I use KPT 2 and Davide for my liquid and it is "no pg added". It is about 65% pure VG base and 35% flavorings with some PG. Never heard of any tank that cannot handle 50-50 and until you get over 70-80% VG about abybtank would work imo.

Its not a matter of having a good charger, its a matter of having one powerful enough to charge the Spinner 2
-
I personally will never charge a battery without the wall adapter. Not only is it way quicker it also adds a layer of protection against surges and other things that can have bad consequences. Just my 2 cents. WIthout a wall charger not sure I can give you any advice since there are so many variables. It could be a bad battery, bad charger, short in the wire, or any of a number of things.

Sounds like you either have a dud or a charger not strong enough to do the trick. I got a couple chargers in a started kit that are generic and they will not charge my Spinner 2s but I have no problems with the JoyeTech chargers charging mine. It does take 5-6 hours to go from dead to fully charged but I usually just top them off at night and rarely run one all the way down anymore. Other than the occasional "reset" when they give a false green light that they are charged I havent had an issue like you are having. It sounds like your issue is different than ours just though that might help. Are you using a wall adapter or trying to charge just with USB in a computer or something?

Correct. Read that thread, I started it. I have 9 Spinner 2s and they are maybe the last battery I will use or try. It is a pause in the charging cycle. All of mine did it when I first got them but after 12-15 charges they started charging completely on an overnight charge. I just got 3 new ones and they pause between orange and blue like my others did at first. Personally I think they have power to the point it maxes out the abilities of the chargers. Yea I got the last 3 from VT store and already had 6 from elsewhere. All 6 of the ones I have had a few months charge from start to finish with no interruption at all now even though they paused when I first got them. Just last night I got back from the lake all weekend and I had 2 dead and my wife had 1 dead and one very close. 3 were those I got at first, one was the new one. The only one that paused last night was the new one, the other 3 charged fully. Personally I think when they are brand new they are pushing the limitations of the chargers but after several charge cycles the problem seems to straighten out. All 6 of those I have had a while charge perfectly

Bump when you get something in vape mail.

Got my last 3 Vision Spinner 2s from the VT store that round out the collection to every color (except white just no need for a white battery imo) -
I think I am on to something here. The new ones I just got both did it in their first charge cycle, stop mid charge that is. Those I have has a few months and have charged dozens of times no longer pause. Coincidence?

I certainly mean no offense by this but the bolded above is a very misguided statement. Special interests and lobby's control every facet of our government including and especially the FDA. Things get approved and denied based on money all the time. Otherwise it would be fruitless for drug companies, alcohol and tobacco to spend the billions they do lobbying to keep their product legal. I mean think about it, cigarettes kill more people annually in the US than about any other cause yet they remain legal and largely unregulated outside age constraints. Why? $$$$$$$$$$$ Just wait till RJ Reynolds, Phillip Morris, and Lorillard dive headfirst into the e-cig market more than they have. All of a sudden the news will turn surprisingly positive. Problem with that is the taxation of e-cig stuff is very difficult given the equipment is made in China and anyone can order from wholesale suppliers not just businesses for resale, the liquid can be made with ingredients found at Wal Mart except the nic base which is readily available about anywhere and there are countless ways to vape and mod things to make them better or more powerful. Its like regulating and taxing marijuana being a problem because there is no way to tax something that can readily be propagated by any individual that has a yard with dirt.

Just charged 4 more from dead to full with no interruption. At first it was every time and for some reason now they are charging fine. Same batteries, same chargers.....defies explanation.

What should my next purchase be?
bcartervol98 replied to GA_Boy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I like being able to fill all my tanks once a week and not having to mess with it anymore. I am not into Mods at all and have quite the collection of Vision Spinners so my advice would be more tanks. With that said, everyone is different lol. Between my wife and I we have (6) 1300mah spinners, (8) Vision Spinner 2s, 4 Vision Spinner 650mah, 1 Vision Spinner 900mah, and a small assortment of standard 650-1000mah Ego Style batteries. I had a Vamo but sold it a few months back because I never used it. As far as tanks I have 16 Davide Minis, 8 T3S (the wifes preference), and 8 KPT 2s sometimes with Aero Bases sometimes not. I liked the Aero base for a while but cleaning becomes a pain imo. I generally fill them all up on Sunday evening and they last us till the next Sunday. -
Bump Everytime You Buy Something New

Fuzion is all I vape and Davides are my favorite tank, at least when you could get the single coil units. I bought the last 16 Discount Vapers had in stock when the switch to Aspire happened. -
I think once you find a flavor you really like and have a hard time putting down, it will not matter if you are drinking beer, bourbon, tequila, or just plain water lol.

Nope the same JoyeTech charger I was having issues with that prompted me starting this thread. For some reason the overnight charge has worked for me with only one fail and it was on one my wife killed all the way. I think that is the thing, when one is all the way dead (blinking) the chip causes a pause in charging for some reason. I have charged them from in the blue to in the orange and have only had one not charge fully since I started topping them off each night and taking them off in the morning. That one was one my wife vaped till it blinked dead.

I still cannot get over how tough these things are. The 1300MAH Spinner 1s I bought well over a year ago have been wet, submerged in the lake, submerged in saltwater, dropped about every way they can be dropped. While at the beach I MAY have been a little intoxicated (went through 2 1.75s of Makers Mark that week) and didn't notice there was nothing left hanging from my lanyard. I wasnt sure how long it was gone so I kind of retraced my steps and about 10 feet into the surf I noticed a blue drip tip sticking out of the sand as a wave went out. It was my Spinner with a mini Davide on top of it completely buried in the sand with about 3-4' of saltwater running over it. It had been there a while, like 15 minutes or longer. I washed the sand off it, blew the water out of the shaft, and used it the rest of the day. Unbelievable how utterly unbreakable these things are. That plus now my 2s seem to be charging normal. I am one happy camper. I just ordered 2 more from the VT store last night (of course they go down by $2 each the day after, my luck lol) and now will have every color available except white which neither my wife nor I want.

I also have a fairly large bet with one of my managers in a race to 230. He was at 288 last week and doing nothing but watching what he eats. I have a scientific plan and will be victorious and pump up the stereo in the boat more when I win! I am thinking 1500w amp and 4 12" subs lol. -

Week 9 loss (didnt weigh week 8 was on vacation) 5.6lbs Total 9 week weight loss 29.0 lbs! -
Out of the probably 100+ flavors I have tried I have never had one that I didn't like out of the box that steeping improved. Just my experience.
-
Put two on last night one dead one in blue and both fully charged this morning.
-
I thought I would but I haven't. My wife has vaped ECBlends Peppermint 80pg 20vg 24mg since her first couple weeks vaping (probably 13-14 months). I used to switch back and forth between a couple but it is so much easier to go with one flavor and this one does everything I want it to. Personally I think "vapers tongue" is as much a fallacy as "steeping" is.

I vape in my office and have no plans to stop unless my job is threatened. With that said, Bebop is probably right. Even though I fully believe there not to be appreciable second hand danger if any at all laws are laws. IN my state they have not done anything to include vaping with the smoking laws and in fact there is legislation to NOT include such. With that said it is MUCH easier to get away with vaping in areas you are not supposed to than it would be with smoking. Bathrooms, when no one is looking, etc. With a 70% PG liquid you can hold it in till there is no vapor to exhale. I use No PG added liquid and it almost goes away if you hold it in long enough. Its how I do it on airplanes, in stores, malls, etc....

Whichever setting you use take a draw, turn it up a little, take a draw, and repeat until you get a slight burned taste. Then dial it back a touch and that's the sweet spot. It will be different based on the liquid and the resistance of the coil (in VV mode). in VW mode the resistance of the coil is irrelevant to finding the sweet spot.
