My belief on the level of safety of E-cigs vs Smoking would be roughly akin to giving up a heroin addiction and replacing it with chewing gum. I know, dramatic, but still more people died from choking off chewing gum than vaping. I cannot speak for your situation but I think in a few weeks when you no longer smell like an ash tray and little health issues you may not even have know you had start to clear up he will come around.

I cannot speak as to the tact you used to convey your message but this specific post I couldn't agree with more. I see cloud chasing competitions and all the pushing the limits of equipment overall as the biggest single threat to our continued freedom to vape as we want. It's a lot of the reason I post so much less than I used to because it's all you see anymore and instead of complain I abstain lol. And I mean no insult by anything I said toward anyone but it's just how I feel and in no way directed at anyone. Right now we have our right to vape and you can do it any way you want but that could change quickly and things like competitions and cloud chasing highlight the small % of Vapers out there and take the focus off quitting smoking cigarettes imo.

Fish I derailed originally. It is a hot button issue with me lol. I hardly post here anymore because of it. I occasionally post still in the new member section but now even noobs are more worried about building a "triple octopus .2 ohm coil" as opposed to quitting smoking. I guess so to speak the board has left me and my fellow tank vapers behind and in most cases I have very little to add.

At the risk of being disgusting, there is also a very apparent odor in both my and my wifes poo lol. Its the same so it has to be from vaping.....we really didnt change anything else. Or maybe now we can just smell it? Wow

I can smell I can taste Things that used to taste good now taste like *** and vice versa Off blood pressure meds Off anxiety meds Off sinus meds Productivity at work is up over 25% since I vape at my desk instead of going outside every 30-40 minutes My vehicles smell great (First time in my life I have 2 new vehicles that have never been smoked in) Savings from not buying analogs is roughly equivalent to the payment on my 34' Sea Ray Sundancer (Boat) I can fly without worrying about smoking Quality time with my family watching a movie or sporting event no longer marred by trips to the smoking area Just to name a few...... Basically my whole life made a turn for the better when I ditched analogs for vaping!

I tried and tried at the MGM in Detroit last week to set the one off in my room after being told it was "ok to vape anywhere on or in the property" but smoking was confined to the casino only. I never could get it to go off.

I mean I tried dripping and I guess I just do not get it personally. I know many love it and many love rebuilding things. Personally when my lawn mower breaks, I go buy a new one. Fix it? Nahh I wouldn't even know where to start. Like I said many times between my wife's 10 tanks and my 12 it is a huge pain in the *** for me to fill them once or twice a week so I cannot even imaging messing with any of that stuff. I would rather just throw 5-6 tanks in my case, 4-5 batteries in my bag and head to the boat ready to vape. In the end, all our goal is the same and it is hard to believe I have been almost 500 days without a tobacco product touching my lips!

Stuff like that will always be easy to get around. Even in my PG free liquid I use if I exhale immediately there is a cloud of vapor but if I hold it in about 8-10 seconds there is almost none. Combine that with no onerous odor and it makes it very difficult to detect.

I have vaped in about every kind of establishments bathroom you can imagine from airplanes and airports to 3 miles down in a cave. Outside restaurants in about a year and a half I have never been told I couldn't vape anywhere but do not do it everywhere public because of my not wanting to perpetuate a negative stereotype. Even though I vape 18mg all day every day I keep some 24mg on hand for those stealth vaping occasions where it wouldn't be easy to do.

Yea thats all I am saying. I am 44 now (old) and am not judging but its the same reason I rarely go to bars. I am at a point I am comfortable in life but it takes a lot of work to stay there with my lifestyle. It is hard to justify any time at all away from my family, the lake or work to sit in a Vape Lounge or a bar and swap stories about how low my resistance i or how many shots I can do (a lot) lol. I would rather be in the cove!

If smoke alarms went off I would have been thrown off a BUNCH of flights by now lol.

You expressed my exact sentiment probably better than I could. I never go to B&Ms (or pay their prices) but follow their Facebook pages and much like this and every other forum everything is about a rebuild-able this or sub ohm that or cloud chasing...all thing that I could really care less about. Nothing against those that do, but its not "me". I use tanks, have always used tanks and do not see that changing. Just no need to shop around at this point since I am more than happy with what I have and will continue to use.

Since I lost my first battery to the end of its natural life I ordered a couple Spinner 1300mah today one gun metal one stainless. Great lanyard batteries mine have stood up to amazing levels of aquatic abuse. Right now the 1300s are $21 at Sweet-Vapes for this weekend.

For a premium VG base which is what I like its Fuzion all the way for me. Its $15 for 30ml but not long ago they had a 25% off sale and I stocked back up with another 240ml of my ADV. There is no price break for 120ml because they only offer a glass bottle which I do not like so I just ordered 8 of the 30ml lol.

Week 14 loss 4.6 lbs Total loss now at 40.6 lbs since May 9th! Amazing how easy and well WW works. Literally have done nothing but count points. Zero extra exercise other than what I get in my normal life. Almost halfway to my goal!

Look at Fuzion Vapor they have amazing liquids imo and have 120ml glass bottles for $60 but no longer offer a plastic bottle. If you haven't tried them it's worth a shot it's all I vape. Super complex flavors.

I am no longer into mint but all the wife will vape is ECBlends Peppermint 70pg30vg in 24mg. It is the strongest flavored of any of about a dozen mints she tried before settling on this one.
