  1. Totally forgot about Orphan Black. Cannot wait for that one to come back on.
  2. The dual coil model is fine, just toss the dual coils and screw in a single. Its that easy. No modifications needed. Its funny my wife commented last night on how much tighter the drip tips fit in the Davide than the KPT 2s we had that I gave to co-workers. That was her issue with them. I find the Davide keeps the drip tip on even when hunting and it is in my pocket and I have walked as much as 7-8 miles in a day.
  3. 50 pack of KPT coils 2 Full Size Davides
  4. Yea stuff comes very fast depending on who you order it from. I ordered a 50 pack of coils and 2 new tanks, did regular $3 shipping on 1-1 and it came today at work and had to come from Wisconsin to Tennessee two days later.
  5. I thought about starting on Bates Motel I saw the previews and it looked good. Tried Hannibal and couldnt get into it. Another one we watch is "American Horror Story" it sort of has taken the place of True Blood in our lineup lol.
  6. Not to mention the Full Size Davides are only $14 at Sweet-Vapes right now. I have yet to have one flood one or even have it gurgle except after hunting in sub freezing temps and then getting back into my heated car. There is no tank I know of that will not flood with that happens or you have quick altitude changes of ~1500ft or more.
  7. Some people think the BVC coil from Aspire delivers a superior taste. I have gotten rid of all my KPT 2s and replaced them with full size Davides. The Davides come with dual coils but I toss those out and use my .80 cent single coils and get the best flavor off any tank I have tried including the Nautilus. So to answer your question as to the advantage I do not see one other than having the newest thing. The coils are twice as much for a couple reasons. First more goes into making a dual coil I am sure and secondly it is because people are paying it. Not me lol. Couldn't be happier with my set up and that's all that matters.
  8. My wife and I were talking about it last night and we are going to have to find new shows to watch but we have different taste and do not like most things other people we know like. Shows that are always on our DVR que are Survivor Big Brother Homeland How to Get Away with Murder Modern Family The Middle Gold Rush Party Down South Shows we used to watch that ended: True Blood Lost (best series ever on TV imo) How I met your Mother We have tried several popular shows like Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Dexter and cannot get into them. Seeing the list of what we like any suggestions? I have UVerse U450 with every channel available and need to load up my DVR with more shows to watch lol. We are big night time TV people.
  9. One can never have too many backups, just ask my wife or look on the mantle over my fireplace in my basement lol. It is batteries, liquid and tanks everywhere, organized, but everywhere. I finally was able to simplify my tank situation though after trying the fill size Davide. I prefer single coils and it takes them perfectly, never leaks or gurgles-floods and will last me almost 24 hours without a refill. Most importantly it is the first glass tank my wife likes so maybe I can stop having to fill her T3S tanks 12 at a time once a week and FINALLY we can use the same coil. It has even sidelined my Davide Minis. Once I vape those empty they are getting cleaned and put away. We both vape one flavor almost exclusively so with 2 full size Davides each in rotation it will make filling and maintenance so much easier. Gotta have backups though for everything. I buy my coils in boxes of 50 at a time, liquid 250ml at a time and between the wife and I we have every color of Spinner 2 made with a few extra orange ones mixed in ( GO VOLS) along with 7 of the 8 original Spinner 1s we bought when we started vaping in April of 2013. Between the two of us we have only lost one battery in nearly 2 years. Amazing really considering how much we are on the water, in the sun and how often my wife drops her E-Cig.
  10. Welcome to VT! I am from West Tennessee originally but have lived in Knoxville almost 10 years now. Ask any questions you have, lots of very helpful people around here!
  11. Another thought is are both you and your friend using the same resistance coils? I ask because I only use 1.8ohm coils and the other day I had one go bad at work and wouldn't fire and only had replacement coils here in 2.2 ohm and I could barely taste anything until I got home and put a 1.8 back in. It is amazing how resistance can reduce flavor at a constant power setting.
  12. Every "tank", not to be confused with clearomizer, that I know of has a removable drip tip. I have dozens of assorted tips I use as the mood strikes me and that match the Spinner 2s I have lol. I now have one in every color made.
  13. I can easily tell just by taking a draw off the tanks on my flavors but if I were using more than one or two I would probably use a drip tip color system. With such different flavors I would think the scent or a simple drag off the tank before it is on a battery would do the trick.
  14. B&Ms push the IClear it seems at least in my area. Not sure if they can get them cheaper for more margin or what. I had one at first but it soon found its way to a "vaper in need" as I hated it. Almost like a refillable glorified CE4. I tell you I have tried about every mainstream tank there is and for my money you cannot beat a Anyvape (Aspire) Davide with a KPT single coil. I buy the tanks for under $15, full glass, replacement glass readily available and seem to be rock solid. They come with dual coils but I just toss those to the side and they take a KPT single coil with no adjustment or modifications. I have FINALLY converted my wife to a glass tank with the Davides. They blow the KPT series away in my opinion and the KPT single coils work like a charm with no issues.
  15. Have you ever considered trying a bottom coil unit? I never was able to get any sort of decent taste out of top coil tanks I used when I first started vaping. I know that's not your immediate issue which sounds like a bad mix of liquid, but long term I bet you would be happier.
  16. I have never had to clean my tank after it "floods" blowing out the coil seems to do the trick. Doing at every fillup helps performance too imo. In fact I often go months without cleaning my tanks fully. I swab the shaft every fill-up, clean the tip and blow out the coil but full cleanings are rare haha. I just do not see the need.
  17. Generally when I refill the tank I blow out the coil and almost never get gurgling. If I do it has sat overnight or has been through a temperature fluctuation. Seriously sit a tank outside in 30-35 degree weather then bring it inside to room temperature and I guarantee you it floods. Also living in an area that has such fluctuations in altitude can have the same effect. One of the places I hunt is almost 3000ft above sea level and my house is about 900. Every trip there I have to blow out my coil. Its not a big deal really. Often I think people have unrealistic expectations. I just see blowing out the coil as a maintenance activity like filling and cleaning. It is physically impossible for condensation to not eventually fill the chimney of a coil if not occasionally blown out or at least this has been my experience with every tank I have ever used granted they have all used KPT Single Coils.
  18. As you know I only use single coils in my Davides and I have not had any issue at all. These are new Davides that come with the dual coils that I toss and put in a single. I tried the doubles but prefer the singles by a vast margin. Often people mistake a gurgling from condensation as leaking. Every tank I have ever had occasionally floods when altitudes or temperatures change drastically. Every time I go hunting and am out in the cold 4-5 hours and get back in my car every tank I use floods under that scenario. I guess I have been lucky but I have been through hundreds of Kanger single coils, some from VT store some other places, but out of those hundreds there have been two or three that were "bad" and truly leaked. I will take that failure rate any day with almost anything lol.
  19. Pretty typical and one more reason regulation is coming and it needs to to be honest. Its one thing for someone at home to build coils in a dangerous way but its ENTIRELY different when a place of business does the same thing. They should be looking out for vapers rights not doing their best to get them taken away.
  20. So you are not a 1%er? HAHA Almost everyone in my Body Shop are lol, at least they THINK they are.
  21. What I bolded is in my opinion the biggest problem with the "culture" of vaping today. The main objective is staying off analogs and improving your health and quality of life. A very small minority see it as a $%#@ measuring contest and push the equipment to the limits of safety to see who can blow the biggest cloud. If thats what one wants to do they can go for it but do not think it is the "norm" at all. I have yet in approaching two years suck vapor directly into my lungs. I know no one personally that does that. I take a drag then inhale and repeat as often as necessary. I hit my e-cig like I would an analog always have. Best of luck in staying off analogs! I will be two years in April and have never felt better!
  22. If when you take it off the button glows white when fired it is charging. Chargers do funny things sometimes. I would think the light on your battery should go off when complete but maybe not. If it is not charging your light on your battery would still be orange. Remember the color of the light on your battery corresponds with the amount of charge left. Its something like White light is from 65% to 100% charged Blue light is from 26% to 64% charged Orange light is 25% or less charge remaining I usually change out when it hits orange if possible and charge from there. I also usually charge overnight when we get 5 or 6 that are needing charged.
  23. It should take your Spinner 2 about 5-6 hours to charge from blinking to full. The entire time it is charging the light on the charger will blink indicating it is charging. The light on the battery should progressively transition from orange back to blue back to white ending with the light on the charger being green and the light on the battery being off. If I had to bet I would bet you have a charger issue not a battery issue.
  24. The only thing I use are Vision Spinner 2s and I the only issue I have ever had with the 12 my wife and I have in rotation was a charging issue BUT that issue completely disappeared once I ordered Vision Chargers to use. I was previously using JoyeTech chargers. Its funny only the JoyeTechs will work on my Spinner 1s I have left from when I started vaping but the Vision chargers only work on the 2s and vice versa. I have a couple JoyeTechs on hand for my Spinner 1s but they are extreme backups and what I use when I am hunting in the rain or other places where my batteries might be overexposed to the elements. If you love the battery as much as I do I would recommend getting some Vision Chargers. I usually charge 5 or 6 at a time and have not had one issue since I got the Vision chargers. I got mine here ($4.95): http://sweet-vapes.com/accessories/chargers-wall-adapters/vision-usb-charger.html As far as the quality of Spinners I have been using them almost exclusively for 2 years now and have only had one die that was submerged in saltwater for close to half an hour. I found it when the tide went out and it still worked after a dry rice bath but died a couple months later. Other than that every one I have ever bought is still kicking. A couple of my 1300MAH Spinner 1s have rubberized coating almost worn off them and they still last close to 24 hours. I may never even try another battery.
  25. My computer screen on my desk...... On TV we never miss a reality show....somewhat of a reality junkie. Never missed a single episode of any season of Survivor or Big Brother and we watch Party Down South and others. As far as regular shows we watch Homeland, Modern Family, The Middle and How to Get Away with Murder. I am open to about anything. My wife usually drags me through the Bachelor and Bachelorette but I think that has run its course like Hells Kitchen has.
