  1. This and there is no ceiling to the cost of cancer, COPD, and heart disease caused by burning tobacco leaves and the chemicals added to them. Welcome to VT!
  2. No you cant blame them for shooting any angle they can, I would lol. I still cannot get over the transformation of the VT store. I mean when I first came to the forum it was little more than a side bar if I am being 100% honest and now you have basically everything I use cheaper than I have been paying anywhere else. Kudos my man!
  3. For those wanting to try Fuzion I just got e-mailed a code for 20% off through midnight Sunday. The code is "Fathersday"
  4. LOL no its just tough to read some of the OBVIOUS shill posts then hear the poster deny being a shill lol. I always have thought a post count minimum to post outside new members should be a requirement and it was on both forums I have either owned or been involved in. Without it there is way too much spam and people misrepresenting themselves. With 5 or 10 legitimate posts (not "yes" 5 or 10 times) its fairly easy to discern between a shill and a legitimate member.
  5. I would like this post 10 times if I could. A few bad apples.......
  6. My doctor said there are hundreds of chemicals in analogs that work as natural metabolism boosters and even though I am getting the nicotine that I crave these boosters are gone. Even though nothing else in my life changed....diet, exercise, etc... I still quickly gained weight but it is coming off now. Everyone's physiology is different.
  7. Week 5 weight loss 2.6 lbs Total loss 18 lbs Over 5% of body weight in 5 weeks
  8. Good lord what are you trying to carry with you? LOL Seriously day to day I just grab a battery and a tank and go. I keep a spare at work. What I have found is on vacation or extended trips on the boat I carry all my stuff in a leather toiletry bag that I have had since college. It fits a dozen or so batteries, a couple chargers, 125ml each of mine and my wifes liquid, extra coils, and all the stuff I need for the week.
  9. All I have vaped for about 6 months now is Endless Summer from Fuzion Vapor. I know I rave about it, but none of the other hundreds of flavors I have tried even comes close. It is a Strawberry Lemonade with a little more strawberry than lemon but is just sweet enough with a touch of tartness. Once I started vaping it all other flavors all of a sudden just do not cut it.
  10. I believe the expiration dates on e-liquid are more of a "best by" date not a hard expiration date. The main thing is nicotine degrades over time and will be a lower concentration on older liquids. With that said, I could be wrong. It doesnt last that long at my house. I either use it or give it away and now that I am a one flavor trooper I am sure it iwll never get old on me haha.
  11. Not yet but have been waiting for it to happen lol.
  12. With smoking couples it almost has to come as a package deal. For me personally I would not have a problem being successful with my switch to vaping, however if she had kept smoking I doubt I could stand to sleep in the bed with her even as hot as she is (subtle brag) lol. I cannot stand the smell now, and am embarrassed that I smelled that way for so long.
  13. Preferring Vision Spinners over Mods-APVs and KPT 2s and Davide Minis over the "newest bestest things" like Aspire and Dual Coil units helps the expenditures as well. I have batteries I paid $20 for that are still going strong 14 months later. The only batteries I have had "die" are a couple 650mah knockoff "bedazzled" ones my wife wanted lol.
  14. Got two more Vision Spinner 2s in today. Best Ego style battery ever made imo.
  15. I still have every battery in rotation I started with well over a year ago. I buy a new one every once in a while and have quite a collection of Vision Spinners and the tanks I prefer. There is a startup cost but that was recouped for me about the middle of month two and includes everything I have bought to date. It can be expensive and technical or it can be inexpensive and simple, its anyone's choice. I chose the latter.
  16. I had no issue. It does cost more if you become a hobbyist with it. If you are like me and only vape to not smoke tobacco then it is a huge saver. It cost my wife and I close to $500 a month to smoke. I have about $600 in all my equipment and other than that I spend about $30 a month on coils and about $60 on liquid. Thats a huge savings in my book.
  17. I have literally tried and given away thousands of mls of liquid. Once in tasted my ADV everything else tastes terrible to me.
  18. To each their own, I never switched around the style or brand of analogs. I have said many times I know a lot of people make a hobby out of it but for me it's simply a great way to never smoke tobacco again. My wife has not tried a new flavor except those I bought and gave away in over 9 months. For me it's simplicity.
  19. Not sure. I only use KPT 2s and Davide Minis with single coils. I get plenty of vapor and everything from them with 0 problems so I see no reason to upgrade to more expensive dual coils especially with the rate I go through coils. They are so cheap when mine starts to taste a little off I just pop in a new one. The glass will not affect the amount of vapor but once you taste your liquid out of glass you will want to throw away your plastic tanks because plastic is all you will taste. Just be sure you are ready to switch to glass if you try one because you will have a hard time going back to plastic if you are like me and most I know.
  20. Yea and I am not like most when it comes to seeing what is new. The first time I got excited about anything new in a long time was when the Vision Spinner 2 1600mah came out. I sold my Vamo, Nitecore charger, and 6 18650s to buy a couple more. It is by far my favorite battery I have ever owned. Other than that, I know what I like and have plenty. I just have to stock up on liquid and coils from time to time. When you have vaped a while it gets simplified if you let it lol.
  21. I listed the VaporTalk store too in my post. The trick to buying online and saving money is to always have backups for your backups so you never are in a position to need anything "now" at twice the cost. When you can buy 2 online for the price of 1 in the store on a lot of things it makes it easier to stock up. Example, the cheapest KPT single coils in my city at any of the 6 "shops" is $3. I pay $1.19 online. Vision Spinner V2 is $59.95 where it is $32.95 online. Other than liquids, and the one I like 3 times as much as any other is not available at any local shop, I cannot fathom paying B&M prices outside of an emergency. If the markups were modest I would pay for the convenience but in my area they are not. Then again I am an online shopping kind of guy. I rarely go to a store for anything other than clothes and groceries and wear my Amazon Prime out haha. I do the majority of my shopping at work from my desk because once I am away from here life is more hectic than being at work. I managed the last 3 Christmases for my family without ever walking into a store.
  22. I buy all my hardware from sweet-vapes.com and am very happy with their prices and service. I have ordered from MadVapes before but only because they had the replacement glass I was looking for. In my opinion there are a few common places "most" here get their hardware from. sweet-vapes.com VaporTalk Store Discountvaper.com VeteranVaper.com For bargain priced liquids there is Mount Baker Vapor (Personally not a fan but a LOT are. Its so subjective anyway) ECBlends (All my wife vapes is their Peppermint) VapeDudes For premium higher quality liquids there is FivePawns Fadora Vapor Fuzion Vapor (All I vape is their Endless Summer I would trust any of the above suppliers with anything. I am sure there are more but these are some of the more respected in the community. I am sure others will give good suggestions too. I have been vaping and analog free for almost 14 months now and have yet to buy the first thing from a brick and mortar and as long as my three suppliers are in business it will stay that way. Hope this helps!
  23. A good single batch bourbon goes with any flavor.... You definitely have to hydrate, but luckily I have never experienced what some call "Vapers Tongue". I drink water all day at work but away from work it is usually diet soda or bourbon lol.
  24. I used to change flavors but now it has been months since I have vaped any other flavor than the one I use and the taste is always there. My theory is at first your tastebuds are healing and they go through transitions with regards to how things taste. Even with food. Things I used to love taste like garbage now and things I never ate before now taste great. Once your tastebuds fully heal over several months you can settle into one flavor if you want but at first you have to find what you like.
  25. It also helps so I only have to fill tanks once a week. I fill my wifes for her so it is done right, no offense to her, but I cannot even get her to swab off her batteries before she plugs it in the charger. I have to clean the charger contacts about every couple weeks unless I can catch them before they get plugged in. If you think that is a lot of tanks, you should see my Vision Spinner stockpile haha.
