  1. A friend of mine that owns a shop shared this on his Facebook page and I thought it worth passing on. Very insightful and accurate imo. Credit to Eric Peterson, President of the Tennessee Smoke Free Association for this: "Advocacy vs. Public Belief I am concerned that as this war on ecigs escalates, the real reason for the product is falling to the waste side. With big tobaccos push for misleading, false, and fear mongering tactics, vapers are the new "smokers". So many people come to me now and say "you know those are worse for you than a real cigarette". When they were asking "do those work for you?". With all this taking place I still see a part of vaping moving towards a sport lifestyle, the cloud comps, the "freedom clouds" way of thinking, and so on. (Which I have done as well) Then there are the vapors that you don't see. The people that go to the shops to get their coils and some juice for their starter kit that they have used for a year and a half. They don't come to the vape meets and that's ok. We all have one thing in common here. WE QUIT SMOKING! This is the one and only purpose for vaping. We all are responsible for the public belief. We all are the face of vaping. We are what the public sees. Our actions can confirm or disprove our opposition. A year ago I relized I had to make a choice with how I would be as an advocate. Truth is anyone that vapes is an advocate so how will you represent vaping and the Public Belief?"
  2. I don't have a huge problem with them being taxed but states that pass laws making it illegal to vape (or smoke for that matter) in open outside areas are places I do not care to visit. You could not get me to move to NY or Cali if you quadrupled my salary and gave me 3 months off a year.
  3. Nanny states never let facts get in the way of their attempts to control what we do. Just happy I was born and live where I do.
  4. Still vaping Endless Summer exclusively. Nearly 2 years since I have vaped anything else outside an occasional attempt at finding another flavor I like enough to mix it up. Gave up trying.
  5. Didn't even click the link if its Ebay I stay away when it comes to vaping supplies.
  6. If you are using dual coils try switching to Kanger single coils. I use about as sweet a liquid as there is in 80%vg and never have an issue in the same style tank but when I tried the dual coils that came with the tanks they were far inferior imo.
  7. Congrats! Only 22 days till my two year! Felt great huh?
  8. When I was still trying flavors either I liked them or not. If I didn't like them I emptied the tank and gave them away or if truly nasty just threw them away.
  9. And don't think I am judging tattoos I have several lol. Everyone with tats has been into that place where the artist has to take a break to go in the back and smoke a rock before he can finish...that's what I meant lol.
  10. I won't buy hardware from any of our B&Ms on principal lol. It's not even about price as much as convenience and lack of class at our vape shops. It's like walking into shady tattoo shop meets strip club meets hookah bar. Can't even see because of the vapor from their cloud machines lol. But that's how I am with buying in general. The same way I buy 99% of the things people but at Wal Mart and Target etc... on Amazon lol. Less time in the store is more time at home or on the lake hehe.
  11. I have gotten pretty much all mine from sweet vapes and the VT store. In 2 years and dozens upon dozens of orders neither has ever been less than perfect. Sweet-Vapes just often has a better selection and the tanks-coils I use. Not discounting Tama experience at all but it's the only issue I know of happening at either place.
  12. I have a little 400w Ego Mini and when paired with a mini Davide with 24mg 80pg spearmint or peppermint and I could literally vape anywhere unnoticed lol. I have used it on planes, restaurants, sporting events and all sorts of places. Just hold it in an extra few seconds and no vapor at all and with 24mg I m satisfied in a draw or two since my adv is 18mg 80vg.
  13. Between my wife and I we have 12 Spinner 2s and 7 1300mah Spinner 1s lol. Some are almost 2 years old and the only one to die was submerged in saltwater for probably close to an hour before I found the tip of the lanyard swaying in the surf. I was drunk haha. Even so after I dried it out and gave it a rice jacuzzi it worked several more months but only lasted about half as long. I am 100% convinced the Vision Spinner is the toughest battery of its style made.
  14. I saw that video way back when the last time this came up. It is the only part of vaping I still after 2 years have an issue with as much time as we spend in and on the water. We spend 60-70 nights a year on the boat and I would pay good money for a simple safe preferably Ego style battery that is completely waterproof lol.
  15. I mean you can buy a $10 disposable camera that is waterproof to 50 feet. I assume it contains a Li Ion battery as well. I was just wondering because it has been a long time since I paid any attention to new products since I almost two years into my setup and very happy with it other than needing a way to make it waterproof. Most have survived a quick accidental dunk, left in rain dropped in puddles etc... Vision Spinners are tough as hell and I am amazed how much stronger the Davide glass is compared to KPTs but not tough enough for full no worry water submersion. I would actually prefer it to be a stick style battery even 400 or 600mah would be fine. It just sucks to be floating in the water with a drink in my hand and have to climb back in the boat to take a drag or risk killing a battery. Would be a big $$$ generator should someone come up with a design.
  16. I did a quick search and couldn't find anything but has anyone developed a waterproof ecig yet? Stick battery or APV do not care which. I read about the ELVT but it is rated for amall splashes and in reviews when submerged it took on water. I am talking about a fully submersible battery unit if no one has made one of these yet then why? Surely me and the 20 or so vaping lake people in my circle can't be the only ones that would pay premium for a truly waterproof unit.
  17. If any of my local B&Ms carried Fuzion at a competitive price I might actually spend money there lol.
  18. Yea I love East Tennessee but we go to the beach at Cherry Grove SC a couple times a year and love it. One of these days I will most likely just stay haha.
  19. North Carolina is awesome its only an hour away from here in the East Tennessee mountains where I live. I'm about 70ish miles from the state line.
  20. A couple pics of mine from another thread: 1. Nice mess of crappie all over 12" biggest just under 18" weighed 3-11 2. 7lb 4oz largemouth by best on my lake 3. 80lb+ blue cat my wife and a client of hers caught on my boat. Hard to know exact weight because my scale bottomed out at 75lbs. Was the biggest of the summer last year. We catch 10-12 over 50 every year.
