I really do not want to sound argumentative when I say this but I swab out the shaft at every fillup, change coils about every 4 or 5 tanks, and always swab out the area under the drip tip whenever I fill it up. I have yet to see anything look like anything but liquid when I do this and, imo, as long as the shaft and coil are clean and-or new I see very little need to boil or clean tanks on any sort of a regular basis. The area where the liquid is held is sealed for the most part. Now if you just unscrew the base and fill without swabbing it out and use a coil till it is absolutely shot then I can see it the need for more regular cleaning. With that said it depends on the liquid too I suppose. I used to see black spots develop in my liquids and stick to the side of my tanks when I was using cheaper liquids but havent seen that happen in a long time.

I absolutely clean every tank before the first use but after that only if there is residue or something on the glass. Since I have been using what I consider "high quality" liquids I have not felt the need to clean the tank itself especially being a one flavor guy. I do very often wipe my drip tips with an antibacterial wipe but thats about it. I do have an old tank that has been my emergency backup and has had spearmint in it probably for 6 months that I will alcohol soak a few cycles then rinse and dry. It is not easy getting mint flavors out. Once I do that I will officially be a one flavor guy lol. Going to have some happy vaping employees when I bring in my extras I do not want anymore.

I have not cleaned any of my tanks in a long time, not sure there is any reason to since I only have used one flavor for about the past 6 months.

Its all E-Liquid no matter what you vape. Blu's and other overpriced carto garbage are just pre-filled for you. There is no difference, other than taste, between a pre-filled e-cig carto and filling a tank.

My 1.8 ohm coils rarely read below 2.o or 2.1. Not sure if it is the Ohm Reading mechanism in my Vamo or what. I just go with it, they work just fine and I am not concerned over .1-.3 variance.

Back when I was first quitting and wanted a tobacco flavor I found sweet- vapes "traditional tobacco" to be the closest thing to an analog I tried.

They also take a while to charge, 4-5 hours. The light will be orange (kinda reddish) until it crosses the 30% charged threshold. Then it should shine blue until it crosses the 60% threshold. Lastly it should change to white when it is 60%+ charged. It does the opposite as you use it and it discharges.

I have two with no issues. The light should shine white when you are 60-100% charged, blue when you are 30-60% charged, and orange when below 30% charged. They also change while it is charging.

FYP. Not checking ohms of an atty before vaping it is about as smart as handling a rattlesnake drunk.

I would probably just buy pre-made coils until you gain sufficient experience to rebuild. I do not rebuild but see threads like this on a daily basis. Do you have an ohm meter? I think you need to be at least 1.5 ohms to get a standard Ego battery to fire. I am not an expert on rebuilding but only two weeks in I am not so sure trying to rebuild is the best or safest thing to do. Maybe some of those that rebuild can chime in here, but you may have burned the battery up by having too low a resistance in your coil. This is, again I think, the exact thing that can cause a battery to explode and it is better to have 2 hands than 1.

I just ordered 6 more and convert all my KPT2s.

Davide Mini is perfect as it is, or was, I only use the Anyvape Model that uses KPT coils they stopped making. The Aerobase loosens the draw on the KPT to match that of the Davide Mini and both hold 2.5ml of liquid. The new version of the Davide Mini uses Aspire dual coils and I am not a fan plus they lowered the capacity from 2.0ml. I bought a total of 12 when I found out they were changing. My newer ones are 2.0ml but my older ones are 2.5ml. I still have 4 of the older ones that holds 2.5ml I use at work. One gets me through the day. I never have had an Aerotank, I simply put the Aerotank Base on the bottom of two of my KPT 2s to try and it loosens the draw to match that of the Mini Davides. The full size Davide and full size KPT are very similar but I never bought a full size Davide so I dont know for sure. The Davide Mini looks exactly like the KPT mini but holds 1ml more liquid in its original form. The newer models are only .5 more. Either way, I have no use for a 1.5ml tank lol.

I only have the full size, KPT mini is too small for me. I need 2.5ml to get through work and like to just bring one tank and one battery (of course the Std Ego with 2ml of 24mg that sits in my cup in my office all the time as a backup).

These Aerotank Bases on the KPT 2 turn it into a completely different animal. All the way open it is exactly the draw from the Davide Mini I love! I think I am going to start calling them Hybrid Heavy Duty Davide Mini Pro Tank Aeronautical Vaping Apparatus! Now if I can just make it through another 6 hours of work I am ready for a weekend with water under my feet and Fireworks on the lake!

She doesn't like em but uses a KPT 2 now some but still has 7-8 T3S in rotation.

I have bought my last plastic ever and have already informed the wife lol. She got a taste of a KPT and I plan to give her more of my KPTs as her T3S's die.

Not sure, they are about all my wife uses with no issues.

Yea a Davide Mini but that was before I had replacements. She broke one lol. She has destroyed about 6 T3S's by dropping them and the base breaking off.
