Bump Everytime You Buy Something New
bcartervol98 replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Just ordered a couple Joye 510 atomizers and a few drip tips from Brian at Veteran Vaper. Yes I am going to give it a try. With all these new flavors coming it seems like a good time to learn how to do it. -
Me too given there are tons of 1 star reviews on their site.

My vehicle has 4 DC plugs and 6 USB ports total but even so I only charge in my vehicle as a last resort as in I haven't done it yet. -

Ordered these in 70-30 24mg last night with reward points. Trying to jump out of my Strawberry Fields, Candy Cane, and Spearmint box and try some new stuff. Bubble Gum Ball Key Lime Pie No Bake Cake Mint Chip Ice Cream Apple Bubblegum Strawberry Bubblegum Fruiti Stripes Gum Thin Mint Chocolate Candy Cane Pumpkin Spice

Strawberry Fields right now feeling a switch to Spearmint is coming shortly however.

Genuine Chinese Made Chemical tasting garbage in my opinion. Some like it. I would probably go back to analogs if that we're the only available liquid.

finding the right flavor
bcartervol98 replied to bigcountry1100's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
I don't like VapeDudes tobacco flavors at all. Sweet-Vapes has the best tobacco flavor and I have tried a ton. I just for some reason have stopped vaping it all together for right now. Strawberry Fields goes pretty good with bourbon lol. -
T3S vs T2 (Ego CC Longwick) full comparison
bcartervol98 replied to bcartervol98's topic in General Vaping Discussion
About 6 of the 10 coils that came with mine were duds and leaked. Having much better luck with replacement with 2.2ohm replacements none leaking with 10 in action. 100% disclosure my wife made the decision to switch back to T2s. She takes such hard draws she blows heads quickly and I think literally sucks the liquid through the coil and blows them quicker than she does the T2s. They are almost equal in my opinion, I just prefer the T3S and she prefers the T2. I could interchange and not have any issue but my favorite all day flavor doesn't wick well in the T2 and my OCD makes me pick one or the other. -
Well it's like a Nissan that is made in the USA. It is "assembled" here with parts from overseas. A liquid can be "made in the USA" using foreign made PG, VG, nic, or flavoring and still make that claim legally if it is mixed here. No one can know for sure with anyone, and I say this all the time so it may seem redundant, but in my I trust 100% in VapeDudes and Sweet-Vapes to be USA products made from USA ingredients. In my opinion from the dozen or so suppliers I have tried these are the only two that no flavor I have tried had any chemical taste to their liquids. Sure I have gotten flavors from both I wasn't fond of but only because I just didn't like them lol. I also only trust that VapeDudes mixes each order individually. Sweet-Vapes may do some but I ordered 120ml of a flavor from them once that shipped in like 3 hours so its hard for me to believe as high volume they do it could be done that quickly, maybe. Either way both are great. I actually broke down and tried Dekang and to me, it was awful. Like worst taste I have tasted since I started vaping. I would never knowingly ingest anything into my body made in China but with hardware there are few choices. It sometimes makes me nervous to have what basically is something that could explode on a lanyard around my neck if I'm being honest and would feel better if the USA could get into the market on the hardware as well an the ingredients but given the FDAs impending deeming forthcoming I will be content if it stays as is.

Well I will be honest, I just do not see the value in glass. I tried the KPT but it was a gift from another member of the forum. I do not vape any flavors that melt plastic and I didnt see an appreciable difference in taste between the glass and the poly the T2s and T3S's. I may try one of these one day. I think the ability to drop the metal drip tip for a no non metal one might make me like this one if I ever buy one.

T3S vs T2 (Ego CC Longwick) full comparison

And I am not a "fix it" guy. I am sure there are solutions and tutorials how to add flavor wicks and such, but for me, if it doesnt work out of the box I am going to replace it or quit using it. I am satisfied with the performance of the T3s. I have only used them since I got them, but am unsure enough to have all 3 of my go to flavors in T2s in my case as well "just in case" and I always have 3 coils in my case as well for an on the fly change. -

I have had a couple bad heads, and if it is gurgling I have learned "blowing it out" is literally that. The 2.2ohm coils are much better, but the 1.8ohms seem to have some bad apples in the mix. I blew out a half a tank of liquid trying to fix one. Thats part of the maintenance I am talking about and the choice everyone has to make. Between these two the T2 never leaks and is the easiest clearo on the market to fill, but only the top half of the liquid tastes like it is supposed to and gets muted below that level. The T3S has coils that are more "touchy" and a little inconsistent and once they leak, I replace them. I have had a couple leak right out of the pack, but all were 1.8ohm I have changed all 10 of mine to 2.2 ohm and leaking is very minimal if at all and the entire tank tastes the same from the first draw till the last. It all depends on what you like. I am convinced that on the $5 range clearo-tanks these two are the best two on the market. -
True, but in my way of thinking that is 3 T3S's lol. Im a little tight with everything but my boating obsession.

Great review! I am going to stick for now with what I have but it looks pretty cool! I am glad you like it. I am still picking glass out of my foot from my wifes KPT incident this week so no more glass in my kit for a while haha.

I may try the Fruiti Stripe Gum when I redeem these reward points tonight :-) I can pick 10 flavors free at this point, or combine and get a larger bottle of one flavor. I may go crazy and try some outside the box stuff. -
If you vape one flavor for too long, your taste buds will become "used" to that flavor. I usually start out my day with Strawberry Fields, then after lunch move to Spearmint or Candy Cane (peppermint) then back to Strawberry a couple hours before bed. If I vape Strawberry Fields all day, I can hardly taste it by late afternoon and my tastebuds should be close to back at this point. As your tastebuds heal, it can be a crazy experience. When I smoked analogs I would not eat anything that had celery in it. I could smell it and it would turn my stomach, I hated it. Now I cannot get enough in my chicken salads. I hated Italian dressing, but now its my favorite. Let your tastebuds heal and you will finally taste what things are supposed to taste like. I used to love Krystal burgers too, but now that I can taste them.....dam

finding the right flavor
bcartervol98 replied to bigcountry1100's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
Well I almost hate to do that, because they are some that people on here swear by but just a few I will never order from again after getting samples that share the same taste I find unsavory. I did once and people started laying into me for bashing their place they love. I will say if it is less than 45-50cents per ml at 50-100ml increments I have a hard time believing it is all pure USA made products. Everything I have ordered from VapeDudes and Sweet-Vapes (make sure you use the hyphen, there is another sweet vapes without it I havent tried) have no chemical taste and there is literally nothing in common about their liquids except they are all individual in their flavors. I haven't liked them all, but not because of that strange chemical taste I get from the cheaper suppliers, but just because I didn't like the taste of the flavors. I stray away from Sweet-Vapes a lot because I like to order 100ml at a time and they only have a max 30ml size and given the amount of time between my order and when it ships I question whether they actually do mix every order after it comes in. They still have the best tobacco flavor I have tried, but when I order 6 30ml bottles at the same time and have a tracking number 3 hours later there is no way that was in individual batch in my opinion. Keep in mind taste is subjective. There are those that love Dekang liquids and if they were the only ones out there, I would probably try to give up vaping like I did analogs. People swear by Mt Baker Vapors and I find their liquids to have the same medicine-chemical taste as Dekang. Same for VaporLeaf, EC Blends, and Mountain Oak Vapors. Everyone has to find what they like, but I have yet to recommend VapeDudes or Sweet-Vapes to anyone that was disappointed in anything except the little bit of extra time it takes to get VapeDudes shipped. Usual processing time is 4 business days then whatever shipping option you choose. Usually it is 7 days for me from order to mailbox for the $3 standard shipping. -
finding the right flavor
bcartervol98 replied to bigcountry1100's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
I also just realized I have 630 VapeDudes reward points. I thought these were just like most reward points, barely worth anything. I sent them an e-mail asking about it and apparently I can get a 10ml bottle per 60 points, so I have enough to order 100ml free at this point! I am stoked. I cannot find many more flavors that sound good to me, but a free 100ml of my vapes I like is a pretty good perk. -
I smoked 1.5 to 2 packs a day for over 27 years, and this was my first attempt to quit. I didnt expect it to work, and now I would never trade my vape gear for a lifetime free supply of analogs. I actually prefer it, not just a substitute that "will do". Like I said before, even if the medical community came out and stated that smoking analogs or vaping had identical health risks, I would continue to vape over smoking.

What makes Vamo, Provari's etc. so special?
bcartervol98 replied to DanielleS's topic in General Vaping Discussion
IF I ever buy anything beyond an Ego style VV like my Spinners, it will most definitely be a Provari. I just doubt I will. I saw one over the weekend at the lake and it was cool, but no more vapor and taste than my Spinner had. I guess the battery life and "bells and whistles" are the main things that make them different. It would be cool to be able to see the resistance on my atty at the push of a button. -
It wasn't that bad, just a couple small punctures and some intravenous nicotine to wake me up lol. Compared to other injuries I have sustained on our drunken weekends on the lake, it was rather minor lol.
