Theres just something about...
bcartervol98 replied to bcartervol98's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
I am just so pissed that I cannot seem to get anything that will hold this awesome flavor for any amount of time. I guess its just something in the flavoring that gums up coils super fast for some reason. -
Everyone has to find what works for them. I am not a fan of the taste of VG and try to put just enough to have a good vapor cloud. 80-20 or 70-30 seems to be the ticket for me. I am all 24mg all day every day but everyone's bodies have difference tolerance levels I am sure.

Strawberry Fields. I know a lot more on here like this flavor, I love it, and wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem. No matter the tank I have used, CE4, Vivi Nova, T2, T3S, doesn't matter, for some reason the coils start tasting burned wayyy faster than with other liquids. Sometimes it is in the first tank after a coil change, sometimes the second, but I have yet to fill a tank a third time with it that I do not get a distinct burned taste. With Spearmint and Candy Cane I have refilled 7-8 times now on the same coils. I know I posted a similar post before and thought the switch to T3S had fixed the issue but now the same thing is happening with those as well. I am vaping 2.2ohms at 3.5-3.7v which should be more than conservative enough with voltage to resistance. Anyone else noticing this?

Water? Not sure I would ask any more questions to that person lol.It is most likely 60% Propylene Glycol and 40% Vegetable Glycerine. I see allergy posts all the time, but PG allergies are relatively rare. If you have ever used lotion, shampoo, kissed a girl with lipstick on, used soap or a body wash, then you have already come in contact with PG. If you have ever eaten marshmallows, candy, flavored water, cheeses, puddings, yogurts or about any processed foods you have had Vegetable Glycerine. Ever had a reaction to any of those? I am not a medical professional by any means, but allergies to ingredients in e-liquid are extremely rare. If you havent been prone to allergies in the past, then this most likely is not an allergy. It could be from your body detoxing from the analogs since there are tons of chemicals and carcinogens your body is no longer ingesting. I dont know what it is, but highly doubtful it is an allergy to the vaping unless you have some shady liquid.

I also carried a lighter in my pocket for a while too. It was sort of a comfort blanket to feel it in there even though I had nothing, well nothing tobacco, to light with it. You can ALWAYS find an excuse to put down your e-cig and fire one up. We who are addicted to a substance are experts at justifying things. When you want to smoke, just dont. Its the easiest way and you will be AMAZED at how you feel as your taste and smell come back. I guarantee you within a week or two of being analog free, a smoking friend will walk up and talk to you and you will say "DAYUMMMM thats what I smelled like?" Hang tough!

I mean I have a total of 12 batteries between my wife and I now, and 32 tanks. Again, my wife calls me "The King oF Excess" haha
-
I said "Most likely" lol. I always leave myself an out and rarely speak in absolutes. I have been in the car business almost 20 years and have learned that important lesson haha.
-
I just stopped and never felt the need to pick an analog back up. My wife had to slowly stop. I think the easiest thing it to just stop and vape anytime you want one. Be sure to get quality liquids that will give you consistent nicotine and ratios.

Is this the same kit or what? The description seems abbreviated in the Marketplace and doesn't list the contents as plainly. This one shows to have a charger and everything. Would all I need with this one be the extra battery? http://www.theveteranvaper.com/joye-evic/ I just want to get everything I need at once lol.
-
Does this have everything I need to use and charge this? Will the T2 and T3S work without an adapter? http://vaportalk.com/marketplace/joye-evic.html I really want to order something from the Marketplace. All the other Evic kits are over 100 bucks but all come with CE4s or other things I do not need. All I need is the unit, the battery, and a way to charge it.

Yea thats my concern, not wanting to leave it at home when we are on the boat. I am not worried about work, since my PV sits in a coozie on my desk all day and if I go outside it is just in my hand. I have never dropped one at work. I sit at my desk most of the day and just vape away. I have several spinners, 4 since my wife prefers the smaller Ego designer 650mah batteries I got her that are all pink and purple and girly. They set at 4.2v all the time so she likes that as a higher voltage vaper than I. I will most likely go with the Evic when I pull the trigger.

Dont be sorry for the long post, that type of thing is what I am looking for. I am a completely clueless noob when it comes to anything outside the Ego style family. I would like to start with something less $$ than Provari probably. Maybe ZMax or Tesla. Interested to hear about these. Are they both VV VW? Will they both read out the resistance of the atty connected? That is one of the things that I like a lot since I have coils and coils that are all in a case with no way to tell the resistance since I didnt label when I first started ordering lol.

Or like my wife did a few years back. She went shopping and showed me the receipt for her trip for fall wardrobe and clothes for our son to start school that was like $400. Of course that was just from one register in one department, the rest of the story came out when she got busted by a friend who accidentally let it slip she had spent $xxxx.xx (yes there are 4 X'S there). We made a pact to always be honest about money from then on lol.

I have searched and cannot find the answer here to this and get conflicting information online. Obviously my next step is to go past the Ego style batteries and get a mod. I see Mechanical Mods and other terms thrown around. What is the differences between the styles? As I shop around what am I looking for? Do the T2s and T3S clearos I usejust screw on like a normal battery or are adapters required? The batteries for these look like more standard shaped batteries. The mod is basically a tube you insert batteries into as opposed to being solid state I guess Another question. For a first Mod, and assume money is not an object, should I just order a Provari kit? Am I paying a lot for a name there? Are Mods pretty much maintenance free like the Ego batteries as in just keep em charged and they go or is there re-wiring and rebuilding going on? I like my Spinners but all of a sudden want something more, at least to try, and the Provari would be an expensive mistake to make if I didnt like it and decided to go back to my Spinners.

Bump Everytime You Buy Something New

I actually took a pull off a Marlboro Light about a month ago and then a pull off Sweet-Vapes "Traditional Tobacco" and could not tell the difference. Maybe it was my tastebuds, but it amazed me. It is the closest thing. Get 80-20 14mg. -
The $38.99 Ego 1000mah starter kit from VaopeDudes is hard to beat. Its where I started as I talked about in my Starter Kit Questions thread. The batteries alone are worth the cost of the kit.
-
I am honest with my wife about how much I spend lol. Its not a big deal though, I can justify anything. At one time I had her convinced we NEEDED 3 boats. In turn she is honest when she drops $300 on perfume on a whim. I suffer chronic short term memory loss and cannot lie well, it always bites me in the ***. Truth requires no memory lol, its always the same.

You will find most of the time this is the case. We made some new vaping friends on the lake this weekend that have been paying $65 for 900mah (Knockoff) Twists and $14.99 for disposable CE4 clearomizers. I know brick and mortars have to stay in business, but I also have to pay my bills and a small difference I would pay but not that huge. Sweet-Vapes (better selection) and theveteranvaper.com (best customer service in the business imo) is where I get almost all my batteries and supplies. VapeDudes.com is pretty much my exclusive liquid supplier.

I do not mix liquids I keep a separate tank for each flavor. I mean I have mixed before to experiment but I generally prefer my flavors the way I order them.
-
I keep 2 filled with Strawberry Fields, one tobacco, one Spearmint, and one Candy Cane to switch throughout the day. I also always have 8-10 replacement coils on hand and a couple in my carry case as they are sort of finicky and can need to be replaced on the fly.
-
I have yet to have a liquid I do not like improve by steeping.
-
Oh that's at sweet-Vapes.com
-
The T3S is around $5 ( Genuine Kanger) and replacement coils are $5.95 for a 5 pack. I keep 4 tanks in my case filled and have 10 total.

I have a pretty good thread in this forum called "Starter Kit Questions" hopefully can get some answers there. Everyone here are very helpful!
