Bump Everytime You Buy Something New
Patricia replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
After reading all the good reviews about the Airflow Control Valves I bought 4 of them from Sweet Vapes to go on my KPT 2's. I'm always loosening and tightening my collars and tanks trying to get the air flow just right so I can't wait to get these and try them out. -
Airflow control valve for KPT 2, 3 and Aerotank
Patricia replied to Patricia's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Troy, the Aero Base that you are talking about, is that the same thing as the Airflow control valve that I saw? -
Same here Vispera. Also, juices I bought as trials and absolutely loved I ordered a 100Ml bottle and steeped them. Then with all the built up anticipation of that taste of the trial juice it is not even good to me anymore. It made me wonder if they changed up the recipe but I think it's like Tam said, our taste buds are forever changing.

Airflow control valve for KPT 2, 3 and Aerotank
Patricia posted a topic in General Vaping Discussion
While shopping around today because of all the great St. Patty's day sales I saw Sweet Vapes has a Airflow Control Valve for KPT 2, 3 and Aerotank. I've never used 3 or the Aerotank but all I use is the KPT 2. There was not much of a description so I am curious if anyone uses the Airflow control valve and if so what does it do that improves the performance. -
I'm confused help me figure this out please

Compenstine, you are a smart guy and would make a good PI. Yep, it is SweetVapes and I asked and Chuck wrote me back explaining. I always get my coils from them because I always get really good coils. They have a 10% off hardware code going on today till MN. I'm gonna get 5 packs. -
I am in the process of buying 5 packs of 5 coils for my KPT 2 and in the description it says the following and I can't follow what they are saying. Can you pros break it down for me please? Each case of 10pks (50 coils) has an authenticity scratch off on the outside. If you purchase less than 10 packs feel free to request this number, and we'll write it on your invoice. The number can be verified with Kanger, and tell you if the products are authentic or not. Please note Kanger changes the packaging often! Does this mean that it is a toss up? They may or may not be authentic Kager coils?

CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!

My High Five from Good Life Vapors is still steeping but when I bought it the guy who sold it to me said that I should remove 1 of the flavor wicks in my KPT coil because it is 100% VG usually sold to people who vaped with mods and rebuildable tanks. He said I would have problems with dry hits if I didn't. I don't plan on doing it though unless I have to. I brought it up in the forum when I first bought it and the elders said they did not think it was going to be necessary. I hope not. He showed me how to do it and those flavor wicks are tiny and it takes a steady hand to remove them with tweezers.

B do you have to take any of the flavor wicks out of your KPT 2 when vaping straight VG juice? Do you have to alter your coils at all?
-
The littlest one looks just like you. I bet they are both daddy's girls. Have a great time with them while you can. Mine have grown up, got jobs and have their own family's now so I don't get to see them as much as I would like to.
-
Wow B I never thought about that but it does seem to be on the outside, thank goodness.

I guess I cleaned my tank a little too good because my blue one is clear now. I just wash them with very warm water with dawn dish liquid. Sometimes it really does not matter the color of the glass if my juice is dark but I enjoy my colors so well I try to put the darker liquids in the clear tank. I've looked around a little but have been unsuccessful in finding a vendor that sells the colored replacement glass. If you know someone who sells them please let me know. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day in Georgia. I hope it is where you are too.
-
I don't know about other states but there are a lot of counties here in Georgia that are dry. Meaning booze is illegal to sell or buy it on any day of the week.

yep, I believe Vapor Talk and all the new vaping stuff and information did it for me too.

I get nervous also but the longer I have been vaping the more chances I am taking. If someone were to tell me not to I would certainly put it away and apologize. Saturday I went to Wal-Mart to get tires put on my car which was a 2 hour wait. I walked around inside to kill time and I vaped. I felt people looking but only one lady asked me what is that. It started a conversation in which 4 others joined in and a couple was telling success stories of friends or loved ones who had success with vaping and quit smoking. At any rate no one told me to stop and it gave me the opportunity to teach a few people the good things about vaping.

All of the above and Goodlife Vapor sells some really good juice. My Favs are El Kamino and Deadly Sin.

Cleaning tanks and drip tips? Also, tank tilting
Patricia replied to spydre's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Well Spydre, I have found that when I start off with 4 completely cleaned tanks and new coils and 4 30Ml bottles of juice I get good vapor and taste until the bottles get down about half way then I take the tanks completely apart and give them a good cleaning with dawn and hot water, let then dry and put in a new coil I'm good for the rest of the bottles. Sometimes I will have to change a bad coil out in between. When I do that half way cleaning I clean and soak those coils in alcohol, rinse them and let them dry, then I dry burn them and I get a couple of more weeks out of them, as long as it is not dark juice. I'm going to stop buying the dark juice. It just is not worth the cost and the hassle of the coils I have to go through. About the tilting thing I don't see how it can burn your coil up as long as it stays in juice but I don't know that for a fact. -
Do you have a link for that poll?
-
Cool, that's great to hear Josh. I had just watched a Utube video on how to dry burn coils and the lady doing the video did so I am so glad I asked. This is going to be much easier then I thought. Thank you.

Do I have to take the flavor wicks out before I dry burn them? I don't have very steady hands, like there is no way I could thread a needle so I don't know if I could successfully take them out or put them back in.
