Its a great way to see what is the best on the shelves right now. I've seen the wide Bore tips online but how do they vape differently then regular tips?

I need to anonymously send this article to my boss where I just started working. They have a policy that if you work for them you cannot use ANY kind of nicotine whether you are working or when your off work. If they draw your blood or check your urine and you have nicotine in your system you get fired on the spot. Of course I cheat. I do have to work 12 hour shifts without being able to vape but on the hour ride home I think I vape a tank Lol. If they test me Ill just be fired. I think that policy is so wrong anyway. What a person does on their off time and it is not illegal they should not be able to control that. If I didn't need the money so much I would not have taken the job.

After much research I think I may just stick with what I know, the Protank. I have 1 last question and then I'll leave you alone for a little while : ). There are 3 types of coils to choose from with the new Protanks and I have no idea which one I should go with and since I have told yall about how I like hard hits with no burnt lips could you help me out with this last decision please? Should it be SSOCC Coil , PRO RBA or the Upgraded SSOCC Coils (Ceramic, Nickel, Nichrome, Kanthal Clapton)? And of which strength or ohm should I choose? Thanks yall for all of your guidance. I don't know what I would have done without yall the last 4 years.

Tam or Christopher the Triton 2s are $25.50 at Sweet Vapes. I wont be able to buy them from either place until I get paid at the end of the month but I thought you should know. Where ever they cost the least when I get paid of course is where I am going to buy them. Also, Tam do you like the Triton minis or just the full sized ones? Hey again Earthling. I went looking for the 50W Subtank mini kit you said you saw at sweet vapes and other places but I could not find it anywhere. When I google it the Kander Subox mini kit comes up. Is that what you were talking about? If not could you send me a link please.

Earthling, I learned a long time ago to stop buying things that cost less just because they cost less. I have ended up with so much unwanted equipment that way. So if you REALLY think the Subtank mini is just as good as the Triton 2 then I think I will go for the kits you were talking about. What ohm should I go with the coils?

Hey Spydre. The wattage mode is the only one I know how to use. They must just send them to me in that mode. There is a W behind my setting number. I had ordered 3 of the Kangertech subox nano starter kits that came with the delrin tips and I leave them on their tanks but I've had no problem with them getting hot on my lips. Thank you for your suggestions. Hey Tam. I know I am confused but my Protanks or Aerotanks do not fit in the batteries (mods?) that came in the Kangertech subox nano starter kits. Only the tanks that came with them and the Melo tanks I had in a drawer.

Good morning Earthling. That is a lot of good information. With you AND Tam suggesting the Triton 2 that sounds like a good choice. I love it that were going back to the top fill. I don't know why we ever started filling at the bottom. Just a mess. When I first started vaping about 5 years ago it seemed so simple but choosing what equipment AND juice to use has become so complicated. For instance, I love the juice Deadly Sin from Good Life vapor and has been one I have stuck with since day one. The last time I ordered online they had 2 kinds of Deadly Sin so I thought I would try the new version because new is supposed to be improved right? Well, what I learned is that the new kind must be for the big tanks and coils because my little Protanks and their little coils would let me pull and pull juice through them maybe 2 tanks at the most and then it was just too tight. I have always purchased 1.8 ohm coils just because they are in the middle and I do not know how to make an educated decision I just make an educated guess. With what I have described as the heat and amount of vapor, you know not hot enough to burn my lips but plenty of good hard hits, which ohm would you suggest I get with the Triton 2s?If I go that route. I'm toggling between them and the Protank 4s. When you say VW battery device are you speaking of the isticks? I had to quit using the batteries like the spinners because every time someone pumped the table the whole thing would fall over so when I started using the box type of batteries I loved the fact that they stayed upright and no BANG! Thank you Edna and Tam. What type of batteries or mods do those tanks fit Tam and do you think they are comparable to the Protanks and Aerotanks just better? Where do you get the tanks and coils?

I have tried all kinds of tanks big and small but I keep coming back to Protanks 2 and 3 and the Aerotank 2. All of the big tanks with the big coils burn my lips if I cut them up high enough to satisfy the amount of heat and vapor I want in my lungs. All of my Protanks and Aerotanks are wearing out and I need to get more tanks. I got a job and start to work Monday so soon I will be able to afford to buy some. Tam, if you are reading I know you said you made a change from the Protanks and Aerotanks and if I'm not mistaken they were your favorite for a long time but found tanks that you liked better. I've seen they have Protank 4's now but before I buy I would like to see what you guys and gals think the best tanks are for me because when its time to get fresh tanks I usually get 4 so I can have a decent rotation and that's a lot of money to spend to be unhappy with what you bought. I have done that several times and they are just sitting in a drawer. I could have a garage sale of nothing but vaping stuff. I have not kept up with what is new and improved tanks and I know most of yall try the new tanks when they come out. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Bebop. It's amazing I have been using these things for at least 6 months and never used that middle button because I did not know what it was for and I'm so afraid if I go messing with buttons I don't know anything about I will mess the whole thing up. So now I when I press and hold that button it says 450 Ni/F but then it goes right back to setting I have always known which is W, what I assume means watts. That's the one I have always used to make it hotter or cooler. I had bought a box of 0.3 when I bought them and don't know why because I don't know the difference between the 3 choices: Ni 0.15, 0.3 or 0.5. I guess I went with 0.3 because it was in the middle. I have 3 0.5ohms that came with the tanks. When I bought the Kanger subox nano kits I bought a box of 5 Arctic Horizon Tech BTC 0.2 ohms because they were on the page with the kits but they do not fit them. So would you please tell me what that setting should be with the 0.3 ohm coils and the 0.5 ohm coils? Also, do I need to adjust that setting as much as I do the watts setting? That you for all of your advice. I just love my buddies on Vapor Talk. Bebop I forgot to ask about the settings for Protank 2s and 3s and Aerotanks.

Hey, All and thank you all for your thoughts sand input. Tam, no It never crossed my mind to put the Protanks or Aerotanks on the Provari. I thought for sure it would blow the coils. Are you still using the Protanks and Aerotanks? I saw the Protank 4 on some site the other day and they look nice. Have you tried them? What is your tank of choice now? I have learned that our taste is alike and it is safe to follow your lead. FXRich, you could be right about not having the air holes open because I do not like a lot of air, usually as little as I can fix it. I did not know that could cause leaking. Earthling, I'm not to sharp at how these things are built and I really don't know where the o rings are suppose to be but the company is sending me 2 new tanks to replace the 2 that are shot. When I get them I'm going to pay close attention to how they are put together and compare them to the ones that leak. I also thought about taking them by a local shop to see if they can see what the problem is. I believe the coils I am using for the Protanks and Aerotanks are the older version. I, like you, found them on a great sale so I had 5 boxes of each but they have gone fast. And learning to rewick them. Not talented in that area either. I've been a nurse for 26 years and I think that is the only real talent I have except maybe gardening. Now I'm going to tell yall something I forgot to mention in my original post that is probably going to make you all say "AWW that's the problem" I purchased these Kanger subox nano starter kits from a site I had never used before but everywhere I looked all the pink and purple was sold out and I found the on a site that also offered them cheaper then I had been seeing. I did not know until 3 weeks went by and I had not received them that they were coming from China and even though they have Kangertech written all over them I'm sure they are clones. Hey Bebop. How have you been doing? It's been a long time.Thank you for your advice. How do I put it in power mode? I did not know those modes existed on the Eleaf. I only know how to cut it up or down. Same thing with the Provari. They are way over my head. All kinds of initials that I guess are settings come up when it is first cut on that I don't have a clue what, how or where to set them except up and down and when I get them to a 4.5 or 6 I don't know how to keep it there . It keeps changing. I have moved since I bought them and I lost their instructions. Now that I'm not working maybe I can check out utube and see what it can teach me or even the Provari web site.When I put the Melo on the Eleaf it does work but it takes 5 seconds of trying to fire it until it starts. I know that seems petty and I may end up just dealing with it but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try to find a way to vape that I enjoy. Thanks again. Have a great day!

I was recently unemployed so I am having to go to the devices I have had on a show case because they are just to pretty to use. But when all the coils are quickly running out to my Protank 2s, 3s and my Aerotanks I have got to start using all the equipment I have coils to. I am having 2 separate problems: Before I lost my job I bought 3 of the Orginal kanger subox nano starter kits. The Mod parts of the kits are fine but the tank to everyone of them leak. 1 fell apart when I opened it. I know without looking at them it will be impossible for anyone to tell me what to do about it but I was wondering if anyone else had these problems with these kits. I have changed the coils out but no help. I bought 2 Provari over a year ago if not longer. It has been so long since I have used them it took me a while just to figure out how to put the batteries in but I finally figured it out. The only big tanks I have to put on them is Eleaf MELO with 0.3 ohm. But when I put the full tank on I get an E1 message. I tried the only operation I know how to do with the Provari and cut it up all the way to 6, as low as it will go and the half way in between. Still says E1. I have had these batteries in the refrigerator for a while but I put them on the charger and charged them until the light turned green. I'm flying through the coils I have left for my Protank 2s, 3s and Aerotanks. The juice is not out of date but maybe I bought a batch of bad ones. I got to where if I caught them on sale I would buy 5 boxes at the time of each. It seems like from the first tank of juice the pull is very tight and the juice tastes burnt. I always let them stand from a day or 2 before I use them after I change the coil. Those coils are 1.8 ohm. I'm using the Eleaf istick TC 40 W with the Protanks and Aerotanks. Any help will be very appreciated. When I post something I push the button at the bottom to the right to notify me of reply's and turns green but I have not gotten reply's in a while. Am I doing it correctly or should I just let it alone and stay red?

They must have changes owners. They use to be so reliable, trust worthy and nice but I have noticed a big change in customer service. Before if there was a problem they just sent me a replacement with an apology attached. Now I just get a "tuff luck".

Tam, why not the rubbing alcohol? That's all I have ever used because I never have drinking alcohol in the house.

I have one, and they are about the same as a subox mini setup, but the tank is smaller, and the mod is smaller at one end. Which coil you use depends on how you vape, I use the 1.2 horizontal coil, but you may want to use a different coil, depending on your preferences. Also the Nano is better if you prefer MTL over direct lung. Thank you for the reply sugar. I guess not too many people have tried them out. I saw one at a friends house and it just looked very interesting, especially since I am still in the Protanks and Aerotanks. I do not know what MTL stands for but I do love a direct lung hit. I bought some coils too and they were 90 cent a piece. I hope that means they last longer then the ones I have been using for the Protanks and Aerotanks. I tried the clone first and if I like it I will go for more. Thanks again for responding. Have a great weekend.

Has anyone had any experience with these set ups? If so what are the pros and cons. I would like three of these beautiful kits but don't know how well they function. Any advice will be appreciated, including what is the best size coils fit. Thanks ahead for your advice. Patricia

I have been using Protank 3s and Aerotanks for a very long time but I have not had to buy coils for a year because I ordered a large supply a year ago. Now I don't know if there are new and improved coils or just the same thing. Also, the place I use to buy them have gone out of business so any advice of a good cheap and trust worthy site to order from. Also please suggest what coils work best for you. Thank you in advance.

Talking about the nice look made me think of another reason I have changed over to the isticks. Tam told me about the wraps that can be bought to put on them to pretty them up, or for you guys, made them look cool. I bought mine on ebay and I have people asking me all the time "where did you get that?" And just for $8.00 a piece.

I know this is very unusual but I use the iStick 40 and the tanks I like best is the Protank 3 and the Aerotank. I never have dry hits and I like my juice just as you do. I know they are smaller tanks but by the time I have vaped a tank full of that flavor juice I am ready for another flavor anyway. Just my thoughts. Good luck.

I have that problem all the time mostly because I have arthritis in my fingers so I keep a pair of small pliers handy to loosen it up then do the rest with my fingers. Good luck.

I love to buy my juice during holidays. Save loads of money that way. I have not seen very many yet for Easter. Anyone have suggestions?
