The above are great sites for inexpensive liquids but try Fuzion when you get a chance I bet you will not be sorry. My search ended when I found them ironically through a tasting group we used to have here. I literally gave everything else I had away.

After almost a year and a half.....
bcartervol98 replied to bcartervol98's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Pretty isure it was the one that spent 15 minutes in the surf. It was totally buried the only reason I found it was the lanyard washing around. In theory that would possibly harm the shelf life lol. -
Newer to the vape scene, would like some advice

That sounds like a lack of maintenance issue. Were you careful to clean the condensation from inside the shaft at each fillup? That is so key to long lasting coils and vapor production. Even the smallest amount of condensation in the coil stem will cut vapor production immensely. An Evod is really an entry level tank but my wife uses the T3S which is essentially the same thing and has for over a year and a half and has had very few issues. -
About how long did ya'll flavor hop?

Sorry I just talk about it so much and get made fun of (in good fun) because I incessantly talk about how much I love it. My flavor is Endless Summer from Fuzion Vapor. -

I certainly overgeneralized but it seems most are either one or the other. There are many in between. Thats what makes vaping so great. Think about it, when we smoked did we have a forum to discuss brands, tar levels, and such? -

Would almost bet my entire collection of vaping gear those are knockoffs if new. EBay is a terrible place to depend on getting real name brand merchandise unless there is a reputable vendor that advertises there. Just my 2cents. -

I paid $27 for my 8 genuine Spinner 2s both here and at my other site I order from and never paid more than $16- $18 for any tank (My favorites were $11,99). They are about all I use, Vision Spinners. I have been smoke free for almost a year and a half and have tried everything there is (almost) that is not rebuildable (that you have to rebuild like RDAs and RBAs) and am convinced there is not a better battery on the market. My 1300mah Spinners I bought close to a year and a half ago became my beach-boat-lake batteries after I got my Spinner 2s and have been wet....dropped in saltwater...hell one was even buried because it took me about 15 minutes to find it in the surf and the first one dies last night...the others are all going strong. I am 100% convinced there is not a better Ego style battery out there when these have lasted so long. My wife even stuck here Spinner 2 with KPT 2 on top into a ceiling fan last weekend sending it hurling about 50 feet to the back of the boat and it never missed a beat. It all depends on what you want and it boils down to one thing. I have figured out there are two distinct approaches and they break down to this imo: 1. Simplicity: Plug and play, inexpensive coils, buy enough stuff to last a while and all you have to buy are coils and liquid for a VERY long time. This is for the vaper that has a primary motivation to quit smoking and save money (Me in a nutshell). It costs me about $80 a month for my wife and I combined to vape. 2. Complex: Rebuildables, APVs, Mods, and the latest greatest BDVC or BDC or BVC whatever is hot at the time. This is the hobbyist with an extensive collection that enjoys building their own coils and usually have a collection. The complex vaper is not concerned about the money saving aspect and treats it like a hobby more than simply a way to quit smoking and save money. Everyone just has to decide what they want for themselves, there is plenty of room in the Vape Lounge for all of us lol. -
Love my new Aspire Nautilus Mini

I just cannot bring myself to spend that kind of money on one tank lol nor the coils that go with it. -

LOL is that rhetorical? In all seriousness I only took 4 full KPT 2s to the lake this weekend and vaped more than I thought I would and had to resort to using my wifes PG based ECBlends Peppermint and dayumm was it harsh. Amazing how different flavors and differences in the base used. Just glad I am at the point where it wasnt a big deal and even though half the people around me were smoking I never even felt tempted in the least. As bad as her flavor is, it is infinitely better than the alternative haha. -

I tried probably 100+ flavors during my first 3 months or so then found "The One" and it is all I have purchased or vaped in well over a year. Now life is so much simpler lol. -
I finally have killed a battery lol. One of my 4 Vision Spinner 1300mah that has been my lake-boat-beach battery of choice since the beginning has died. Kind of amazing that it took so long lol. IMO the 1300mah Spinner is the best "Lanyard Battery" out there. All 4 of mine are the same age and have been equally abused haha. It only lasted a few hours yesterday which was the first sign, then when I plugged it in to charge the fire button would blink every few seconds. In only about an hour it showed charged but the power will not come back on. Chris I may need to "Re-Up" on a few 1300mah Spinners in the next couple months if you get them in the store let me know. RIP

I couldnt agree more with this Chris. It is a disturbing trend to see some of the questions that are asked. I do not chime in because I have vaped for about a year and a half now and never even considered anything I have to build or rebuild because its not in my forte' of skills lol. It really should be an activity practiced by the top few % of vapers that have an honest and true understanding of it. Like I have said many times, the misuse of Mechs and batteries by noobs not ready for advanced PVs are in my opinion the single biggest threat to the future legality of vaping.

Weight Gain & Subsequent Weight Loss
bcartervol98 replied to bcartervol98's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
People say I am strong willed lol. Sometimes I think thats a way of saying I am an *** hole haha. You know, like "Assertive" and "Brutally Honest" are other ways haha..... or in the south women say "Bless her heart" and all that means is whomever they are talking about is not right -
Weight Gain & Subsequent Weight Loss
bcartervol98 replied to bcartervol98's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
Ok bounced back in a big way. Buckled back down this week and tweaked a few things in my diet Week 12 loss was 5.4lbs! (A lot of my gain last week was most likely fluid since I ate a few high sodium meals in a row the days leading up to my Friday weigh in) Total 12 week loss 34.6lbs From 311.4 to 276.8 in 3 months. Feels Great! -
I generally vape mine until it is very low, pour out the last few drops, and refill. I have 12 tanks in rotation and I clean and put in new coils in all of them once every couple months (approx every 5-6 refills) and do them all at the same time because it is just easier for me to do it that way. I do notice my KPT 2s will get dark and funky a lot quicker than my Davide minis do even though I only use the KPT 2s on the weekend and use the Davide minis all week.

PG and Nicotine are the throat hit producers (PG is also a better flavor carrier) VG is mainly the vapor producer I use a pure VG base that only has PG from the flavors with none added in 18mg and have almost no TH (by choice). My wife uses a 70pg-30vg in 24mg and I can only take a draw or two off hers before I feel like my throat is on fire lol. Its all what you like so its hard to advise you what you should use but wanted you to know the basics.

Personally I think Vapers Tongue is sort of mythical a lot like I believe steeping to be. I mean, people say you have to rotate flavors but my wife has vaped one flavor for almost the entire time she has vaped and other than the first couple months so have I. We both quit cigarettes and started vaping the same day, 4-23-2013. For over a year I have vaped Endless Summer from Fuzion 18mg and she has vaped Peppermint from ECBlends in 24mg since her 3rd or 4th week in. Both taste the same from then till now. I notice you are about 2 months in or a little over. I have a theory that "Vapers Tongue" is simply your taste-buds growing back and functioning correctly so you are actually tasting what you are vaping. There are literally dozens of foods I loved when I smoked that I cannot stand now and even more that I couldn't stand before that I like now. The transformation of smell and taste is so huge it is staggering. I LOVED some flavors when I started that I cannot even stand the smell of now but have vaped the same thing for at least a year if not a little over that with no change in taste or satisfaction. With that said, it took a couple months for me to find the flavor that my new and improved taste-buds liked. Once I did it made all the difference in the world. Just my 2 cents.
-
Until I found the flavor I have vaped exclusively for almost a year now I would love a flavor for a week or two then all of a sudden when I tried another one that I liked better the old one tasted like ***. SO glad I am done with all that as long as my vendor is in business I am good and if they ever arent I will find a way to get the recipe OR have someone clone it.

I still have a Ego T 1000mah and a full Davide Mini that stays in the cup of pens on my desk. I leave it at work as a backup and take it home once a month to recharge. I rarely use it, but on a slow day I have to move on to that tank. I did give one of my employees two 650mah Spinners and a charger and she has been tobacco free for almost a month. That is indeed a good feeling. The 650s were just too small for me even though I am 100% an Ego guy. Once I got the Spinner 2s they are all my wife and I use except on the boat on weekends. I still use my 1300mah Spinners there because of the lanyard and they are old so if they fall in the lake I am not nearly as upset haha. Most of them have been submerged in both fresh and salt water and been dropped too many times to count.

Protank 2 vs Aspire vs Kayfun
bcartervol98 replied to christov11's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Again take it with a grain of salt but I have used a LOT of different things over the last year and a half from APVs to std non VV Egos and the Vision Spinner 2 is my favorite by far. Lightweight but tough. My wife was singing Karaoke on a friends house boat we were tied up to this weekend and stuck her hand up to yell "Whooooo" like we drunk southern folks do and a stuck her Spinner 2 with KPT 2 on top into the ceiling fan which propelled her battery and tank about 50 feet to the back of the top level of the house boat. I picked it up, handed it to her, and she used it the rest of the night and most of the next day. What was funnier was during the song she did the same thing with her beer lol. I helped her to bed shortly after that happened. -

And also, for me, saving money is one of my top motivating factors. I have been able to save enough money vaping over smoking that it makes my payment on my 34' Sea Ray Sundancer Cruiser AND the slip she sits in. Being in business I track everything and between my wife and I we save on average of $440 a month over smoking not to mention less drug co-pays since we collectively no longer have a total of 5 prescriptions that were $30-$50 co-pays so thats another ~$200 a month. Unless something breaks I cannot see myself buying anything else but liquid and coils for well over a year if not longer and that is a good feeling for me. Of course it never became a hobby for me, only a vehicle to quit smoking tobacco and thats all I can ask for. -
Protank 2 vs Aspire vs Kayfun
bcartervol98 replied to christov11's topic in General Vaping Discussion
The last post and many others in about every thread show why you have to try for yourself to see what you like. It is VERY difficult to go off what others like. To me, Kanger products are bulletproof and to another they are horrible lol. Its all a matter of personal preference. Some people like to build things and others (like me) like to have things ready to go out of a package. I guess I am a "pay for installation" guy when others like to do the work themselves. In my experience IClears are awful, not paying $30 for a tank so I may never know about the Aspire Nautilus but people seem to like them. Im just not sure what they can offer I do not get from my Davides and KPTs I already have. I already get too more vapor than I need and the taste is there so I just stick with what works and keep paying about $1 a coil and roll with it. Reviews and polls and opinions are great but just like any food, drink, or about anything else we consume there will be some who love them and some who hate them no matter the scenario. Trial and error is the only real way to find what is right for you. -
Last night I cleaned and put new coils in a total of 23 tanks and have a total of 22 Ego batteries (All but 2 are Spinners either 1300 or Spinners 2s 1600s) and have 6 chargers at home, 2 on the boat, and one at each of my and my wifes respective workplaces lol. I never go anywhere without at least 3 fully charged batteries and 3 full tanks even if it is only for a few hours. In a year and a half I have yet to have anything fail but I know that day is coming. I think at this point though I could wait it out since I haven't had an analog since April 23rd of 2013. Its not a biggie, you smoked for years I am sure. The wagon has plenty of room :-)

You have to drink lots of water. Dehydration can cause edema and vaping dehydrates you pretty bad. I can't say that's your issue but it was for me when I started. I never took a diuretic or anything but until I upped my fluid intake my ankles and hands would swell a lot especially if I was in the sun a lot.
