Not sure about Vivi replacements but I bet Brian at The Veteran Vaper has what you need there. My T2 replacement heads are $2 each if I buy 10 or more. I think his free shipping threshold is $75 but I could be wrong. Funny thing is I no longer tape my T2s now that I have learned how to properly draw on them. I actually have found taping over one of the holes diminishes flavor and hit as well as lessens the life of the coil.

I second the "mastering the art of the draw" comment. When I started I woudl take a hard drag, inhale, take another, inhale, and another, inhale and hold it like i was smoking "something else". Then I found a longer solid slow draw held in my mouth for a bit then inhaled produced the throat hit I was looking for. I also agree the Nic % is something to nail down. I use 24mg right now, and do not see backing that down any time soon. I also prefer more PG than VG because I like a god throat hit. Another piece of advise is to not get too married to one flavor because you will stop tasting it after a while and when we quit smoking our tastes change. Flavors I loved at first are now just "ok" and flavors I wasn't crazy about are now my favorites. Its an evolution type thing for me, I am thoroughly enjoying vaping now more than ever, because the guesswork is over. I know what set up I like, and have found 4-5 liquids I can vape all day. I do not see myself ever progressing to a "Mod" or anything like that as long as my batteries are replaceable once they wear out in a year or so. Ego style batteries should last around 300 charges, and I get around 24-36 hours between charges and rotate batteries. By my math my batteries should all last between 1.5 and 2 years.

The cartomizers on the stick batteries always leaked on me when I first started before finding better options. That was what led me to this forum in the first place. I have never gotten liquid in my mouth with my Kanger T2 Ego CC longwick Clearomizers from The Veteran Vaper. The keys are Battery (I prefer Ego Style over everything else, get at least 1000mah or Spinner 1300mah) Delivery System (I prefer Kanger T2 for ease and cost of replacement heads) Liquid (VapeDudes is my #1, Sweet-Vapes #2, no #3 as of yet) Charger (Kits come with one but you can buy separate for about $10) Its that simple. It is easy to make it complicated and tough but once you break it down to the basics it is not that complicated at all.

There is not enough difference in Blu,V2,NJoy Pro, or any other "stick" rechargables to tell in my opinion. The first thing I and especially my wife had to get over is the quality stuff doesnt look or feel anything like a real cig. I bought a "Topaz" kit before finding this forum and got help with real e-cig type products. I never thought you were using expense as an excuse, I didnt mean to come off that way. I just pointed out that you said it was expensive so I knew you had to be using Blu or some other "Mall-Pharmacy" kit that are overpriced and borderline garbage. I have also found I prefer my smaller eGoT 1000mah batteries for certain flavors over the Spinner. Regular batteries without the variable voltage settings usually run about 3.5-3.7v and for my fruit flavors and spearmint I prefer about that range of voltage. WIth tobacco and coffee flavors I prefer it to be at 4.0v or just above and thats where the spinners come in handy. One thing to understand is resistance and voltage, there is a great chart on here somewhere that shows this. My T2s come standard with 1.8ohm resistance and to me, anything above 3.8v tastes burned so I keep a few 2.2 -2.4ohm resistance on hand for those few flavors I like the higher voltage with. Right now I am in my office, at my desk, vaping VapeDudes Spearmint in 24mg 70%pg 30%vg at 3.5v and loving life!
-
Ask anything, there are no stupid questions. I love helping people avoid the same mistakes I made at first. So many start with Blu, V2, or others without realizing you can get quality products a lot cheaper that work a lot better. The batteries I have last me 24-36 hours. I have yet to have two dead batteries at the same time, I could get by just fine with the starter kit but I like the Spinners higher voltage setting for my tobacco flavor.
-
Welcome! I think you will find vaping exponentially cheaper than smoking cigs, at least I have. My weekly expense has gone from $150 a week to around $30 for the wife and I. Once you buy your starter kit, a couple extra batteries, and find the delivery device (clearomizer, atomizer, tank, etc...) all that is left are replacement coils and liquids. Just take the time and spend the money to get decent equipment, thats the biggest mistake I see people make; myself included at first. My start up kit was from VapeDudes.com and was their eGoT starter kit with 2 1000mah batteries each fitted with a CE4 clearomizer, charger with wall adapter, and 3 bottles of liquid for $38.95. Then I bought 2 Vision Spinner 1300mah from Sweet-Vapes.com for $24.95 each and added an extra wall charger for $10 with wall adapter. I have found I like the Kanger T2 (Ego CC long wick clearomizer) the best and have found veteranvaper.com to be my top source for these. They are around $5 each and replacement heads are $2 each when you order 10 or more. VapeDudes is my go to liquid supplier however Sweet-Vapes also has some good flavors including the best tobacco out there imo, in their "Traditional Tobacco". So basically I got 4 batteries, 2 chargers, 10 clearomizers and 10 replacement heads for around the same cost as a week of smoking, and these will last me probably a year or more. All I buy now is liquid. There are a lot of ways to justify smoking over vaping, but cost is not one of them in my opinion.
-
Not something I have ever seen or used but that doesn't mean a lot. I have found the Kanger T2 to be my delivery system of choice, havent had any luck out of the CE4s and have used both V2 and V3. I am sure Vision is overall a good company, but there are way too many knock offs and cheap reproductions out there. In my opinion the best way to save money is to buy name brand products from reputable sources and for clearomizers and hardware I haven't found any better than Brian at The Veteran Vaper. There is a reason his CE4s are ~$5 and other sites can sell them for $1-$2 each. Have you tried the Kanger T2 yet? Also called the Ego CC Longwick Clearomizer.

Sometimes if a deal sounds too good to be true.....

Maybe its just me, but assuming since you ordered online you used a credit card, I would probably at this point initiate a "charge back" through my credit card company. If after three weeks you have not received an email response AND there is no number to call I would assume the worst and protect my wallet.

I live in a college town with over 100k people and 0 vape stores outside the Mall kiosk BS. There are like 15 places to buy bongs and hookahs and 0 vape shops. Closest one is an hour and a half away in Cleveland TN. I am happy to order online however, but would be nice to be able to taste liquids before buying them. I have given away at least 400ml of liquids I didnt like once they arrived. Happy that now I finally know what I like, but that is changing as time passes. I couldnt stand Spearmint when it first came in but now it is my new #1 lol. The Strawberry Fields I loved so much doesnt seem to taste the same. Trying another new one called Blue Honey from VapeDudes. The tobacco flavor I love from Sweet-Vapes now is a "When I am drinking only" flavor since it is the closest thing to an analog taste I have found.
-
Welcome!
-
So far I have found 4 flavors I like that I switch between. VapeDudes "Spearmint" and "Strawberry Fields" then there are my other two, "Juicy Peach" and "Traditional Tobacco" from Sweet-Vapes. I am really looking forward to trying the "Blue Honey" and "Candy Cane" from Vapedudes.
-
I dont get even close to running out lol. Their quality is as such that our all day vapes (Strawberry Fields and Spearmint) get ordered when we are down to about 50ml. I expect the Blue Honey to be another 100ml flavor haha.
-
Just ordered Blue Honey and Candy Cane (Peppermint) to try. If you like Fuzzy Navels you should try that one, they nailed the taste down to the hint of vodka on the exhale. They are closing for a week on vacation and have specials on 50 and 100ml bottles for the next few days just FYI.
-
One to add: VapeDudes Fuzzy Navel (24mg 70-30) The thing about this liquid is it tastes exactly like a Fuzzy Navel, and I remembered I do not like Fuzzy Navels. If you do, you will love this one. You can even taste a hint of vodka on the exhale. Just ordered a bottle of their Blue Honey which seems to be one of their more popular flavors. Also ordered Candy Cane (Peppermint) since the Spearmint has grown on me so much. Will post review once it arrives.

VapeDudes is my go to place for liquid except Tobacco and could care less about whose flavors they are similar to. Most Ice Cream places carry the same flavors. I find this discussion and especially the correspondence a little unsettling. I have spoken with Jennifer several times and have the utmost confidence in them and their product.

What's the best website to get Dekang e liquid?
bcartervol98 replied to KimJongUn's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
Eliquidmarket had it for $10.95 for 50ml but tasted and smelled like dirt to me. -
I cannot even tell you how true I am finding this. I tried to find that perfect tobacco, and when I did I made sure I had plenty of juice. Certain fruit flavors at first were not good and now I am liking them. The biggest one is Spearmint. I did not like it at first, at all, but now I cannot bring myself to take that tank off lol. Tastes just like doublemint gum. I have been over 45 days without any form of tobacco, and my tastebuds are obviously recovering. Now the Tobacco is good from time to time, but I cannot rave about it like i did the first 2 weeks when I vaped it all day. Just got "Fuzzy Navel" from VapeDudes and it is the bomb, exact on the flavor and great tasting.

Hey I didnt know this thread existed! I am a huge herp enthusiast! I was a partner in a wholesale herp supply company in my younger days called Mid South Herpetological Supply and have had about every non venomous and many venomous species available in the pet trade. Currently I am out of the trade but everyone in town knows me and my son has the bug too. He is 8 years old. He currently has an Amelanistic Corn Snake, a Piebald Ball Python, an albino tangerine Honduran Milk, and an ornate Box Turtle. All were the result of rescue. Animal Control knows me and has me on speed dial when an exotic is abandoned in apartments, dorms, and rental houses-foreclosures and I take them, ensure they are healthy and eating, and re-home them. In the last year we have relocated over 50 specimens of variousherps. A lot of bearded dragons, Ball and Burmese pythons, and corn snakes (kinda boring standard stuff) but included was also a 4' albino eastern diamondback, a 5' albino monacled cobra, and a gaboon viper all illegally owned. I let my venomous certification expire at the end of last year just because I do not want to take those risks any more but I know the people at a somewhat local herp zoo-venom extraction facility and I utilize them now when there is a venomous species involved. All venomous species are now housed at Kentucky Reptile Zoo and are part of the venom extraction program. You might follow them on Facebook, very good people. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Kentucky-Reptile-Zoo/282054578695?fref=ts Just thought I would share. The ones we kept are those my son absolutely fell in love with, especially his Piebald Ball Python named Burt, except the HUGE 5.5' Amelanistic Corn Snake that has the nastiest attitude of any Colubrid I have ever had. I figured it best he stay with me, plus he is fun and puts on quite the show for friends and guests lol.

As to further hijack the thread, I am also a herp enthusiast and my son genetically got the bug. He has an albino tangerine Honduran, a piebald ball python, an amelanistic corn, and an ornate box turtle. All were rescued from being abandoned in apartments in my area and dorms at the local college. Animal control has be on speed dial, I have rescued and relocated over 50 herps in the last year. I used to be a partner in Mid South Herpetological Supply back in the 90s when Crutchfield and others were just starting to get into the specialty Boas and Pythons and I had the pleasure of holding the first Leucistic Burmese Python documented way back in the day.

Oh I am not afraid to go out on a limb. I started vaping 45 days ago today, and have been analog free since. I bought a cheap stick set, then got the EGO T starter kit with 1000mah batteries, then went to the spinner all in a month and a half. All I can say is it satisfies me and I actually at this point have 0 cravings. I also said I wouldnt buy another boat when I got my 18' runabout but now there is a 28' cruiser in my slip and a bass boat in my driveway. I will never say never, but everyone has different reasons for vaping. For me it was to find a substitute for smoking analogs that would quench my cravings. I do not even know what a lot of the stuff you talked about it lol, but I am sure I will eventually expand my vaping horizons but really love the thought of buying a pair of $25 batteries that do as well as the Spinners do and when one dies, throw it away and buy another one. Not to hijack the thread, but what are the advantages of a mod over a battery like a Spinner?
-
I run a GM Automotive Group. When we redesigned our showroom we tried to find TVs and Monitors made and assembled in the USA. There were none. And I have never heard of any of that stuff you listed lol. I cannot see myself migrating from the T2-Vision Spinner combo. I am a find what works and stick with it guy. Its low maintenance, cheap to replace and have extras, and does the job. Not sure what else I could ask for. My Spinner just went on the charger that I started using Tuesday night almost at bedtime. I am getting 36 hours or so out of one charge. I see no need to have any more than 2 of those and my egot 1000mah backups lol, but thats just me. The Mods and stuff seem like a lot of work and I have more than enough of that already. I have to make time to fill my tanks.

What type of battery would be better for me?
bcartervol98 replied to Patricia's topic in General Vaping Discussion
With my Spinner 1300mah I cannot even turn it all the way up using 1.8 and 2.2 ohm resistance without getting a severe burned taste. I get all mine at Sweet-Vapes.com for $24.95. They had all colors in stock the last time I checked. Brian at the Veteran Vaper told me he is trying to get them and when he does I will order from him even if he is a couple dollars more. He said since Chinese New Year things got a little scarce but is normalizing now. I vape my fruit flavors at 3.8v with 1.8-2.0ohm and my tobacco flavor at 4.0v and 2.2ohm. Just the sweet spot that works for me. I have two EGO 1000mah as backup that always run at 3.7v so having 4 batteries is not a bad idea BUT I have not even turned on one of the 1000mah since my Spinners in. -
Ok after about 2 weeks of use I think I have gone through my first atomizer heads on my Kanger T2 on two of my tanks. There is a distinct burned taste and the liquid is much darker in the clearo than when I first put it in. I am having to lower my voltage in order to resolve this short term. I have a few questions: I have a bunch of T2s. After I discard the atomizer head and remaining burned tasting liquid from the tank should I soak the old tank in alcohol overnight and use a new one, then put a new atomizer on the old T2 after it dries the next time I need a change? Is it OK to wash it out, blow out the excess water, install a new head, and vape away on the same tank? Is the darkness of the liquid, easily twice as dark as when I put it in, a good indicator it is time to change the head? I had this image that it would be better to just screw on a new T2, soak and sanitize the old one, and then put a new head wick assembly on the old one the next time I need to change. I also read on another forum that people wash the wicks before using them. I have never seen that here. Do any of you do this on new heads?

I find I am so much more productive because there is no need for a smoke break. I cannot even stand the smell of it anymore, after only 42 days without. It is not even remotely appealing and I smoked a pack and a half to two packs a day for over 27 years. This was my first attempt to quit. Not only that, even the trial and error costs of liquids not strong enough and that I didnt like, I have now more than recouped my total investment in savings from buying analogs and I am in TN, only about $4 a pack.
