I only use 24mg right now and only order liquid from VapeDudes and a little from Sweet-Vapes.. They have by far been the most consistent in quality and service.

What Is A Fair Price To Buy Eliquid In Person?
bcartervol98 replied to snowpuppy2015's topic in Polls and Questionnaires
In Knoxville TN the only place that has it charges $16 for 10ml lol. And it's garbage liquid at that. I only order online. -
http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-case-medium-black/ This is a better deal than I got as I got to know Brian at The Veteran Vaper after I had ordered my case for $12 http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-case-medium-black/

I got mine from VapeDudes.

Yes, well I got them from The Veteran Vaper who is a member of the Vapor Talk Marketplace. They are $4.39 each and replacement coils are $2 if you buy 10 or more which I always do. This affords me to keep several extras for my switchout ritual. I call them T2s but they are also called Ego CC Longwick Clearomizers and are manufactured by Kanger. So far I have tried several and these are the best hands down. I am very hard on my stuff. I am a boater and they have been dropped, rolled off a table, stored in my pocket, and even in my pocket when I slept and have never detected one drop of a leak. Easy to fill, holds 2.4ml (same as Kanger Pro Tank and Mini Nova tanks), cheap coil replacements, and overall the only thing I use at this point.

Yea I just cannot make myself pull the trigger lol. I had 4 and some coils in the cart and couldnt finish it up. I need to find a B&M store to see one before pulling the trigger on an almost $20 tank. Problem is I am prone to over buying things lol. Same with liquid. I ordered 50ml of Blue Honey from VapeDudes because I couldnt find a bad review and to me, it is so sweet it is almost vile. If after steeping another week it is still as bad I am shipping that one away to someone. I found a tobacco flavor I loved, but now almost 3 months into vaping I do not like the taste of it at all, and have 120ml sitting at home. My wife and I both LOVED Strawberry Fields, but now that I have had Spearmint and Candy Cane (Peppermint) I just cannot seem to be satisfied with anything else. Thats why I am considering moving to a tank or better delivery system, because over 90% of the time I would be vaping these two flavors. I just have to buy the wife 2 if I get 2, then replacement coils. I dont know, prob will just stick with the T2. I have no problem with them, love them in fact. I just always wonder if I am "missing something" by not upgrading.

I mean, is it "super" heavy? I am not too worried about it. At work mine is on my desk or in my hand and on a lanyard about everywhere else.
-
Just realized the KPT is only 2.4ml, same as my T2. Not sure I would want the mini. Thinking about ordering a couple very soon.

See original post.

As I get farther the more I want a mod. The mini Provari has my attention lol. Just need to research a bit more before going there. I would still use my Spinners and basic Ego threaded batteries a lot I'm sure but I'm itching to get something new too. There are Kanger Pros in my future too as soon as the mini becomes available.

VapeDudes.com Spearmint and Candy Cane (peppermint) have quickly become the only two I am using these days. I have found their liquid to be very good. Sweet-Vapes.com also has very nice flavors. I hear a lot of good things about Mt Baker Vapors but have never ordered there.

I keep my house 75 year round, but keep mine in my basement "man cave" in a shelf under my bar. I think that is cool and dry enough. Also to search there is a looking glass icon in the top right directly beside there it says "The Marketplace". Click there to access the search function.

Either way, everything I have and everything I have tried is still less than one month of analogs, and once i get it set up just right it will be even more savings.

I never get mad when someone recommends something I do not like. I just know I will not like a large tank, especially the way I carry my equipment in my case. I really want to try one and am not averse to spending a little money to try something new. I have already thrown away 10 CE4 V3s that were garbage and have given away over 1000ml of liquids I didnt like. Never once was I mad at anyone that recommended it. I havent heard a bad thing about VapeDudes Blue Honey but the more I vape it the more vile it becomes. One of the people I have shipped liquids to in the past may get a surprise package before long with that in it. I am steeping for another week to be sure, but I cannot imagine this being a flavor I will use. After getting my Spearmint and Candy Cane I have a very hard time switching to anything else. When I do its for a pull or two and I am like, nah Im switching back. Either way I would never call anyone names regardless lol. I am lucky enough to have the finances to where its not a big deal, and I love trying new things with vaping looking for that perfect setup. I am still on the Ego styles and Spinners but have been sniffing around the mini Provari suppliers lately

Interested, PM sent.

Yea I thought the T2 had an airy draw at first, then I learned how to draw off it. Different than the tighter Vision products but I think I get a lot better flavor and vapor than the Vision stuff. I am no expert, but when I do something I want to learn everything there is to it. I just couldnt understand what the advantage is to spend more if the T2 is almost if not the same thing. I do not think I taste plastic, but having never vaped from a glass tank I wouldn't know. I may have to order a couple to try now that I have two flavors I know I am gonna vape a ton more than everything else put together.
-
And just to add, FWIW I recommend places that I have gotten great service and deals. I have never received a discount from anyone for shilling their stuff. I mainly order from Veteran Vaper and VapeDudes because they have given me the most consistent prices, availability, and service BUT I have given away flavors I have ordered by a 3-1 margin easily over those I have liked. I would have saved hundreds of dollars if I had the ability to try the flavors and stuff before I bought it. I only wish I had the capital and knowledge to open a vape store here in Knoxville. I think it would jam lol.

Solid explanation AquaTroy, and I never meant to get anything started. I rarely pay attention to reviews anymore since the flavors of liquids that get great reviews are rarely ones I like and the same for accessories. The Ce4 gets great reviews and I dislike them very much now that I have switched to the T2. Let me ask you this as a fan of the KPT. What about the KPT is superior to the T2 that it is worth roughly 3x more per unit? I guess that was overall my general question. The T2 is called a "clearomizer" and the KPT and the Vivi are called "tanks". Is it more to do with size or is there more to it than that? Now that I have it down to the two flavors I am vaping 90%+ of the time, if there is an advantage to a tank I want to get a couple to try. What say you?

I love VaporTalk, I just think that kind of thing has no place in a community like this. Bigger forums you expect it, but when adults resort to name calline, "Get a Job" comments, and the like I tend to tune out and lose interest. I have heard all sorts of bad things said about the stuff I love and inversely have said bad things about equipment others love. It is just inherent that different tastes will like different things but the "My stuff is better than your stuff" degrading into namecalling should stay on the playground or in the sandbox, not in a forum meant to discuss things. Just my two cents, it wasnt directed at me but did sort of derail my thread and was directed at people I have grown to like very much. But back on subject, I am sticking with the T2. I cannot imagine getting anything out of a KPT or a Vivi that I am not getting now.
-
It happens, I just had never seen it degrade to this on this forum. I mean, seriously, the name calling and such is just immature and uncalled for. Actually getting angry over someone not liking the same delivery system as others makes me think someone might need to up their mg of Nic in their liquids or take a Pamprin.
-
Yes. I get all my accessories and batteries from Brian at The Veteran Vaper. He is also a member of the Marketplace here. The T2 is also called the Ego CC longwick Clearomizer. There is a med and short wick version but I prefer the longwicks as a whole. The replacement coils are $2 if you buy 10 or more, and the T2 comes standard with a 1.8ohm coil. The way I tell is taste. Once a coil is gone the liquid will start to have a burned taste, and sometimes will get very dark. It happens when the heating element that heats the wick finally scorches the wick and once that happens it is done. Some people rebuild them, and that is an option, but for me and for $2 I chunk em and replace.

Yes on the T2 I use, like many others, you change the coils and the tanks last quite a while. I havent been doing it long enough to know how long the hardware will last, but I have some I have changed the coil 2-3 times and they still vape beautifully. I also tend to be the "king of excess" as my wife puts it, so I ordered 20 of the T2s just to never run out now that I have found that is the delivery system I personally like the best for the category it is in. I cannot see, and have not been given a reason I see as legitimate, to buy the $10-$15 tanks when the T2s do what I need them to do at a fraction of the cost. I use them until the coil goes bad, and this is from 1-3 weeks depending on use. I usually have 4 or 5 in my case at all times and they all get different levels of "playing time". Once it needs to be replaced, I will grab one I have cleaned from another use, install a coil, and replace it. Then the old one gets the bad coil removed and thrown away, soaked in alcohol overnight, set up to dry a couple days, then goes back into the case for future use. Everyone likes different things, but these are a great way to start and then branch out and find out if something else works better for you. I started out using Vision CE4s but they leaked, were a little difficult to fill, and are one piece. Once the coil is gone, its gone, and you throw it away and start over. I find the T2 all around to be what I like best of the things I have tried.

And AquaTroy sorry if I seemed harsh, I just have never seen that type of thing here. The lack of forum fighting and insults is what attracted me here from the other forum. Your post seemed very insulting not toward myself (I hope) but other members that by my estimation were not "reviewing" a product as much as discussing it.

Having a bad day? I am the OP and never even mentioned the Pro-Tank in my comparison. Get a job? IN my humble opinion that kind of crosses the line between spirited discussion and just being mean spirited and disagreeable when there is really no call for it. Just my two cents, take it or leave it. I can buy anything I want within reason, but see no reason to buy one tank when I can get 3 of the ones I do like for the same price. I generally have disliked Vision products and prefer Kanger so if I ever want to go with an upgraded tank it would probably be a KPT but for now, I am happy with T2. I havent used either, because no one has given a reason that compels me to. I love my T2s and will continue to use them going forward. I just was wondering if there was some hidden reason I have never heard of to spend the extra money for a Vivi Nova. As I said, I generally steer away from Vision products, and find Kanger to be much more consistent in performance and lack of problems.
