that bad to me lol.

Side effects from "quitting" smoking
bcartervol98 replied to cesar's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
Luckily I never had any symptoms except a bit of heartburn. I rarely drink water and never had a hydration issue but I know many that have and Tam is spot on there. My IStick sleeps between my pillows and I puff till I fall asleep and then hit it a couple times if I wake up to go to the bathroom without ill effects. I did drop from 24mg down to 18mg because it was causing heartburn and I never realized how much better 18mg tasted lol. Its just that I go through about 75% more liquid in a day at 18mg than I did 24mg. I said I had no issues with dehydration and that is not entirely true. Memorial Day before last (2013) we were on our boat all weekend at an on the water festival we go to every year and on Friday night and Saturday-Saturday night I drank like I was in Panama City on Spring Break lol. Late Saturday evening I started noticing my ankles swelling and had pins and needles in my extremities. We went home early Sunday and I propped my feet up but had not urinated in over 12 hours. I started drinking water and more water and still nothing coming out. I got up on Monday and went to work and by 3pm I did not know where I was. They took me to the hospital where I was given IV fluids and had a host of tests run and the official diagnosis was "Congestive Heart Failure brought on by severe dehydration". I am not sure how much to blame on the 24mg nic I was chain vaping as I finished a 1.75 of Makers Mark in a 24 hour period in 95 degree weather before we bought the new boat with AC lol. The thing to remember is everyone's physiological makeup is different and things ingested will always have different effects on different people. When I quit smoking my allergies instantly disappeared (mainly pollen) and I do not even have to medicate in the worst pollen. Where we live is ranked #1 of any city over 100k population with regards to outdoor allergies. -
Those that know me know that is all I vape. Just got an email where they are offering 25% off through Sunday at midnight by entering coupon code "SANTA25". I went ahead and ordered another 500ml of my flavor, was like buy 3 get 1 free! Just sharing. www.fuzionvapor.com

Ok my thoughts. Keep away from the garbage starter kits. For the cost of 2 cartons of cigarettes you could buy a Starter kit with: 2 Vision Spinner 2 1600mah batteries 2 Tanks (I prefer Aspire Davides or Kanger Pro Tanks without the Aero base but only use the single coils I will not buy any tank that will not use single coils) 1 Charger and wall adapter (I would buy an extra for $10-$12) Case Then as far as liquids go you will have to experiment. I actually agree with one thing Cesar said. I would probably not been successful had I not found a tobacco flavor that did a good enough job of mimicking an analog. For me that was Sweet-Vapes Traditional Tobacco. Most vapers I know started that way BUT at the 3-6 month time frame when their tastebuds started to heal the taste of tobacco starts to be a turn off and then they start exploring other flavors. I went from 80pg-20vg 24mg Tobacco to a Max VG Strawberry Lemonade blend in 18mg that I still use exclusively today. My wife from day 1 has used 24mg 80pg-20vg ECBlends Peppermint and only recently dropped to 18mg. I see us both being at 18mg the rest of the time we vape. As far as suppliers go I use 3 only and have never gotten anything but great service!: Equipment: sweet-vapes.com Liquids: fuzionvapor.com and ecblendsflavors.com

Tried dripping, too high maintenance for me. Reminded me of my ex wife. I need ease of "Fill,Charge,Vape" ....like my current wife of 14 years. Beautiful, it just works and very low maintenance. Well, as long as she gets everything she wants (which she does) LOL

Living in Tennessee we do not have the strictest gun laws and I am a gun enthusiast as well. As far as the bolded I would caution anyone to not "throw the baby out with the bathwater" and generalize, just my 2 cents. I pretty much keep my mouth shut about all religions because I am not religious and see fallacies in about all sects of any religion. EDIT to add I am not looking for a debate on the Muslim religion as a whole except will add they are entitled to the same Constitutional protection as Baptists or Catholics. I have several friends that are devout Muslims and even have one in my Scout Pack I am the leader of that are more normal than most people I know from other religions.

And on all my hardware in my 2.5 years of vaping I still have spent a sum total of less than 2 months of smoking between the wife and I. Then again I used Vision Spinners exclusively for a long time and could care less about the newest shiny stuff lol. It took me 3 months to decide to buy the wife and I an Istick 50w and it is just for the 3-4 day battery life. You do not have to break the bank to have a good supply of backups like some people do. I personally spent roughly $550 a month on analogs. I cannot fathom spending anywhere near that on Vape gear lol. My wife and I vape on a budget of about $100 a month give or take.
-
I cannot even list all the backups I have at this point especially now that we switched to the IStick 50w. Probably 15 assorted Spinner and Spinner 2s with a half dozen chargers and all worts, I buy coils by the 50 pack (when I open the new 50 pack I order another) and when I get down to 125ml of my flavor I order another 250ml. I keep 2 backup batteries, a tank, a bottle of liquid and a charger on the boat, 2 backups, a tank, bottle of liquid and a charger at work and the rest are at home. I want to keep a backup kit in my car but it just gets too hot and that concerns me.

Kevo his father was on the terror watch list, he had traveled to the Middle East recently and just two days ago posted on an Islamic Radical blog the following: Mr. Abdulazeez maintained a blog where he posted about Islam, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, which tracks international terrorist groups. A July 13 post stated that “life is short and bitter” and that Muslims should not let “the opportunity to submit to Allah … pass you by.” I am not sure what we are watching but if I am having to give up some of my rights to privacy the government surveillance they could damn well have done a better job here I think. People like him are the ones the radicals will prey on since they are here and have no record.

The "sweet spot" refers to your preferred power settings paired with a certain atomizer resistance. My "sweet spot" for the equipment and single flavor I use is 7.5w @1.8ohms = 3.8v. Every liquid has a sweet spot that is usually found by dialing the power up until you get a slight burned taste then power down a click or two and viola! And what Tam said x 1000

I am sure it is not a secret to anyone not living under a rock that an Islamic jihadist murdered 4 Marines and seriously injured a Naval Officer, a police officer and another Marine yesterday only about 75 miles from my home. Maybe this should be in "Rants" but since its news I am gonna post it here and throw a couple talking points out there. First what is it in the human condition that could make someone do this? Was it truly "for their religion" or was it something different? I mean in their religion they gain rewards in heaven for the act of killing infidels right? Is that just rhetoric or true? I am not very religious at all and do not understand. Is it mental illness and religion is just a scapegoat? I mean when the guy shot up the Church in South Carolina and the kid in Colorado in the movie theater and I never heard about their religion. Now I will say what I think the answer is to the above, First I think that 99% of Muslims in America are peace loving people chasing the same dream we all are. Lets talk about the 1% though whom I will refer to as extremists. It is obvious that the extremists see their destiny to be the destruction of freedom and the American dream of true freedom. What they fail to realize is event after event like this only hurts the 99% that are peace loving because lets be frank, we know our enemy is not named "Steve" or "John". Events in the last few years have made me turn my back on my total disdain for profiling to a certain extent. There were signs ignored about this killer and if we have the surveillance capabilities we tout ourselves to have there is no reason he was not at least on the radar after seeing some of his social media and Islamic Extremist blog. I think these terror groups will prey on others like him, those that have never been in trouble for anything but are looking for meaning and may be depressed or even suicidal and shower them with promises of a better afterlife. Its really kind of scary because I do not think this will be an isolated incident not repeated. The Fort Hood shooting that is still classified as "workplace violence" even though Hassad was yelling Alla Akbar as he was killing US Soldiers on US Soil it is not classified as domestic terrorism and even this federal government says a domestic terror plot is discovered and thwarted an average of every 33 days or something close to that. The last point I will make about this are these damn "Gun Free Zones". WTF is that about? Do these supposedly intelligent people somehow think men and women in uniform that are trained to handle a weapon should not have one? To me a "Gun Free Zone" is like a HUGE neon sign that says "Hello, welcome, we cannot defend ourselves". I have tried to support President Obama and his administration since voting for him in 2008 but have steadily lost confidence over the last 7 years and if he wants to do the right thing in the wake of this event, then IMMEDIATELY issue an executive order lifting the Gun Free Zones when dealing with our military bases, recruitment offices and schools. Let those trained to protect us protect themselves. For any Marines or any other soldier out there I shed a tear for you today.

Knowing Vape Shops in general (I know a generalization they are not all the same) this does not surprise me. To this day I have yet to spend one cent in a local vape shop they are about as knowledgeable as a 30 day vaper that has read and searched the site for advice lol. All you need to open a Vape shop is the capital there is no knowledge requirement unfortunately.

Thats why I use KPT Single coils lol. At about 80 cents each I change them as soon as I notice even the slightest decline in flavor or vapor production.
-
Well I do not sub-ohm so I am not sure about the life of those BUT the standard Kanger single coils I use seem to drop off in flavor and vapor production about every 7-8 tankful's (3ml tank) and I just change them out as cheap as they are. I am using 1.8ohm at 7.5w and never even look at the setting. 22-30w blows my mind. Anything over 8 tastes burned to me with my liquid and configuration. Somehow my IStick got unlocked and turned up to 18w once and I about choked from the burned taste lol.
