  1. Lol my wife will only use T3S for some reason I bought a bunch to have on hand cause she breaks stuff like a hyper pre teen. I never have tried the new Davide since they started using Aspire could but when I saw that was happening I ordered 20 of them while they still had them in stock without realizing the capacity had been dropped to 2.0 ml from 2.5ml. Not a seeming big deal but I go through from 2.1-2.4ml per day at work and almost never have to fill there with my last remaining 5 original 2.5ml version. For me the reasons I like the old ones are: Extra capacity (was same as KPT 2 Already had 5 replacement glasses on hand for the 2.5ml version They still used KPT single coils Unfortunately now they use Aspire Duals and only have a 2ml capacity both of which are downgrades to me personally. It's kind of like they fixed something that was perfect for me when it was already perfect.
  2. I love paying it forward to those in this forum. Without all the great people here helping me at first I have no doubt I would have failed in my attempt to kick the analogs. The other "big" forum is filled with trolls and people there seem to want to get a laugh instead of helping noobs out. I feel a debt of my life to those that helped.....you know who you are!
  3. Some good peeps around these parts!
  4. Yep unless something changes it is my forever vape lol. I still have 0 interest in even trying another flavor.
  5. That is basically what I do but rarely do any powerless draws but then again I fill all my tanks at once so other than the one I am using they sit up to a week before I use some of them. Even with the VG liquid I use it seems 2-3 minutes is long enough to get it going. I too use 1.8ohm coils exclusively and it is single coils only for me. Simplicity, value and price override any potential benefit of dual coils for me.
  6. Personally I do not try and be frugal with coils. I use a VG base liquid only and generally change a coil about every 6-8 tankfuls sometimes more sometimes less. I have 10 in rotation right now and use about 1.5 tanks a day so its really hard since I do not pay attention to which one I used last. When they are all empty I fill them all then start over but a lot of days I refill one at work and continue to use it till the next day and sometimes I do not. Basically when I start to notice a degradation in flavor I change the coil and it seems to be in that 6-8 tankfuls when that happens.
  7. Thats awesome man! The thought of quitting vaping has started to creep into my mind I have to admit after well over a year and a half analog free. I started vaping to substitute cigarettes with no thought of quitting ever. I guess it would still be hard since after well over a year and a half I still have not dropped below 18mg and the wife still uses 24mg. I tried dropping to 12mg but realized it was not doing the trick so if I quit it will be just putting it down. I know its a personal decision but I would not continue to vape at all if I could do 0 nic. I wish you all the luck in the world!
  8. In approaching 2 years I have yet to dry burn a coil. Just doesnt make sense to me as cheap as replacement coils are. I would much rather spend .95cents every couple weeks than mess with all that. Now I do use tanks exclusively so there is never a coil without a wick and yes I would think dry burning a coil with a wick in it would result in burned wick.
  9. This is the first time in my life I have owned two new vehicles that have never been smoked in. Beyond the time without an analog this is a huge milestone for me personally.
  10. Nope now that I know what I smelled like I know I will never smoke tobacco again. Maybe I was just ready to quit but after a month or so the thought of an analog is not appealing at all. After almost two years the thought of quitting vaping has already started to creep into my head. It's nothjng like smoking for me especially in the way I feel like I have to have it. With cigarettes going just an hour was a nightmare but now that I vape I can regularly go 4-5 hours without a pull and not have an issue. I killed my last battery Sunday on the lake after a long weekend before noon and got home about 7 and it was amazingly not anywhere near the same. It was my first time I was "without" and if it was when I smoked I would have 100% left early after rationing what I had left.
  11. Depends on how you define "cloud" really. I can fog up my man cave or my office with just a pull or two off a Davide Mini @ 1.8ohms (single coil)at 3.8v on my Spinner 2. It's sort of about the liquid too mine is roughly 75% VG and the rest are flavorings no PG added. I'm not gonna win any cloud competition with a RDA Subohmer but I don't want to lol. My setup and liquid does blow away all my friends setups but the main difference is the liquid.
  12. Hope all is well stranger!
  13. I go a long way into the orange sometimes but with several in rotation I generally just top em off.
  14. They are telling you that because orange means less than 30% charge is remaining (or is it 25% not sure). Bebop bumped my thread on them with a lot of goof info in General ECig forum but I top mine off all the time. I use one all day at work and until I go to bed then plug it in and let it charge overnight then repeat the next day. Lith. Ion batteries do not have the same problem of developing a battery memory like their predecessors.
  15. Nice bump Bebop. Mine have all but corrected themselves BUT still do it when I vape them down to flashing dead. Even if they are in the orange but not dead they never do it anymore.
  16. I do buy all my hardware at the VT store btw.
  17. 1. Anything by Dekang 2. Anything with chocolate in the name 3. Denver Dusk from Vaporleaf
  18. Vape Shops kill me. I would maybe go there to buy stuff but not to get advice from a clerk. My wife has vaped 24mg since 4-23-2013 and I switched to 18mg from 24mg about 6 months in because of the taste of my all day vape (24mg killed the flavor I like) but I go through almost twice as much because it is in my hand all day. Probably using 5ish ml per day now. If you want 24 get 24. I know people that vape 30 and 36mg after years of vaping. Also if you need equipment I posted a stupid good deal in member classifieds just sayin. Tanks, batteries, coils, replacement glass, liquids I am throwing in (6mg but they were given to me by a rep).
  19. Never used an Emow but used Evods before and they were ok but never liked them as good as the Spinners. I have 6 Spinner 2s in rotation and my wife has another 6 totaling 12 and the only issue we have had was she dropped one into about 40' of water at the lake. It is gone forever. In general though Kanger and Vision are the two names I trust more than any other in Vapeland.
  20. Not a tobacco fan at all anymore but at first that is what I wanted and found Sweet-Vapes "Traditional Tobacco" and "Organic Tobacco" to be the closest thing to a real tobacco taste I found out of the couple dozen I tried.
  21. Exactly this. I was able to say "I am done, no more cigarettes" from the first vape I took. It wasnt super easy but I was extremely motivated. My wife on the other hand still kept a pack in her purse for one here and there if she needed it. She was not as motivated as I was and honestly her primary motivation was that I was doing it and she felt like she sort of had to even though I never put that type of condition on it. Within a month she also couldn't stand the taste or smell of a cigarette. Thing is it takes the right equipment and liquid-nic strength. That is probably one of my bigger pet peeves with the advice I hear about where to start. Most of my friends that started vaping and have been successful with it, those I have helped, all started with 24mg liquid no matter if they were a light smoker or a heavy smoker. That's where I advise everyone to start if you are trying to kick the stinkies. There are far more things in cigarettes that are addicitive besides nicotine and your body will crave those plus you have to deal with the toxins that are leaving your body. For a few weeks you might be more prone to acne, headaches, gastrointestinal problems and your tastebuds will be all over the place. A good dose of nicotine can help you cope with your bodys withdrawal to all the carcinogens and addictive chemicals (those that kill you) as they leave your body.
  22. Everyone is different in what motivates them, what challenges them, what tempts them etc... The key is resolve. I WILL NOT SMOKE CIGARETTES AGAIN! That's what you have to tell yourself. Then get some juice with enough nicotine to make you sit back and say Ahhhhhh when you take a pull. It gets so much easier with time just hang in there!
  23. My wife still uses 24mg exclusively and has since April of 2013. I started there but dropped to about 18mg after a little under a year. Don't buy into the hype that nicotine is the enemy. Cigarettes and tobacco are the enemies. It doesn't have to be about the lowest nicotine level you can stand just vape the level that keeps you off cigs. I know a lot that started on 30 or 36mg.
  24. Turn it upside down overnight in a glass of rice, just dry rice. I have dropped my Spinner 1s in the lake AND the ocean multiple times and came out fine after doing this. The rice will draw the moisture out of the smallest of openings. I have not done this with a Spinner 2 yet. I keel 5 Spinnner 1300 mah on my boat now because they work with a lanyard and those are what I take to the beach as well. I keep my Spinner 2s for daily use at home and work they do not go to the lake. My wife is too vain to wear a lanyard so hers go but without a lanyard the ones she dropped in the lake are now on the bottom. Quick story about one. I had a 1300mah spinner on a lanyard around my neck and took it off for a second at the beach and a football knocked it out of my hand in about 3 feet of water and in my drunken state I couldnt find it. The tide was going out and I was walking about an hour later and saw about an inch of my lanyard dangling in the surf. I pulled the battery and tank out and put the battery in a glass of rice and the next day I used it all day and it may still be going now. I had 4 black ones and have only had 1 Spinner die on me in almost 2 years. I suspect that may be the one but they are tough as nails. I do think the Spinner 2s are a little more fragile it seems.
