  1. Anything and everything. My playlist has everything from Janis Joplin to Hank Jr to Metallica to Danzig to Phish and Panic to current pop. About the only genre I never listen to is religious music.
  2. I know, I have been on him to get them. I need to order a couple. Maybe I will swim with one in the lake tomorrow and have a good excuse to order another lol.
  3. I absolutely detested menthol analogs. I would almost pule if I accidentally hit one of my friends. I wouldnt even have one if I was out and needed to bum one. Now that I vape, Spearmint and Candy Cane, both mint flavors, are my top 2 and my all day vapes lol. Amazing how tastes change.
  4. A typical Lithium Ion E-Cig battery will last about 300 charges. Alternating batteries like I have with a 30-36 hour battery life I estimate they will last about 1.5-2 years. I alternate through 4 batteries so I expect them to last around 2.5-3 years as a group of 4. All are just estimates. Some may die before others as I do not have any specific rotation or anything like that. If you have 1 battery that you charge every day the life expectancy should be around 300 days. With coils the answer is "it depends". With my flavors I vape at higher voltage the coils last about 2-3 weeks. I have a couple coils that have been in 6 weeks but its hard to tell since I change flavors so much. The coil in my Spearmint tank, a 1.8ohm is the same one as when I got that liquid and that was about 5 weeks ago.
  5. I am not wondering about accidentally getting it wet, I am talking about floating around in the water without worrying about it getting wet. A case that floats, allows airflow while remaining water and moisture free. I am sure I will eventually drop one in the water, I just want to be able to vape while everyone else is floating around with analogs hanging out of their mouths. There has to be a solution.
  6. Check out this thread I made. It may help you. There are some awesome starter kits in the marketplace too, I get almost all my non-liquid stuff now from The Veteran Vaper. They are a VaporTalk marketplace vendor too!
  7. I would think one could make an injection molded product with a cap that works like a float or tube does, remove the stopper take a pull and replace the stopper. Problem would be airflow. Hmmmm.
  8. Spearmint and Candy Cane all day vapes Occasional switches to Strawberry Fields and a Blue Honey-Traditional Tobacco mix when I am in the mood for sweetness Traditional Tobacco whenever I am drinking.
  9. I have spares, and it hasnt been that hot here, the water is still a little cool. I hung my lanyard on the back where I can get to it. I just know in a couple weeks it is going to be that heat where you are out of the water for a few minutes and have to get back in for comfort lol. Or hit the cabin and turn on the AC!
  10. I have sort of searched but cannot find anything. As many of you know I am a huge boater and water person. From April till October we spend most Saturday nights and all day Sundays on our boat on the lake. A lot of the time we are in the water for extended periods of time floating and "beating the heat" lol. I am finding this is the only time I still feel like there is something missing with vaping. I am so used to sitting in my floating chair and keeping my analogs on the back of the boat, swim over, light one, and continue drinking and socializing. Doesn't help almost all our friends smoke still. I guess my question is does anyone know of an e-cig battery that is waterproof or designed for such? Is there a case or sleeve or anything else that anyone knows of? It sure would be nice to be able to use mine instead of having to get out of the water and dry off my hands each time I want a pull.
  11. I would suggest trying the Kanger T2 also known as Ego CC longwick clearomizer. When I changed from CE4s to those it changed my entire vaping experience.
  12. I see a LOT of posts in this forum about "What do I need to get started" and things like that. People that started with BLU and others that find it is not very affordable and battery life is awful etc... I thought I would post a pic and description of my kit that never leaves my side these days, costs, and such. Maybe it will help someone else, maybe not. Either way I am bored at work so here it is lol. First I bought a starter kit from VapeDudes but they are available everywhere for similar prices. The kit contained the two smaller EgoT 1000mah batteries shown below, 2 CE4 clearomizers (I use T2s now and that is what is pictured), 3 10ml bottles of liquid, and all charging accessories. I get over 24 hours out of each batter per charge if I am using one exclusively. They run about 3.5v and hold full power the entire cycle from full charge to blinking that they need to be charged. Cost $38.99 Then I ordered two Vision Spinner 1300MAH batteries to be able to experience variable voltage. They are more affordable than one would think that is using a pharmacy-mall kit. I get 30-36hours out of one charge if using them solely, but usually I have two in action at the same time. I like the way some taste better on the smaller batteries from my started kit and some at higher voltages on the Spinner. Cost $24.95 x 2 = $49.90 The T2 clearomizer, made by Kanger, also called the Ego CC Longwick Clearomizer is my favorits clearo. It holds 2.4ml (more than the mini nova at half the cost), is super easy to fill because the coil head sticks well above the rim of the tank making it virtually impossible to get liquid where it shouldn't be. Great vapor and throat hit too and they never leak, at least in my experience. The only minor downside is you have to check the coils tightness each time you take off the lid because it fits so tightly onto the top of the coil. Usually mine unscrew a small amount each time I refill. Oh replacement coils are about $2 and I find depending on the liquid and voltage they last 2-3 weeks on average. Cost: $4.39 x 5 = $21.95 The extra large Ego case is a must for me, it fits in my pocket, and makes everything extremely mobile. Cost $11.95 Total cost of everything pictured is around $120. I would also always have a second charger and wall adapter (About $10). I mean, that is about the same cost as 2.5 cartons of analogs and outside of liquids and coil head replacements this will last me approximately 2.5 years if its all I use (using the 300 charge cycle battery life average). I have estimated the cost of the liquids I use to be a cost of about .50 cents per ml and I go through about 2ml a day. Thats $1 a day for liquid and about $2 every few weeks for replacement coils. Just thought this might help some noobs, like I was oh not so long ago. I try and absorb myself in things I do and learn everything about them. Anyway this is my set up, glad to answer any questions you may have. I so appreciate all the advice I got here and want to pay back any way I can.
  13. A case is a handy way to not ever have that happen again. This is what is with me pretty much everywhere I go for any extended period of time lol.
  14. I always have at least 3 fully charged backups at all times.
  15. I use a Spinner and T2 combo and love it. So easy to fill with the coil head sticking well above the top of the tank, holds 2.4ml, and super easy to use. About $4 and replacement heads about $2 make it an easy choice for me at least. I get great taste, vapor, throat hit, the whole none yards. I am only a little over 2 months into vaping but these are far superior to anything else I have used.
  16. Yea everything I have ordered has been super consistent. Spearmint, Candy Cane, and Strawberry Fields are all 100ml flavors and always identical and great.
  17. It's now a tie between VapeDudes Spearmint and Candy Cane but I love some Sweet-Vapes Traditional Tobacco when I'm drinkin lol.
  18. I am actively trying to hit the cutoff and can't lol. I take one huge pull and inhale. I cannot pull long enough to hit the cutoff on my Spinner.
  19. You seem like very good peeps, happy I can help. I wouldn't be surprised to get more in the future. Just notify me if you change your address. :-) I am always trying new ones and am pretty picky lol.
  20. Many advise against storing it in the fridge. I have read it can break down the flavorings from the PG-VG mixture. I thought the same thing. Mostly it needs to stay in a dry cool place out of direct sunlight but I do not ever put any in the fridge.
  21. I have heard a lot of people mention it, maybe I am vaping differently lol. Brian @ Veteran told me that is why he prefers the Twist. I prefer the Spinner. There are not a lot of differences between the two. The Spinner is easier to read the voltage setting, and at 1300mah it should last longer. Its all what you prefer.
  22. I dont see how that could be an issue. I cannot physically pull on my Spinner long enough to hit a cut off time.
  23. I believe the Spinner is 8 seconds and the Twist is 12, but I could be wrong. I know the Spinner is shorter. With that said, I mainly use my Spinner and have never had it happen to me.
  24. Nothing worse than a damn theif! We came home after spending Memorial Day weekend on the lake to find someone had stolen both my batteries out of my bass boat while we were away. They got $175 worth of batteries but left a $1100 and a $500 depth finder-graphs on the boat. No one said thieves are smart.
